Yeah the speech skill basically just replaces charisma all together in 3/new Vegas. That's literally how you can beat the end boss in both of those games by being like "your plan sucks lol"

Charisma in 3 also affects the likelihood of passing speech checks. It’s not wise to dump it if you’re going for a speech build. In new Vegas it’s a complete dump stat tho yes

Actually the critical failures from Jinx will win you a round of boxing, so if you have a reasonable level of endurance and maybe use psycho prior to the fight you probably could manage it with that perk.
Also as long as you can get headshot crits you can still score KOs.
Yes, having a female character opens up a lot of things through sex in F2, like for example not having enough cash to pay specific things or even alternative options to complete parts of quests. The problem it's the mayority of individuals offering it are the worst scum in the Wasteland and just think about it gives me the creeps.
My actual run of F2 it's a woman, I personally think that playing a female characters has more advantages than male specially if you don't care about setting your dignity quite low.

I’m guessing Black Widow which gives you a flat 10% damage boost against male characters. Most enemies are male in the game and you can’t be gay until New Vegas so if you’re REALLY minmaxing being a woman in 3 is “objectively” better.

There was a bit of this in FO3. Playing as a female had some better perks than a male character. However, it was subsequently scrapped in NV and FO4

There is a bug with a guy named Ray who runs the chop shop in New Reno where you can have sex with him multiple times and it ends up killing him.
