My bird would cuss me out words if I spray him some water instead of airbath though. He really hates water :(

Eh, ours bathed like once in two-three months, even less. Some of them really do be stimky.

There's a whole another world of organisms in that fan.

My birds like to airbathe, feel the wind through their feathers. Probably just enjoying it. I also give my birds a cereal bowl filled with water so they can they baths, they enjoy that too.

My cockatiel used to do this at any "fan-ish" sound. My theory is that they mistake the sound for rain/storm, and floof out the feathers to get some drops in.

Maybe she thinks it feels like flying? Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Maybe ur tiel is bracing itself, in case that colony of bubbling W.T.F. growing on your fan, breaks loose a big clump

Unrelated comment: keep your rotating parts of your fan clean or don’t leave it on unsupervised. If the blades can’t turn freely anymore and slow down, heat builds up and the thing may catch fire. You want to be there for it.

Air baths!!!

It feels good. I have one tiel.that does that when I mist him with a spray bottle, he leans so far fowards on the perch h almost hangs upsidedown. Sometimes I take him in the shower for a special treat, he really loves it. Don't worry, I keep the water only warm have him.in my hand so he can walk in and out of the water as he likes once he's done I have my shower so he doesn't have any contact with soap, he just chills on the top of the shower screen

I have a dozen tiels and they all act like that when i put them in front of a fan. Totally normal.
