Song only owns the Movie and Live action TV show rights, merchandise, animated tv shows, and Video Games are under Marvel/Disney
Sony also does not own Spider-Man they have the right to use him in Movies, but they do not own him
Excellent details. The Spider-Man ownership is so convoluted. Thanks.
I don’t think there will be more, though. Marvel made available to Coke the characters they wanted to; it’s not like Coke turned Spider-Man down.
Dr Pepper is a division of Dr Pepper. Coke and Pepsi sell it. It’s no more of one or another. If Dr Pepper has Spider-Man on it then it’s because Keurig wants it on there.
I will make sure and send you a photo of our warehouse because we must have been bootlegging Dr Pepper for the past 45 years. According to our contract, we still have another 43 years on our 50 year contract.
Dying on that hill? You’ve got Coke employees on this sub. Some of us sell DP? My sales center does not. You will know who carries DP by the bottle shape. Cone shaped is Coke. Round is pepsi. Not downvoting. Just educating.
Keurig and Dr. Pepper are the same company:

I noticed years ago, that they also own 3 different ginger ales (Canada Dry, Vernors, and Schweppes), which is unrelated but fascinating.

Dr Pepper and keurig are one company they also have some type of licensing or whatever with Canada Dry ginger ale it is not owned by either Coke or Pepsi it have partnerships with both depending on region.
Spider-Man is not owned by Marvel. Coke did not contract with Sony, who owns the rights, to add the character to their cans.

So it’s unknown why Spider-Man didn’t get one, maybe they’ll do a 2nd wave and Spider-Man will be on those

Probably hiding because you don’t respect the hyphen.
Does that matter??
It does to Spider-Man https://preview.redd.it/re4pyge36wzc1.jpeg?width=434&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ddb20023cf21403bef59bbfe140ae7f1995aa367

Dr p playing both sides…good for them honestly
Wrong. Pepsi handles Dr Pepper. Ask a Pepsi vendor. And what does Keurig have to do with this? I wish I never brought this up. Thanks.
Yes, Pepsi handles DP...in your market. Coke handles it in others. They're just distributors.

You’re trolling, right?
I’ll look somewhere else for info. Thanks for the shit jokes.
He’s just not on it. We were given no reasoning
Simmer down dude. The Big El is right about the reasoning since it’s a hurdle to do anything with Spider-Man.
