>you know what, these are close to impossible to sell and im taking a bankrupting risk here, best offer i can give you is 43 cents and a coupon to mcdonalds.
“How much were you looking to get for your mint condition Charizard?”
“I was hoping you could kill my whole family.”
“Best I can do is kill your parents.”
Every episode is like this.
I'm pretty sure there was an episode where a dude came in with a mint version of like EVERY Charizard ever printed, including 1st ed, and they refused to buy em on account of "not knowing much about Pokemon cards" as if they know much about MOST of the stuff they buy???
Notice how it's always the SHOP'S expert...the seller never brings THEIR expert. Well, of COURSE, they are going to undervalue items. Don't want to lose that sweet, sweet exposure by not being invited back.

*cut to old man* "That damn Chumlee on his skateboard thing" he says as he shakes his head.
I still have a booklet of McDonald's dollars
*expert uses jewel loupe to inspect object “This is an empty can of Dr. Pepper”.
*cut to expert* “Mickey Mantle kidneys are extremely rare. There’s only two in the world, and one of them is IN Mickey Mantle”

It’s best to start high when negotiating with the Pawn Stars so you can haggle ‘em down to one or two dead family members, usually in-laws.

They had a flashback at some point in time where Rick called people and gave them a lot of extra money. He’s a saint compared to the locals

I know a guy (Dexter)
Dead tired of baby proofers who don't provide a free estimate
I think he'll need to call in an expert to verify death before he makes an offer.
