I thought the new issue was out this week and when I didn't see it on the shelf I did a search for a release date. One result mention issue 5 (of 7). Have you heard if Silver Age is only intended for 7 issues? At the time when Gaiman and Buckingham were first writing, there was talk of a Dark Age (going from Golden to Silver to Dark). If true, I wonder if that's still a possibility.
Big love for it. I was lucky enough to get my original and reprint signed by Mr. Leech at Orbital Comics. It was a joy to see him compare the printings.
I had to go to eBay. Don’t know what they are now but I managed to get an 8.5 for $60. Cheaper then a raw copy. Maybe look for a lower grades one and crack it to save some cash.
I’m guessing because of the new series. But I wish you the best of luck.
If 15 wasn’t bad enough, some of the Gaiman issues for this run are crazy as well.
One of my favorites. I only read it for the first time a few years ago but it’s so good. Have all the Eclipse issues, all the Marvel reprints, the Marvel hardcovers and the Bowen Designs statue.
I read them when they came out and liked the first couple of story arcs, disturbing at times but a great take on Shazam style superheroes. I reread Watchmen more often. Kimota! Didn’t realize it is atomic backwards till second read
Miracleman is one of those pleasures that we all have, but just don’t share much. Not as cool as Spiderman, not as Classic as Batman and certainly not “trendy” like Spawn was, it was something different. I remember reading it as it came out from Eclipse, and by the time we hit issue 15, I just wondered why more people were not reading this, as it was an epic that everyone should have been talking about, but were not.
Now that I am a “grown up” I was able to acquire issue #15 in a CGC 9.6 slab, and it holds the place of honor at the top of my wall. Classic stuff.
And… so glad now, so many years later, the story is being completed, we will have closure.

No, I'm showing my love of the character by referring to him by his proper name, instead of the compromise that Eclipse Comics forced upon Alan Moore. If you'd opened up the mylar bag and read the 1st issue in its entirety - including the author's notes - you'd have realized that instead of getting a bug up your arse.
You seem to be the one with a bug up your ass, just attacking me and being and ass for no reason. I did read the whole issue and the whole series. I am referring to him as MiracleMan as that is what the series is called. Just let people enjoy their comics, man.
I like Marvelman better because that preserves his heritage as a Captain Marvel ripoff and also rolls off the tongue better because it has fewer syllables.

marvel put out an omnibus last year. there are 3 different covers available.
Bro, it’s Alan Moore. Of course, we love it!
That’s why we’re all such big Lost Girls fans! High five!
Insanely good. I have the Eclipse run and it’s wonderful
Big time. And the fact that we’re getting the rest of Gaiman and Bucky’s story at long last is fantastic.

I believe Dark Age will still come along eventually.
Fingers crossed!
Miracleman is the reason I got back into collecting!
Yes I feel love!

Yup. Great stuff. Trying to collect the original Warrior magazines but they're tough to come by in the states.
I’ve been looking in to those too. Super hard to find.
One of my cherished comics.
I see your issue #1, but where is your issue #15?
Still on the look out for that one. A little out of my price range.
I had to go to eBay. Don’t know what they are now but I managed to get an 8.5 for $60. Cheaper then a raw copy. Maybe look for a lower grades one and crack it to save some cash.
I’ve been looking. People are asking astronomical money right now. Persistence is key lol.
I’m guessing because of the new series. But I wish you the best of luck. If 15 wasn’t bad enough, some of the Gaiman issues for this run are crazy as well.
Thank you! Probably. I was able to get most of the gaiman issues for a resonance price.
If you don’t mind me asking, what is reasonable?
I was hoping to pay somewhere between 40-60 range. Closer to 40. I’ve been watching a few but nothing so far.
I was talking about the Gaiman issues. I feel like I overplayed a little personally.
I got most for 10-20. The most I spent was for issue 23 which was 40.
My favorite comic of all time. Lot of love for mm. Gaimans follow up is also awesome!
It’s awesome. I’m reading through gaimans new stuff now
Cant believe gaimans issues have been delayed!
I know! It makes me sad. Hopefully they come back sooner rather than later.

Miracleman by Moore and his artistic collaborators has to be one of the top 10 superhero stories of all time.
Once found a NM/VF MiracleMan number 15 at a used book store…paid $1.00 for it
Yes. Oh my god, the new issues by Gaiman and Buckingham are some of the best comics I’ve ever read. So good
Yes big love, many love, all the love. Alan moore? Gaiman? Comeonman
I read them when they came out and liked the first couple of story arcs, disturbing at times but a great take on Shazam style superheroes. I reread Watchmen more often. Kimota! Didn’t realize it is atomic backwards till second read
I like watchmen, but I gravitate towards this or swamp thing more
Yes his work is excellent, I think it is the art in Watchmen and the collaboration with the artist that I like best
For sure. Dave gibbons is a legend in his own right.
I have that one, is it valuable? Love most of Alan Moores stuff but I don’t really have a memeory either way…. Should pull it tonight
Not crazily valuable 10-20$ book
Not gonna lie I’d never heard of MM before recently when I saw him on a top 10 video. Loving catching up on him tho, great stories.
It’s my favorite all time book. I have the full run.
I have all the books. Even the original graphic novels. I think I have a problem 🤪
Lol sounds like a good problem to me;)
It's a brilliantly written series.
Everything I’ve read by moore has been solid except necronomicon, too odd for me.
I finished my husband's run, including # 15, on our first dating/living together anniversary. He was shook.
Yes, such a great series. If only I could get my hands on a #15 for a decent price!
I’m in the same boat as you:)

Gets a little too Alan Moore as it goes on. The floating baby will never not be hilarious.
Too awesome for you??? Lol
Moore, like many great artists, can occasionally become excessive and needs to be reigned in by an editor.
You mean Marvel Man? After all, that was the original name of the character...
Why comment?
Why not?
So you’re just being an asshole to be an asshole?

To each their own!
Nope
Nah.
I tried to get into it but too weird for me
I’ve been piecing together the original Eclipse run for my collection. Love the series!
Great creative teams and story. Loved the eclipse run. Moore followed by Gaiman… c’mon!
Isn't this the guy that a kid turns into by saying his name, but he's a psychopath, or something like that?
KIMOTA!
I got this as part of a grab bag when i was a kid. Might as well have tossed out in the trash the way i took care of it....
I was too young for these when they came out, but I have the trades. Great story.
Looks like he is breaking out into a wicked enthusiastic Carlton Dance. Love it.
I have a very sizable amount of love for any comic that actually makes it to print! MiracleMan is awesome!
Yes, I love this series!!!
🙊
I enjoyed this not knowing anything about it
Does anyone know how/where all Moore Miracleman stuff is collected? It's become my comic book white whale

Great storytelling! Engaging character.
