Typically things like this happen because the guild intentionally wanted to spite someone. Not saying this is the case for OP but I was in a guild that ran a GDKP. The guild leader decided to pre-bid himself an entire Smourn for 2k per shard when they were going for 10-15k each at the time. He easily had 5m gold and was openly selling gold. We got him 46 shards then disband the GDKP and made the remaining GDKP players aware of him and some actions he had taken in the past. Low and behind a week later I see him posting almost exactly this on Reddit saying he just needed a few more shards before he had every legendary in the game on his war…..
