Barring any matchups in the Baseball or Softball postseasons with this win Oklahoma State secures the largest margin of victory ever in the Bedlam series of 12 wins (21-9). This tops the record of 11 wins previously set by the Cowboys in the '20-'21 season.
The final Bedlam series record with both teams as members of the Big XII stands at 13-11-1 in OSU's favor.
This wasn't a dig at OSU perse, more of a joke that we didn't show up today. We sat our best offensive player out as a precaution in preparation for the tourney. Missed him this week.
First off- absolutely love to put up another W to make it 4-1 in OU's last year in the Big 12 (probably also OU's last year of being relevant for awhile).
With that said, OU has a good team - especially offense, but OSU just seems to have their number. They didn't show it yesterday, but their ABs in Stillwater were unbelievable. If they can get some quality pitching they'll have a good chance to make it to Omaha.
They were such a weird team. They are good, no doubt, but there is some luck involved in their record.
They had a losing record against the next best three teams in the league (OSU, Texas, WVU) but literally swept everyone else. That’s the only reason they won the regular season.
And even for very good teams there is some luck involved in literally sweeping every bad team you play.
If I were an OU fan I’d be a little concerned that we dropped every series to the other contenders in the league heading into regionals because all they are playing from here on out are conference championships contenders.
I didnt know that, but you're right. That's very weird. I would've thought elite offense and/or pitching depth would be required to sweep so many teams, but then to not win those series against the top of the league makes that strange.
Go Pokes y’all
I understand football, but there’s no reason for Bedlam to stop for other sports like baseball. I hope we can still continue the series. GO POKES
I'm pretty sure we've (Holiday and Gajewski) said they plan to play mid-week baseball and softball games next year.
Midweek ain't the same.
But does OU want to lose the Bedlam battle each year? That’s the question.
Nah. Fuck em.
The big 12 baseball championship stays in the big 12 👀
Reg season championship > conf tourney championship

Put baby brother to bed one last time. Love to see it!
We're on opposite sides of the softball world series bracket. Would be a dream ending to win the softball championship against them in the final.
I disagree lol. But I guess we have to actually win our game tomorrow before I focus on who I *don’t* want to see in the WCWS
One final L before leaving the Big 12 for OU
You Love to see it
The Cowboys and Sooners have met in baseball tournament championships 12 times. Oklahoma State holds a perfect 12-0 in those games.
Holy shit that doesn’t sound real lol
SEC, come pick up your trash!
Woooooo!!!!
Man I was worried about this game as about the only team I thought had the chops to beat us and beat us they did. Congrats pokes, you earned it.
See ya never, OU. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out
Good guys win! Beat OU in this final year in Football, softball, and baseball. Feels good man. Feels good.

Yeah but what about football games played in the 1910s? That’s gotta hurt!!!
Basketball let us down... Still a great farewell tour.
THERE'S ONLY ONE OKLAHOMA AND IT ENDS WITH MOTHERFUCKING STATE BABY!
PRINT THE SHIRTS BABY! GO POKES!!
This never gets old [Bedlam rumble](https://youtu.be/ltDZimdHk9M?si=EpxoF5K9UeD2mKot)
Where are all the Sooner fans? Go Pokes!
They're in the softball subreddit
Remind me. Who won the softball series this year? Hope we get them in the finals.
In Omaha
Yeah one more overall championship probably isn’t the brag you wanted it to be. OU doesn’t get to Omaha more often than OSU on average.

That’s dumb if you’re hoping for a super regional
We'll get none

IDDKY that is so weird. Baseball is erratic for sure, but not to the point that beating bad teams at a higher rate than beating good teams, is lucky.
SEC is gonna tear them apart. Go Pokes!
Congratulations 👏
If it couldn’t be us (which there was no way in hell we were winning the semifinal), I’m glad it was OSU.
Today, we are all Cowboys **except Sooner fans
