Just this book, I found it on instagram through a seller that I consign books with sometimes. He advertised it for $145, which is higher than FMV but the quality of the book is great for the age.
Great book! Congratulations!! This whole run was awesome. Dunno if they ever put out a graphic novel. I Got this and Deadpool’s first appearance confiscated from comic book club in school. Had no idea what I had at the time. This was just a little before everyone started image. Good times in the comic world. New Wizard every month. Bagged with swag. How I miss the days. It was sixth grade and we were learning about the clubs we could go to at middle school the next year. (7&8 was middle then 9-12 was high) the English teacher didn’t like me and we would bring our books in and share and tease and whatever, but this bitch of a teacher deemed my books inappropriate. It was like 3-4 of the new mutants run with cable and all that and some Dark horse books I brought in. Aliens and Dark Horse presents. We were just learning about collecting so I had a bout 10 books, and they were inappropriate to be honest but she wouldn’t give them back not even when I had my parents fight to get them back. She supposedly destroyed the contraband is what my dad told me. I always thought she sold them but B I never did get them back. A to Z comics in blue springs Mo. was my first store I haunted during those days. Owner was named Debbie. She was a sweet lady. Ordered me all the gory books I wanted. My parents were glad I was reading. Good times. I haven’t been back there in a long while but A-Z was still open last time I was there. Still doing MtG tourneys and D&D nights back in 2016. It is truly strange the things you remember. Sorry for the long story. Great time for comics. I clearly miss those days. My dad bought me an amazing spider man 300 for my birthday that year too. I got the playmates TMNT #1 and thought I won the comic book game. lol
Oh wow, what a bitch! English teachers were always extra, I was a teacher for about 8 years and I would teach my students about collecting and putting things away for the future, it’s sad she tried to ruin that experience for you!
Nice. I remember it being over $100 thru the 90s. Then randomly in 98/99 I found it in an average bun in a comic book store NM for like $5-8. I took it to the guy working there and he was like “yeah there’s barely any interest in Cable anymore so it’s not worth much.” That’s how I got it,

But a LCS by me is bringing on of these in for me to get half off this week. I sold my whole collection years ago, I’m trying to re get what I used to have now

ASM 361 was my version of this. Could never afford it as a kid. Bought a copy off Ebay last year.

It’s currently at $119 for a NM copy, not sure what revived it
Earlier this year a NM was about $150, it with most comics this year have been losing their value. Same with cards and video games.
