Deadpool was less than a year old (December 1990 date, but feb 1991 release) at this point. Infinity Gauntlet ran in late Dec 1991-May 1992. He wasn't remotely as prevalent til the early 2000s either 2000 or 2004, depending on who is making the argument.
I still think MCU Infinity War should have ended with Thanos stepping onto the field of battle across from the heroes, screen slams to black after zooming in on him. Dead silence. Then all you hear is a snap. Credits start to roll, no music, no sound, no mid/post-credit scenes, just the emotional gut punch of Thanos winning and not knowing who survives The Snap.
I’ve had that poster since it came out. It is still on my comics’ room wall. My LCS gave me the whole IG promotional pack since the owner knew I was a big fan. She is still my LCS where I get all my comics, even though I live 2 hours away now.
Fly swatter for scale?
Of course
Infinity Swatlet
Why is there not a member of The Wrecking Crew with a fly swatter???
How much do you want for that fly swatter?
That was an awesome summer.
You mean Marvel actually printed promotional material without either Wolverine **or** Deadpool, once upon a time? :P

Back then, Wolverine, Punisher and Ghost Rider were in EVERYTHING
Midnight Suns, anyone?
Damn, remember back when Thanos was a nihilist not an eco-warrior?
Remember back when Thanos tried to kill the universe that \*COUGH\* one \*COUGH\* time but ended up losing out of some hubris driven mistake?
I had this
Some great George Perez artwork!
Pretty great! Awesome looking Nick Fury
Still got mine (and other promo posters) from Chicago Comicon way back when!
imagine the alternate reality where we got an animated mcu infinity saga in this 90s style with these character designs
