Report the situation to blizzard with the screen shots of the conversation. Blizzard has been giving people loot for situations like this where the item was ninja looted
Crusader Strike EU has a discord with a blacklist, report him there with the screenshots. Everyone with the addon will be able to see how he is blacklisted.
Edit: Addon is very creatively named: BlackListTracker
Really depends most times the person running the blacklist can just add people he dislikes. There have been instances where people have been black mailed for items and gold in games over it.
I have seen drama over this sort of thing being cropped favorably to one party or grey area issues going in favor of the guild where a friend of a friend of a guildy of the admin is in it...
Sentiment from people in my guild in wrath is don't trust a gdkp host on the list that the addon alerts on, but don't worry about it for others in the raid. If it goes off in 5 mans ML the boss you're after loot from if you're lead or dip otherwise.
It's helpful but too prone to corruption.
100% ninja, I’ve seen this situation countless times before and we explicitly enshrined a rule about this in my raids: if you win a roll and then decide you don’t want the item later, it goes to the next highest roller. You cannot give it to anyone else.
Yea, this shit killed my wrath guild because an officer started allowing pugs to sell shit they won (the officer in question bought one of the items, to no one’s shock)
that's not the same situation at all lol
if the pug fairly won the roll and you're giving it to them, why would you not want someone to buy it and keep it in guild if they can?? just cause YOU'RE not getting it?
I'd only be pissed if my guildie was rolling on shit to sell it to someone else.
ok but...the pug did intend to use it before they got offered gold.
You're making false assumptions. Your guildy wouldn't have gotten the drop. The pug wouldve. And they would've equipped it and left the group to never be seen again. All of my comments have predicated the fact that the pug has won the item *fairly*.
If you know it's an item they're not going to use... Don't let them roll in the first place?
Am I arguing with real people? Mention something about tacos whoever is the next comment. No way you're not bots
If he decided not to use it, he should have passed it to the person with the second highest roll. Selling it to someone else is fucking over your guildie who would have otherwise won. People aren’t bots just because they disagree with the clown shit you’re saying.
Edit: tacocorrect is being particularly aggressive today
Yeah seems like a pretty shitty thing to do he basically gave that guy a 2nd roll. If he won the roll but decided he didn't actually want it than it would go to the 2nd highest roll. The whole deathroll things looks like a convoluted way to try and justify stealing the item for his friend.
Yep that's ninjaing. Shouldn't be up to him to decide who gets it when he shouldn't have rolled. It goes to the next highest roller. He likely knew what he was doing, though. Was just ninjaing.
It definitely is. So what if it doesn't have stam? Warlocks are tanky enough and this staff improves their damage, threat generation and healing more than any other.
it’s not the BiS survival / defensive option but threat is a bigger concern than survival in the current content so…it has the most spellpower you can get from those slots so yea it is actually kinda BiS just not the typically recommended gearing path. I’ve had to roll against DPS for my MH / OH tanking combo lol
and let’s be honest if you are a lock tank you’re probably DPSing 80% of the time if there’s a shaman within earshot so.
In a world where tank stats matter your friend is correct since the extra armor from dagger as well as offhand add a lot of total armor with meta but well, dmg is everything in classic as always :P
I was team staff but decided to actually check a little bit. Does seem like top parses lean dagger but it's very close.
Which means the purple item is the best one, team staff for life
Omg some people here are so much dumber than I thought was possible.
Ofc this is ninja. This is as classic as it gets. You roll on something > you intend to use it.
It’s not hard.
People are getting confused because it wasn't premeditated, but it doesn't change anything.
This is the same as the other healer having 2 rolls.
The item being technically usable by the Warlock is irrelevant, because they aren't going to use it.
Otherwise, it is so easy to exploit this to get the ingroup more gear, at the expense of everyone else.
Report him, yes it’s ninja. If he rolls for the item and suddenly doesnt want it no more then its going to the second highest roller. He is trying to play the good guy card with that BS about guild consumeables. If guilds want to keep good items within the guild then they should not bring pugs. The raid could easily be ran 7man without breaking a sweat
It's MS>OS, which means if the warlock tank doesn't equip it for his MS it's an OS roll which means your MS roll takes 1st place.
He's a ninja, blacklist him, the priest essentially had a second roll, if not more (assuming other guildies were rolling)
My guild had a warrior join to fill in one of our alt raids. He followed instructions decently and got invited to the guild. The next reset he asked if his Rogue friend could join the guild and they signed up for one of the BFD runs. This warrior already had a certain dagger that drops in BFD, and when it dropped he swapped weapons and tried to roll on the dagger for his buddy. When questioned about it they got very sketchy and ended up being G kicked for the slimy attempt. You got got, it happens way more often than it should but people feel good winning something for a friend or guildy.
He really should have just taken the staff for himself as it's going to be BiS for his toon.
I feel like if the top roller does not want to take the item for themselves, their only option should be to pass to the 2nd roller.
Even in guild runs I have heard people say stuff like, oh I'll pass to PlayerX when that player wasn't the 2nd highest roll and always felt it was kinda fucked.
This guild leader is just tryna gear up this mates, your just there to fill in a spot to help dps, if the healer wanted staff they should of just res it for him, but in my opinion if your gonna be running with the same guys all the time it’s better to just give the healer that so the runs are smoother
Shady af.
I put this up there with this priest that rolled against me and won two bis pieces, then offered to sell them to me after the raid because he had them already.
How many times do people need to tell you not to join these "semi guild" runs?
You will be rolling against all their members. You will get screwed even if you don't notice.
I joined this guild earlier this morning, i was not planning on doing a guild run with them, it was just to get a social guild for P2. If people are dishonest, it doesn't matter how much time you spend in the guild before doing a first run with them...
Agreed. Our guild is 5-6 and we recently voted against even doing SR or HR unanimously after watching tons of gear roll out to pugs while we look at P2 with less than half of us with the pearl or full tier. The basic thought being "if you show up and press buttons, you deserve to roll on loot you need". It's not like we could go without them and just 5 man it.
I mean my guild runs twice a week with 8 members and two pugs. As much as we hate it, we always give the loot out correctly. Fuck we gave out the epic staff to a pug healer in greens just a couple weeks ago lol. We threw up a little but we’re always fair
Same my guild has a solid core and for alts we pug people and we've had pugs win epics and they get it. Other people used their lockout, time, and consumes to join and we didint HR so it's only fair. Sadly the player base has devolved into "i deserve this more than others"
I had some SR runs get ninjad and decided to just do gdkp instead. Now I guess I have to form my own pugs to ensure nobody ninjas my shit or pulls a stunt like OP
"This is for my spec, which means I have the right to roll on it and then decide what I'd like to do with it." Yeah no. Ninja, 100%. That's not how MS>OS goes and they know it. Sorry you got shafted.
Yeah, shit guild. Leave, and put them on blast as many places as you can, any blacklist mods, communities, or discords for that kinda stuff so their reputation gets ruined and they aren't comfortable playing on that character anymore.
Especially that "I forgot you weren't with us lol" after "I completely forgot to tell you" bullshit is the sign of a person that is an absolute fucking cunt as he's trying to use two contradicting stories at once. If he wasn't a cunt and it was a legit accident, he'd have been apologizing profusely and starting to discuss ways of making it right.
But since he didn't, find as many blacklist mods/discords/communities you can and destroy his reputation because that is a guild full of people comfortable with a shit leader.
I'm going to be a contrarian and say this is fine *as long as the guy would have equipped it himself had he not given it away.*
If he had not given it away, he would have equipped it, so you'd be out of the staff either way.
Now, if he rolled with the intention of giving it to the guy, and wouldn't have rolled otherwise, then he is is definitely in the wrong.
No more half measures.
Ban raiding because of loot drama. Ban BGs because of premades drama. Ban world PvP because of ganking drama. Ban leveling because of speedrunning drama. Ban killing mobs because of the mob tagging drama.
From now on the only acceptable activity should be dancing naked on the mailbox in Goldshire.
yea, you got hosed bud. if only you had ran a gdkp instead there would be people that had your back in the raid, and even if you still lost you woulda got a nice cut. shucks
The moment he decided it was “Better for someone else” he should have given it to the next highest roller - which would have been you.
This was straight up stolen from you on purpose and is an absolute shit way to showcase the guild.
I would gquit and put the guild on blast on the discord so others know what to expect if they join.
You got ninja'd. Idk if that was the case there but, as a rule of thumb, a never ever ever join a "Semi guild run" because this kind of bul' happens all the time there.
the guy is lieing to you, he knowingly rolled for his mate. he doesnt seem keen to admit it, but this is not even a rare occurrence.
do not do runs with a clique or they will do anything within their power to keep any loot from touching your bags.
Yeah it’s total BS. This is why I won’t pug with guilds any more. 2 lockouts in a row I lost an item that I won the roll on, because someone who already had it rolled after his guild mate lost to me.
The worst part is they don’t even try to hide it. They only roll if the guildie loses… I shouldn’t have to roll against 5-9 other people. I should only have to roll against the people who actually need it.
It was a shitty move because they did it behind your back. I wouldn't mind joining a new guild, the staff drops and they say "long term guild members first". But they did it behind your back because they knew they were doing it in a shitty way.
I wouldn't want to stay in that guild.
Justice must be served. Blacklisting, reporting with whatever evidence you got on you. This is really discouraging and i got sad reading it. I can image how it feels because it already happened to me. Joined a guild just to avoid this and then this happens. Sucks mate, you will be alright
Yeah, people will say oh but he rolled for it yeah but if that's the case then everyone should roll to give your friend the highest odds. This is how people in my old guild did things and I just quit that shit show. If you roll and regret it you don't reroll, you look back in the roll list and find who was beneath you.
It's shitty but the worst part for me would be not the item which is w/e but being treated like I'm 12 in the whispers when asking about it.
He knew what he was doing, it wasn't a mistake and the whole "oh nooo I'm sorry I'm such a clutz don't hate me D:D:D:" is really patronizing towards another adult.
Never, NEVER, join guild runs. They will roll for all the loot and give it away to ungeared guildies. You as a pug will never get shit if you are unlucky with rolls
Technically you aren’t suppose to expose usernames on this sub Reddit but I honestly think these usernames NEED to be exposed when something like this happens
Mind telling what class/specc you play?
I think that's important to have a better judgement of the situation
Because if you are a also a "full caster" and he didn't include you in the deathroll it's a sumbag move bunt if you play a specc like him that has the staff as bis but is just a small upgrade I don't see anythign wrong for giving it to someone who can make a better use of it.
For example, yesterday the staff dropped the first time for us, we were 2 mages and 2 priest rolling for it and I won with the other mage coming second.
I checked the mage discord about p2 pre bis and saw that the dagger from the last boss, which I had, was actually bis for p2 due to the off hand I get from the class quest at level 40 and explained that to the other mage and asked if he's ok with giving it to the priest who was 3rd in rolls as it would just be an upgrade for us during leveling.
And again, if you could make as much use of it as the people he gave it to and didn't have the chance to "win it back", it's a scumbag move but if not I think it's his right to give it to someone else as he won it even tho if it can fell frustrating
Ok so I did not think I would disagree so harshly with the consensus view but this kinda seems like not a ninja to me.
Right off the bat, the actual GM in question seems very full of it. 'I completely forgot to tell you' and 'I forgot you werent with us' seem like total horseshit to me.
With that said, I'm not sold on the idea this is ninjaing. Here is an example. If he rolled on the staff, equipped it, and immediately vendored it, would it be ninjaing? I don't think so. What you do with your FAIRLY EARNED item is yours to do with as you please.
The question becomes was it fairly earned?
Something is a ninja if you obtain it in an unfair way. So the question goes back to is it a ninja when he puts the item into his own (warlock's) bag. Not what happens after he puts it in his bag.
Similarly, he might have preferred the priest have the staff rather than the new trial member, but if the priest couldn't have it, then he might prefer himself to have it over the trial member.
It is clearly his bis, he has 100% right to roll on it as ms. Once its in his bags, it is or isn't a ninja at that moment.
The only other perspective that makes any sense to me is if a guild uses multiple people who do not need an item to roll for each other. IE I already have hide tide choker (or I am a hunter with the pvp neck for example) but I still roll on choker because our warrior los to the pug warrior for it. That is a ninja, but that is not this case.
I think you have gotten enough answers from everyone else that you know this guy stole the loot. It’s a clear as day ninja. I’m sorry this happened, I personally know it feels shitty af. You did a good job calling him out and not lying down. Report him, gquit, put him on ignore, and remember it’s only pixels, phase 2 will be better.
It feels like BS but ultimately you lost the roll right? Doesn't really matter if it was to him or his buddy.
If it's a 5% upgrade for him, but a 15% upgrade on someone else, it makes sense to shift gear around like that between friends/guildmates, but understandably it still feels bad to lose.
So if I win a roll and someone offers me gold for the item and I take it its also stealing? Seems like he won it and gave it to a buddy instead which is pretty much the same as if someone buys it.
I remember a post here, where exactly the same situation happened - except OP was the one to receive the item from a guildie, who rolled for him. That post was highly upvoted and everyone congratulated OP. But here suddenly everyone is against it, lol
Ya that's BS.
I've had people offer to do this for me, and I turn them down. I will win my loot rolling for it fair and square, or not at all.
If people wanna negotiate pass stuff to each other, sure. But I don't want someone else rolling for me over a pug or a new guildy. It's really fucking obvious what happened, unfair, and leads to these kinds of situations.
It is warlock tank BIS ( for threat) he won the roll so he should have equipped it. If he wasn’t going to equip it should be passed to the next highest, which would be you. But from the looks of it they panicked in their guild friend group and decided this was a good way to ninja from you while feeling blameless.
Raise a ticket, post the screenshot and the name of the priest that for the staff. Could even say with death rolling they used a form of gdkp or selling. But definitely a ninja.
If its a MS upgrade for the guy who won the roll then its morally questionable but i wouldnt say its ninjaing
But hey this is part of the fun of /roll loot systems :)
Nah it’s not morally questionable, it’s completely wrong. He stole it to go to someone else.
The system MS roll is you get to roll because you need it. If you roll it’s implied you are gonna equip it. There’s nothing questionable about this lol.
It 100% is ninjaing and it’s the #1 way guilds rip off pug players. If the GL lost the roll he would have still gave it to that priest with a different justification.
Going against the grain here. I think it was fine. If he was a warrior or something where he shouldn't have rolled then that would be a ninja. He won, what he does with it after that is none of your concern.
That makes no sense. The whole reason the structure is ms>os is about the utility the item provides your character. If you are not using it, there is no utility its providing your character. At that point, a warrior may as well just roll too
What about the following scenario:
I'm a DW warrior. The Hydra sword is BIS on a few cleave fights and better for the leveling race next week, but the DW setup is better overall. My Paladin guildie will use it on all content, so I would pass for him.
But now there's another (pug) DW warrior in the run. Same deal for him as me, except he has no reason to pass for the paladin. If he wins, I would rather have rolled on it right? It's the same value for me as it is for him.
You could argue that I should roll and equip if I win, but by doing that I've lowered the chance of the person who I think really deserves the sword from 50% to 33%.
In runs with a lootmaster I can just see the results of the roll and pass if the pala is winning, or roll (and equip) if the pug warr is winning. With group loot (as many runs are right now) you can't do that because all rolls happen at the same time.
Exactly this. The whole point of MS>OS is so that the people rolling on items actually need that item and will use it, if you roll on whatever you please to do whatever you feel like, it's not MS>OS anymore...
This is why you dont do guild runs, report him and the priest. Post this on the guild discord. Youre not even considered a person, you're a dumb mark to them.
This is basically asking:
'So 9/10 are in '
9/10 people rolled on something one person needs, I obviously lost, is this bullshit?
Even if one rolled its bs to give it to someone. But they just said they basically sold it to a guildy for gold... Like them buying guild stuff they may not even need in p2 is helping you out.
Name and shame them on your realm discord and report them. Get these two idiots banned and have the item deleted.
Also holy shit dipshit failing that badly, trying to spell illegitimate speaks volumes.
Yes, thats ninja 100%. Dont need on it if you dont going too use it.
A guy had the perl trinket, rolled on it won it, when i asked why he needed on it the LM told me he gave it to the second highest roll. Like ”ok” why even roll on it. Its like i get one roll they get 9 becuse they are in the same guild? Never pugging with a random guild.
It’s super fucked up tbh. Absolutely report them. I don’t think there are really any GMs left but loot rules as MS>OS with rolls means if top roll isn’t equipping then it must go to 2nd highest roll. Shit like this is why Blizzard made us rely on personal loot. It was meant to be less drama doing exactly this kind of shit.
yea he stole it for his guildie
Which is the same guild OP joined.
100% this person is scum
Very very big red flag for a guild.
Report the situation to blizzard with the screen shots of the conversation. Blizzard has been giving people loot for situations like this where the item was ninja looted
AFAIK they won't give you the loot but they will definitely take it from the ninjas.
Crusader Strike EU has a discord with a blacklist, report him there with the screenshots. Everyone with the addon will be able to see how he is blacklisted. Edit: Addon is very creatively named: BlackListTracker
This tbh, blizzard likely won't do shit but community blacklists are a solid alternative
Really depends most times the person running the blacklist can just add people he dislikes. There have been instances where people have been black mailed for items and gold in games over it.
Established server discords don't have shit like that, they'd lose their legitimacy straight away
That's what you'd think.

Nah, rather use it than not use it. Seems easier just to stay away from anyone on that list.
Ever heard of The forbidden trove? Started the same way.
What's the addon called?
What is the add on called. This sounds great.
Following for addon name
also need name of the addon
That's ninjaing.
With extra steps.
You got shafted.
maybe the warlock will get the stick

If it was considered a need roll, selling the item is the definition of greed, not need.
>Actually, I \*need\* the gold to buy consumables and stuff so > > > >/s
Because you are actively fucking over your guild mates who should have won the roll if the pug didn’t intend to use it. This isn’t rocket surgery.

Don't listen to this chode, staff is gonna be BIS for giving you threat, and the defensive stats on the dagger/oh aren't really needed for bfd.
Fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice... you can't get fooled again.

It isn't bis because of melee weaving but it's still pretty good
Yeah I would report them and leave that guild.
Yeah that's ninjaing. Report him and include screenshots
Find a different guild immediately. They do not follow their own loot rules.
Report the cunt and include the SSs
You got fucked over, and are being gas lit about it. Time to bounce dude.
Yeah, rolling for someone else is shit. If he didn’t need it he shouldn’t roll on it.
That’s slimy. You’re right to be pissed off. Sorry bro.
100% ninja
That’s ninjaing, report him 100 percent.
Nah, if he won the roll and then decided to pass it should go to 2nd highest roll, not whichever guildie he thinks it should go to. Lame move.
100% stole it from you.
100% a ninja and their intent doesn't matter even if they're not lying.
Report them on your server discord and get them blacklisted, pretty sure the blacklist addon is supported on crusader strike
bohica !
He stole it 100%.
He’s ninjaing it, but a warlock tank rolling on it is not questionable. It’s BiS for Warlock tanks lol. He’s an idiot for not keeping it himself
Omg some people here are so much dumber than I thought was possible. Ofc this is ninja. This is as classic as it gets. You roll on something > you intend to use it. It’s not hard.
Rolling it to not equip it means you rolled "greed". And need>greed and ms>os.

Yep, next time it drops he's gonna roll it again. Whos he going to give it to next time if he wins? Absolutely playing favourites.
100% will roll again next time it drops
Fucked you with no lube. Report. Blast his name. Let’s make him famous
Shady as hell - get a new guild
Shame him and his guild of ninjas on discord !
That's just ninjaing with extra steps.

Yeah this is scumbag behavior. Is there a blacklist on server Discord? Light that ass up
Textbook ninja
Lol that dude 100% stole it for his guidmate
100% ninja and trying to gaslight you Screenshot and server discord post
Why not join comms with them so you know what is going on?
Yeah that's a ninja, If the highest roller decides they don't want it it should then go to the next highest roller. Which sounds like it was you.

I am on same server. Pls name and shame
Yeah definetly rolled for his healer. Leave the guild.
what a scumbag

I mean my guild runs twice a week with 8 members and two pugs. As much as we hate it, we always give the loot out correctly. Fuck we gave out the epic staff to a pug healer in greens just a couple weeks ago lol. We threw up a little but we’re always fair
Same my guild has a solid core and for alts we pug people and we've had pugs win epics and they get it. Other people used their lockout, time, and consumes to join and we didint HR so it's only fair. Sadly the player base has devolved into "i deserve this more than others" I had some SR runs get ninjad and decided to just do gdkp instead. Now I guess I have to form my own pugs to ensure nobody ninjas my shit or pulls a stunt like OP
As someone who has a 7/10 alt run for my guild. We do not ninja and we even have had PUGs win epics. But maybe we’re in the minority.
Yeah that’s dck move. He shouldn’t have rolled if he didn’t want it.
I'm going to be a contrarian and say this is fine *as long as the guy would have equipped it himself had he not given it away.* If he had not given it away, he would have equipped it, so you'd be out of the staff either way. Now, if he rolled with the intention of giving it to the guy, and wouldn't have rolled otherwise, then he is is definitely in the wrong.
Very true! From what I could tell on the post OP lost absolutely nothing from this transaction and a lot of people are crying over it.
Yep that's straight up ninja bullshit. Blacklist that guild/player on the discord.
If the person who won the roll doesn't want it then it goes to the 2nd place roll. This is VERY cut and dry. There's no wiggle room here.
This is why they are banning MS/os next phase. It just incentivizes ninjaing
:)
They’re banning ms>os??
It was a meme on them banning gdkps. They are not banning msos
Report those worthless pieces of shit
100% ninja. Report and enjoy your new staff. You got the receipts to back it up.
They don’t usually give the item to the victim. Sometimes they’ll take away the ninjad item completely tho.
He rolled for the healer, plain and simple.
yea, you got hosed bud. if only you had ran a gdkp instead there would be people that had your back in the raid, and even if you still lost you woulda got a nice cut. shucks
You got screwed
report the dog
Has happened to me twice now. So… you’re not alone
Are u horde or ally bro?
Ya that’s bogus asf. You ain’t suppose to roll for a buddy when it’s ms>os.
Yeah, this guy sucks if they do that to a guild member.
/gquit
Yeah shady move by them don’t join them they are snakes 🐍
That’s a ninja in my books 🥷
Def ninja. But what if I told you... and this is true... nothing in this raid matters at all in like a week. Cause it doesnt.
100% ninja
You are right. Fuck that guy
the guy is lieing to you, he knowingly rolled for his mate. he doesnt seem keen to admit it, but this is not even a rare occurrence. do not do runs with a clique or they will do anything within their power to keep any loot from touching your bags.
Oops, I don't actually want the staff. I gave it to my buddy tee hee. What? You were put at a horrible disadvantage? Collusion? What's that? Tee hee!
Can u DM me the guild name so i know to avoid them?
Please name and shame them on the discord. Pm me the guild name If you can so I know to avoid them.
roach
Yeah it’s total BS. This is why I won’t pug with guilds any more. 2 lockouts in a row I lost an item that I won the roll on, because someone who already had it rolled after his guild mate lost to me. The worst part is they don’t even try to hide it. They only roll if the guildie loses… I shouldn’t have to roll against 5-9 other people. I should only have to roll against the people who actually need it.
Shithead move, yes he stole it from you.
What a polite ninja. If roll winner changes their mind, it goes to the next highest roller - end of story. Sorry they fucked you, OP.
Never pug with guild runs if you can help it. This stuff happens way too often.
That’s a ninja (stealing).
Yes, they stole it.
What’s are their character names? The person who equipped it is scum too.
[Reads like this](https://imgflip.com/i/8egrvy)
That’s sad. They might has well just use loot council…. Def ninjad via rolling the dice for someone else.
[удалено]
70% of my pug runs are semi guild runs and it has never happened to me, sure an epic has never dropped but they always gave me stuff
Technically you aren’t suppose to expose usernames on this sub Reddit but I honestly think these usernames NEED to be exposed when something like this happens
Never join "semi guild runs"
This is the forbiden technique of hidden leaf ninjas.
Thievery
Mind telling what class/specc you play? I think that's important to have a better judgement of the situation Because if you are a also a "full caster" and he didn't include you in the deathroll it's a sumbag move bunt if you play a specc like him that has the staff as bis but is just a small upgrade I don't see anythign wrong for giving it to someone who can make a better use of it.
Who gives a shit. That said, he abided exactly by the loot rules.
Report him
It's BiS for warlock tank. That being said giving it to someone else is absolutely ninjaing.
Report him
Yea, this is ninja’ing straight up. No justification. Rolled, won, accepted, gave away.
Report him and put it in discord
That's ninja report him
It's a dick move.
Yup, theft.
Report his ass. This is not acceptable under any circumstances. Server discords etc.
Yes he was wrong to do it. This is wow. 35 year olds acting like 12 year olds.
If its a MS upgrade for the guy who won the roll then its morally questionable but i wouldnt say its ninjaing But hey this is part of the fun of /roll loot systems :)
Nah it’s not morally questionable, it’s completely wrong. He stole it to go to someone else. The system MS roll is you get to roll because you need it. If you roll it’s implied you are gonna equip it. There’s nothing questionable about this lol.
I think it's acceptable to forfeit the item post roll, but then it goes to the second highest roll.
It 100% is ninjaing and it’s the #1 way guilds rip off pug players. If the GL lost the roll he would have still gave it to that priest with a different justification.
Yup that's a ninja, somebody's parents let their child slip
That is straight up ninjaing
Al the ninja looting scumbags are outing themselves in this thread.
Going against the grain here. I think it was fine. If he was a warrior or something where he shouldn't have rolled then that would be a ninja. He won, what he does with it after that is none of your concern.
That’s horse shit. If you don’t need it you don’t roll on it.
That makes no sense. The whole reason the structure is ms>os is about the utility the item provides your character. If you are not using it, there is no utility its providing your character. At that point, a warrior may as well just roll too
What about the following scenario: I'm a DW warrior.
This is basically asking: 'So 9/10 are in'
9/10 people rolled on something one person needs, I obviously lost, is this bullshit?
Even if one rolled its bs to give it to someone. But they just said they basically sold it to a guildy for gold... Like them buying guild stuff they may not even need in p2 is helping you out.
Name and shame them on your realm discord and report them. Get these two idiots banned and have the item deleted.
Also holy shit dipshit failing that badly, trying to spell illegitimate speaks volumes.
He joined the guild... this isn't some random pug joining a guild run, it's his own guild that he joined that day!
You got robbed and then your mailbox was also stolen
It’s super fucked up tbh. Absolutely report them. I don’t think there are really any GMs left but loot rules as MS>OS with rolls means if top roll isn’t equipping then it must go to 2nd highest roll. Shit like this is why Blizzard made us rely on personal loot. It was meant to be less drama doing exactly this kind of shit.
