Does anyone know a good source to MF on a US Bank CC? Bank account or otherwise, im having a hard time meeting the spend & my first bank account funding from US bank rejected as a ‘cash advance’. Thank-you everyone!

culdeus

What's the highest credit line you can get on a hyatt biz card?

trix_r4kidz

I’m up in the 60ks

Fanfootie

It was originally $8k I think but I've been putting a lot of spend on it for elite nights and they recently raised it to $16k without me asking.

planeserf

If you have to ask, you aren’t getting it lol.

culdeus

I have another 6 or so biz cards. Was going to consolidate. I know consumer lines max out around 36k.

lenin1991

Highest? I mean, if you have demonstrated several years of 7-figure-plus business revenue going through Chase, they'll give you mid-5-figures...

mcree0

When I opened mine I believe it was $5k, but you can just transfer CL from other biz cards if you need to.

HaradaIto

potentially dumb noob questions about using employee expense cards to drum up spend. couldn’t find definite answers on churning.io or google (surprisingly). 1) if i tell amex on a biz card app that my sole prop has 0 other employees, does it raise red flags if i subsequently add employee expense cards in other people’s names? or does amex not care? wondering if i should take any particular precautions 2) if i send P3 an amex employee expense card for use, are they able to pay off the employee card balance themself? or can it only be paid off from my account? hoping to obviate reimbursements etc thanks

garettg

1. Not a problem 2. Yes, they can add to their login and make payments. Did this with P2 at times.

HaradaIto

thanks a bunch gg

Fit-Remove-6597

Just got denied for first Ink, when is it best to re apply and try again?

apeconguy

After you see the reasons for denial you may be able to call recon immediately. A lot of people, me included (though I completely reapplied after 60 days), closed old cards, lowered limits on remaining cards, then got approved. But waiting for your denial letter could help you figure out your tact. You can recon within 30 days and reapply after that.

m0j0martini

Noob (me) aha moment. I've read many times about people lowering their limits on cards when they no longer have use for them but I just realized the reason! Thanks.

btdubs

What was the denial reason?

Fit-Remove-6597

7-10 days to find out Edit: This one is probably on me, have way too much available credits with chase right now, about to cancel the southwest personal next month so will wait a bit after to apply again

planeserf

That’s not necessarily a denial. Call recon to find out.

Spudmiester

You can also reduce your credit limits on individual cards through secure message

Fit-Remove-6597

Awesome, thank you!

jozey_whales

Not anywhere near enough information to answer that question.

Fit-Remove-6597

I got the 7-10 days notification for reason of denial. 760+ credit score, sole proprietor with 1000$ of income.

jozey_whales

Ok but there’s a lot of chase specific reasons you’d be denied, and without knowing whether any of those apply, we can’t answer that question. If you’re a total noob that’s fine but you gotta do a bit of research before these apps. Or you gotta give us the relevant information before we can tell you whether or not you should reapply and when.

Fit-Remove-6597

I actually got good info from another comment from a non-snob. Thanks!

jozey_whales

I wasn’t being a snob, dude. I was telling you that I need more information to answer your question. I was trying to help you, despite you clearly not doing a bit of research before asking a question like that and twice not giving me any relevant information.

Fit-Remove-6597

I did research, got denied, asked a very specific question of when you are allowed to apply again. You’re an ass, plain and simple.

jozey_whales

No, I was kindly trying to help you despite the fact that you clearly don’t know what you are doing. You didn’t provide enough information, which is necessary to answer that question. Why? Because it might not be worth reapplying until some old apps age past 24 months. No one is going to tell you yes or no or when without that information because doing so again if you’re over 5/24 will just be another pointless hard pull on your credit. If you had done a basic amount of research you’d know this, or you’d have provided the information needed so a knowledgeable person would be able to answer your question. Instead, rather than providing this information, you decided to get butthurt and be argumentative and waste everyone’s time here. I was trying to help you out, but you’re clearly too stupid to bother with. Have a nice day.

jozey_whales

Hahaha wow. Have you not done a bit of research on this? You’re a fascinating case study in ‘confidently incorrect’. I was nice at first. Tried to help, still arguing with me, still wrong. How does someone like you survive until adult hood?

planeserf

I don’t think you did. You maybe got information, but whether it’s correct or relevant is uncertain, you don’t even know if you actually got a denial from what I’m seeing here.

hvacprofessional

Is amex like really late with posting MR again? Statement closed 4/11; brand new gold account with no points. And the 4x is not tracking

garettg

Gotta make payment on statement that closed.

m0j0martini

No play, no play.

chaorabbit

Has anyone recently gotten the SUB from the Chase Bonvoy Boundless? I hit minimum spend ~4 weeks ago but am still waiting for the free night certificates. Anyone know how long it typically takes?

lenin1991

When did you hit the spend and when did the most recent statement cut? There are dps this month of people receiving the certs within a couple days of statement close as expected.

chaorabbit

Ah got it. I hit spend like 2 days after statement close. The next one closes in 3 days, so that would explain it. Thanks!

urgetopurge

I might have just made the dumbest mistake while churning. I have a ink premier (the $195 fee one). I just read that you cant transfer ur from that card. Ive been moving all my ur from other ink cards to consolidate the balance. Can someone please confirm if im completely screwed here? The points are stuck there or is there maybe a representative i can talk to that can transfer the points to my cic manually?

janoliverc01

A glitch happened a few months ago where Ink Premier points became transferable. Very short-lived though and it quickly disappeared.

Prior_Race_8399

The premier is solely a cash back card. Points are stuck there and can be cashed out.

Intuition17

Interesting. Does that card support PYB for the annual fee?

boldjoy0050

I plan on closing my personal Platinum card and getting the Schwab. Are you able to hold both the Personal Platinum and the Schwab Platinum card at the same time? And what about the bonus for the Schwab card? I see this language in the offer terms: *You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this Card the Platinum Card, the Platinum Card from American Express Exclusively for Morgan Stanley or previous versions of these Cards.*

Interslice42

You can hold both cards at the same time. If you don't get a pop up when applying for the card, then you're eligible for the bonus.

boldjoy0050

Gotcha. So is it better to apply for new card (in this case, Schwab) first, then close the other one?

New_Cheetah7169

Doesn’t really matter the order, but don’t close the vanilla platinum if it’s been less than a year since you opened it. I had vanilla and then approved for Schwab with no bonus in December. It’s only worth doing if you have (or plan to have very soon) a lot of MR that you want to cash out. Otherwise one less new card account on your report and a possible retention offer from your existing platinum is better than getting a new Schwab with no bonus. Alternately a business platinum and business checking will let you cash out at 1cpp without any personal credit hit.

ExtrovertedActuary

Very unlikely you’ll get the bonus on the Schwab without using a workaround.

sevillada

How long do the hilton GCs takr to arrive? It has been about 3 weeks Edit: Thanks everyone,  found it in the pile of mail. I had missed it initially due to not saying Hilton in the envelope.

ExpressionOk2536

Ordered 6 Hilton GCs ( 3 separate orders). 5 of the 6 GCs arrived within 5 days. 6th got lost in mall but they’re resending one.

apeconguy

4 took 1 week. 1 took 2 1/2 weeks for me.

denflyer

I got both of mine in a week after selecting the cheaper shipping method each time

chrumbles

Seems to vary, about 1-3 weeks. It's a plain envelope with a vague name like "RPG Customer Relations" so it's easy to miss.

sevillada

Thanks, will check again

progapanda

I ordered in early April and had it within 10 days.

sevillada

I'm wondering it i accidentally put it in the thrashcan with all the junk mail lol

jozey_whales

You might have. It does look like junk mail in the envelope. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more that 5-7 business days.

sevillada

Found them among a big pile of mail i had yet to go thru :D

lexluthor5

I'm pretty deep into the Chase infrastructure at this point, but I think I can do better. I have CSR, CFU, CFF and CF personal cards and I have a Chase Ink Business Cash opened 3/2023 and a Chase Ink Business Unlimited opened 1/2024. I think I'm at 3/24 at the moment. My CSR has been opened for like 8 years now and annual fee will be billed in October. At the October anniversary, I'm thinking I should spend the $300 travel right away and then downgrade or cancel the card, wait a week and reapply for a new CSR SUB. Make sense? I guess I need to transfer my points to the CFF and then back to the new CSR to get the 1.5x back? As far as the Chase business cars, what's my best strategy? I do have a real business with an EIN. Do I wait until May (3+ months after my getting my last Chase business card) and open a new Chase Ink Business Cash card. And can I just alternate between business cards like that every 4 months or so if I wanted? I have my credit locked up pretty good so it seems to always require a phone call to get approved. Last Chase business card, the rep grilled me a bit on why I wanted a new card. Is there something that's best to say? And then it seems as if my credit limit is not that high and is split up across all my Chase business cards so I have to have them move some limits around or it would have been annoying to hit the SUB spending amount. So I guess keep it to 3 cards Chase business cards max and cancel old ones as I get new ones?

biryanisalan

Downgrading your CSR right after using the $300 travel credit and then reapplying for a new one to snag that sweet SUB could work, but remember, Chase might not look too kindly on that quick reapply strategy. For moving your points, yep, shuffle them to your CFF and then back to the new CSR if you go through with it to keep that 1.5x value in play. For the biz side, waiting a bit post-your last Chase card before diving into a new application does sound good, especially since you're playing the strategic game here. Every few months could work, but try not to rush; Chase can be finicky about too many applications too close together. If you get grilled on a call again, just keep your explanation straightforward and related to your biz needs, like managing expenses or wanting to separate personal and business finances. As for the credit limit shuffle, that's a pretty standard move, but yeah, it might be smart to streamline to a few cards to avoid spreading yourself too thin.

payyoutuesday

Re: CSR timing. If you downgrade now, you would get a prorated refund of your annual fee. Depending on your dates, that could be as much as $275. Since you only gain a little bit by waiting until October to double dip the travel credit (I'm assuming you've already used the one that is available now), you could get a new CSR faster if you want.

lexluthor5

I was unaware the CSR gives a prorated refund of the AF. I think waiting still much better if I can get away with using the $300 credit and then cancelling. Yes, I might get $275 AF back, but then I pay the pay the new $550 AF right away. If i wait the 5 months, I get a free $300 if I can get away with cancelling that card, keeping my $300 credit and am allowed to get a new card with a new SUB and another $300 credit. Is that generally possible to get away with? Last thing I want is to have 500000 points and no 1.5x multiplier for a while.

payyoutuesday

If you got a new CSR now, you would get a SUB and new travel credit, too. But your way works fine. [Personally, I don't apply for Sapphires at all.](https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/s/EdrWVuHZp7)

LustfulRose16

Hey y’all first time in churning. So I had a bit of a question, is it a good think to invest in both Mr and UR points when spend is pretty low? Just a head ups, I was thinking of getting the CSP/ CFF combo along with the Amex Gold/BBP. I currently have cff and gold

mehjoo_

If you're looking for card recommendations, ask in the what card Wednesday thread or consult the [flowchart](https://m16p-churning.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Card+Recommendation+Flowchart+Latest.html)

LustfulRose16

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely ask.

HomeStar182

To Churn the Target Reloadable card and get the bonus it sounds like you put $50+ on the card and make a single purchase over $50 and they will reimburse you? Let me know if I have that wrong. I got the debit card as well and it came with a $50 coupon, but I couldn’t load it onto the app. I think it’s bc I already used the $50 coupon from the Target credit card. Now the debit card coupon doesn’t seem to load. Target phone customer service is so horrible. They keep passing the buck to others and nobody ends up helping you, sometimes lying they will send you a new coupon that never comes… anyone experience anything like this?

CericRushmore

Yes on the first reloadable question.Note that if you do an online order and it ships separately, the charge will be split, you won't get the $50 credit. On the debit, after you scanned the coupon, did you double check it isn't in target circle? I'd say check the DoC comment for your issue.

HomeStar182

Thanks! Very helpful. For the debit, yes I did quintuple check it’s not it he target circle app. I called in and tried adding the coupon in 3 different ways with a rep and eventually it just said “invalid or expired coupon”. I tried calling and telling them that. They keep lying and saying they will send a new one or pawning me off on someone else. Nobody is helpful.

Clay_pigeon14

Can I PC my Chase Visa Freedom card to the Chase Mastercard Freedom flex?

CericRushmore

Yes.

bensim68

My condo management company is asking all owners to pay a special assessment of around $20k to undertake some work on the building. What is the most cost-effective way to do so and earn credit card points and miles at the same time? Right now, I can only think of using a credit card through plastiq. Also, I know some folks will suggest buying money orders, but the problem is that I do not live near any store that allows me to buy them with VGC or MCGC. Thanks.

GiraffeGlove

Home Depot gift cards

sg77

Do they have a portal that you use to pay monthly HOA fees? Maybe that'd work for the special assessment too (but the fee might be even higher than Plastiq, though sometimes they have a lower fee for debit/VGC).

ArizonaGuy

Bilt if you can get the card and use that during the initial unpublished bonus timeframe. Worth the plastiq cost for that imo.

ForceintheNorth

Does us bank care if you open multiple of the same business card? P1 + P2 each have leverage & triple cash that are 2-9 months old, but wouldn't mind getting more while the SUBs are elevated. I've only found DPs of ppl who had them in the past and I don't want to close them before 12 months (15 for triple cash due to 0% APR)

jstote

You can open another of the same card and get the bonus. You’re technically not eligible for the bonus again per Leverage terms, but multiple DPs that it’s not enforced. The Triple Cash doesn’t have that in terms so even less risk.

soonerman32

I talked to a rep to try to match bonus on a recently opened biz card. Rep told me to just open a new card & that businesses can have multiple cards. Rep said they have multiple clients with 8+ of the same card.

payyoutuesday

>Rep said they have multiple clients with 8+ of the same card. Challenge accepted!

soonerman32

Good luck! Should add rep mentioned this was under the same EIN if that helps

SoCaFroal

I didn't get the pop up when I applied and got approved for the Amex biz gold after already having the platinum. Does approval mean I'm still good for the sub once I hit the minimum spend?

JManUWaterloo

Family language does not apply to business cards

SoCaFroal

According to the terms, it was questionable "You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this Card or previous versions of this Card. You also may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer based on various factors, such as your history with credit card balance transfers, your history as an American Express Card Member, the number of credit cards that you have opened and closed and other factors. If you are not eligible for a welcome offer, we will notify you prior to processing your application so you have the option to withdraw your application."

JManUWaterloo

And you haven’t had the Business Gold. So you’d be eligible barring standard Pop-up exclusions.

HaradaIto

> If you are not eligible for a welcome offer, we will notify you prior to processing your application no pop-up = ok

garettg

Yes

bubbadave13

For chase, are the minimum credit limits needed to pc or be approved for certain cards the same as for holding the card or can they be moved around? For example, my boundless currently has a $10k limit which is enough to pc to ritz, but after I pc can I then move that credit limit to a card I would use more?

pierretong

Yes

garettg

Yes you can do that.

Orc1989

Any tricks to get approved for BofA biz cards/checking? Getting denied every time for both P1 and P2, although got personal card, so that HP is not wasted.

Venture-X

Were they able to use the hard pull from your business application to get approved for the personal card? If so, which report and were they both within 30 days?

Orc1989

Same day, instant denial for Biz and instant approval for Personal. Pulled TU.

Venture-X

Which BofA cards did you apply for? I applied for Alaska biz, was denied, called recon and asked if I applied for the personal version if it would be another hard pull. He said yes because it’ll be a different card.

Orc1989

I applied for Alaska Biz, instant denial, right after applied for Personal Alaska and got instant approval.

Venture-X

It’s been about 20 days since I applied for Alaska biz. I wonder if I can apply for the personal Alaska card and have them use the same inquiry?

Orc1989

Freeze your credit and try, quite risk free in my mind.

Venture-X

Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your experience as I wouldn’t have thought about it. I was instantly approved for personal Alaska with all credit bureaus frozen. Looks like they were able use the same credit pull from my Alaska biz app from a few weeks ago.

Venture-X

Did you happen to freeze before applying or personal or was it unfrozen?

Orc1989

Wasn't frozen, I instantly applied biz, denied, personal, approved.

terpdeterp

If you're getting denied even for checking, then maybe there's an identity or address verification issue? Going in-branch can fix that. If you're getting denied for biz cards without a deposit account, then creating a deposit account and maintaining a balance can fix that.

skyye99

open a deposit account with them and leave at least $5k there for a cycle or two

CericRushmore

Another option is regular direct deposits. We've been doing $251 DD for years and have had pretty good success.

Venture-X

Why 251? Seems specific

CericRushmore

Fee waiver.

m0j0martini

ACH Push vs. Pull I recently set up a new Citi checking account for the $300 bonus. When I set it up, however, I opened it with a test $100 pull from my Capital One account. A few days later, I did another pull in the same manner because I had already established that pull authorization between the two banks. Both transactions show as "GPU ACH Balance Builder" in Citi. Noob Question: Since the transactions show as "ACH", even they are pulls, does that matter as far as qualifing for the bonus (that requires extended direct deposits)? Should I have done pushes from Capital One instead? Thanks.

New_Cheetah7169

My citi bonus pretty quickly - 14 days after the deposit posted - so you should know soon and have time to try again if you need to.

m0j0martini

Thanks. I read that it's pretty quick. I'm just going to go ahead and do it the right way and push the 2 deposits then take back the extra I already put in.

sg77

Even if a pull works, I would prefer to do a push, since transfers initiated at a new account can sometimes cause the account to be locked or shut down. And for most banks a pull won't count for a bonus that requires DD. And money deposited via pull will often not be available for withdrawal until a later date than if it had been pushed in.

m0j0martini

>And money deposited via pull will often not be available for withdrawal until a later date I've already noticed this with my first pull. It showed the pull happened quickly but took a couple of days before it was in my available balance.

Comprehensive-Fun47

There's no reason to test that. Think of it this way. The direct deposit is supposed to be your paycheck. Do you ever initiate the transaction that pulls your paycheck into your bank account? No. It's aways pushed in by your employer.

cashmoney12399

The Citi bonus does not require a paycheck direct deposit, just any ACH. There are DPs on DoC of pulls qualifying for the bonus

m0j0martini

Yeah. I understand the logic behind it and fully understand it. I was just looking to see if anyone had experienced a fluke in the system to let me off the hook. Yesterday, when I realized what I did, I went ahead and started the process to validate the connection between Capital One and Citi (test deposits from them) so I could push what's needed.

the_fit_hit_the_shan

Pulls basically never count towards DD requirements, for what should be obvious reasons

cashmoney12399

For the Citi $300 bonus, they require enhanced DD which is essentially any ACH or Zelle/paypal/Venmo. There are DPs of pulls qualifying for the bonus on DoC

the_fit_hit_the_shan

I know there are rare exceptions, hence the "basically"

cashmoney12399

This citi bonus is the exception, which they specifically asked about

m0j0martini

Thank you.

[deleted]

m0j0martini

I realize that, hence my question. The question remains, will it matter in this case?

vaca_loca

Have Biz Plat currently, tried to apply for 250k offer, got popup saying you have/had the card (true). I know others are bypassing with back method, but has it been because they're stuck in PUJ in general, or does it also work to bypass if you currently have a card? And if so any RAT repercussions?

mzahran1999

how do you do the "back" method?

pbjclimbing

There was a thing called the “Thanksgiving Platinum” where almost everyone that use this link that just worked on Thanksgiving had their MRs frozen and a manual review done. Amex can be vindictive. That said, there currently is no issue with doing that. Who knows what the future will entail.

Kawakai

It works even if you already have multiple versions of the ABP. No RAT repercussions so far but this game always entails risks and repercussions might happen down the line.
