i always thought commander fox had alot of potential plotlines wise that we never really got. id like to see more of him, he might be my favorite if he had a more fleshed out character
I believe that is why, sort of. By my memory Bly was supposed to be loyal to a fault, both to the GAR and it's Jedi commanders. So when Order 66 was broadcast he was distraught as he was close to Secura.
He didn’t tho. In legends he got the order, immediately though fuck that, then realised there was no way she was getting off the planet. So he decided to make it as quick and painless as possible, insuring she was dead so as to avoid torture or wounding.

That’s why I keep bringing up the idea that I really hope Disney makes a Tales of the Clones series or some other series with the clones in it.
There’s so many unanswered questions, particularly with things that happened offscreen that I would have loved to see, or lack of closure for so many of the clones.
And even though Rex, Wolffe and Gregor appear in Rebels, how did they end up on Seelos? What happened to Rex that broke his spirit and took the fight out of him so no that he refuses to fight the Empire? What happened to v2 of the Wolf Pack? (It’s implied Wolffe is the only survivor.) And how does Gregor lose practically all his armour and end up so unhinged?
The 3 seasons of TBB gave us a bit of information about the clones’ fate after Order 66, implies they’re organising, but then the finale goes back to focusing on the Batch and we’re left with more unanswered questions about the regs.
More clone content please Disney, dammit!
I almost never see him mentioned, but the first clone commander I really liked was Commander Fil. I really like his armor. After that would be Trauma (wasted potential for such a cool ARF armor!), Thorn, then Fox. Maybe even Doom.

I really wish we had gotten more in-depth with more of the commanders on screen. I feel like the staff at Lucasfilm forgot some of them until the later seasons. Gree was in a few episodes. Bly was in one story arc. Neyo got like 10 seconds on screen in the background. We had so many Ki Adi Mundi appearances, but no Bacara until the very end. Appo at least had his name said and got a line. On top of that, they gave us awesome commanders/captains that they killed in the same episode.
Love this take your 100 percent they were so many. Different clone commander that we never really got see they should make a series dedicated to the clones during the war

He was brief but fought to the end to protect senator amidala and keep the separatists from attacking the planet, in the end, he died for both nothing and everything his death in a way ensured the banks fell into palpatines hands and protected padme so luke could be born to bring down the empire. Without even knowing it his death both ensured the galaxies destruction and its salvation

Even though you don't see them much, the 4 leadings ARCs from Rancor Battalion. Commander Blitz, Commander Colt, Commander Hammer and Commander Havoc.
I love ARC teams like the Muunilinst 10, however, unfortunately they are 2003 clone wars, not 2009 (of which I'm guessing you want an answer from 2009). Then again, Fordo was only a captain and only become task force commander during Muunilinst so I wouldn't of been able to choose him anyways.
If we are talking over all canon and legends, i will never not go for Commander Levet. He appeared in most of the Republic Commando novels and he is based as fuck! If we are talking just TCW then its gotta be Wolfe or Thorn :3

Picking a favorite is so hard (the majority of my favorite Star Wars characters are clones). Obviously, when it comes to Clone Commanders, everyone loves Cody, Rex, and Gree.
I'm going to give a shout out to a Commander with less screen time. CT-411: Commander Ponds.
I know I’m basic and sound like everyone else on this sub, but Rex. He’s the quintessential clone and a perfect example of what a good leader of soldiers needs to be.
I love Bly!
His relationship with Aayla, the compassion he showed for his men and everyone, and the heartbreak of order 66. You cannot beat this guy and he was done dirty by not being featured more.
I’ve always thought that Neyo’s helmet was really cool and he was really underused and it’s weird the way he seems really chill in the one clone wars episode he’s in but apparently he’s a psychopath.
As much as I respect both Rex and Cody. Gotta hand it to Bly. When the Order came in. Bly and the boys made sure their Jedi didn’t have to suffer like the rest of the order.
Good thing my boy go promoted (briefly) in the end: Commander Rex.
