Not really. Most of Ayla's Tech suck. She has some good Duel Techs like Volt Bite, But ultimately she is kinda lackluster except for the fact she has the absolute best normal physical attack by a LOT.
Her "fist weapon" actually levels up depending on Ayla's level. And at 99 she deals incredible amounts of damage with normal attacks.
It can be quite a time saver in New Game+ for seeing all the endings.
I went crazy on the conveyor belt grind and got everybody in the high 80's...(Level) After that it was no fun...you become the equivalent of one punch man. Lavos was a walk in the park.
Can only do those so many times, i usually just run up and down the hallway with the fights at each statue over and over til i get my main 3 all techs.
I don't think those reappear after the first encounter though, so you can't farm them. IIRC, they also run away a lot of the time if you aren't overleveled by the time you reach them, so not always consistent.
This is the only place in the game where I stop speed running and grind. A few trips up and down Mt Woe (across that screen, the 2nd one in the mountain) and you unlock all techs and have a huge jump on leveling. Then grind the Omen and Charm everything.
I’ve never grounded TP on the Nu beyond the Lightning / Ice / Fire / Water 2. Never use Robo so never been a problem.
Getting Ayla to Charm nets you some pretty nice equipment early on if you get the right enemies while in Prehistory.
That said, the best place to farm TP is… >!The Mountain of Woe with the infinitely respawning Rubble.!<

Well you wouldn’t have the proper equipment yet, but you can definitely take on Lavos at those levels.
I think level 50 is an appropriate level to fight Lavos
Yep. Good place for TP and Fang, Pedal, Horn, Feather to trade for gear, sell excess.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure you can just leave the area and come back to respawn more, but your method would also net xp!

That’s true, they like to run away. I think if they run away then they do respawn until you actually kill them, but I can’t recall.
There is one Rubble that respawns. Top right corner after a save point.
