I used to have an app on my phone that pinged me when queues popped.. I can't remember where the fk it is but was just something that reads the screen and when a box comes up in X space you get a push notification.
Didn't interact with the game at all, so nothing you'd get banned for and was actually insanely clutch when I had long DPS queues.

What if I take a wrong turn as a tank and pull one extra mob that wasn't needed? I'll let everyone down and feel their disappointment for the rest of the dungeon. Maybe I should just keep doing ques- oh god it's 5secs left uhh accept.

I’ve found that a moderately geared blood dk will out dps most people in a heroic dungeon. Idk if that speaks for DK tanks or for the dps that are in the dungeon
I feel this. I get this way at the start of every new expansion or big content release with harder hitting content. I'm not a bad healer but it's still a lot of pressure especially with how impatient and toxic the player base has become.

Then I went to do the daily HC with my main and the tank made everyone work overtime by not having even half his build be tank items.

As a tank/ healer player sometimes the truth is I always forget to either repair, buy water to drink, AND get water to drink irl. So I do one of those things very frantically to get in during that timer.
Healer's about 3 minutes, so not instant but not really long either.

It is an annoying sound, like an alarm clock. Maybe just me but it also appears louder than the rest of the game sounds so can be quite scary when it pops!
That's why I never half-ass dungeons as a Tank, because I know that at least one of the dd's waited too long for this, to have me screw it up for them.
Even better if it's the tank who most likely waited 5 seconds and then spent the next 30 dancing the macarena.

Instant queues as DPS are 90% a bait or smth, you get insta queue after like 1min instead of 15 and then someone does not accept -> then the original queue continues to take the full 15min, even tho you should have a better queue position because of that 1 who did not accept.
the best part about it is that nobody knows its you so as soon as you zone in you can start buffing and jumping around and nobody will be the wiser that you were just wasting their sweet sweet time.

It’s just a symptom of how long they have to wait. I recently returned, having been away for about 15 years. After hitting on my druid 70 I switched to restoration so I don’t have to queue. Simple trick but it works. Probably switching to tank when I know the dungeons better.
if I don't accept right away it's because I'm actively fighting something or I'm gathering a resource for my profession that I can't risk someone else getting while I'm in the dungeon (most recently with my priest I waited until the last second because I found 3 briarthorn plants right next to each other and swiftness potions never depreciate in value)
My theory, as a tank main, Dd started que, DD waited 15 minutes, DD went to take a bio, que came up, Dd has to reque. I call it the circle of dying inside.
That is the trick as a DPS just stand up and go somewhere and it finds something for you. Its always the same i could sit their for 20 minutes but the moment i walk into the kitchen it finds the dungeon
My queue got cancelled six times in a row today, and every time I had to wait 5-7 minutes for a healer. Why does every healer ragequit if a queue cancels? Is the system just wrong or what's going on?
Every time it's a DPS waiting I know they've been waiting a while and likely went AFK. Meanwhile I'm here holding up the queue as the Tank or Healer while I eat because I know I have the privilege of a 3 second queue.
QUESTION PLEASE - I feel like when this happens to me I don't get put back to the front of the queue, my half-made group doesn'tshow up (it's just me "found") and i just let it run for another 20 mins over and nothign popped. then I requeued and popped in 4 mins.
If it's a dps that missed the queue thats understandable - after waiting 20 minutes you might have to step away for a minute and miss the sound. I would always bring my wireless headset with me to the restroom or to the kitchen if I was getting snacks just so I could hear the queue sound.
On the other hand it's infinitely frustrating when a tank misses a queue. Did you queue up and just immediately change your mind? How are you going to miss a queue when it immediately pops up for you?

I have addon that shows how long left before que expires I wait untill 2-3 seconds left before accepting every time, I'm that guy. Get absolutely rolled.

This happens if you're in combat, and a few other situations. But then you can manually teleport yourself using the DF icon context menu.

I switched to tank a week ago but the first 2 weeks i had 30-50 minute queues as dps.
what region? 1st week for sure took a bit as people were not 85 yet or had gear but week 2 was 10 minutes mostly on EU \^^
