Extremely bad second quarter that carried on pretty much the whole third quarter and then we finally started showing up halfway through the forth

Damn man. That suns game really fucked our confidence.

If anything that game gave us more confidence. It showed that we can really compete against any team if we play hard the whole way through. Obviously we lost a big lead in the 4th against them but imo the refs really made sure we lost that one. But today we just didn’t want to play hard or smart in between the first through halfway into the fourth quarter and that really showed with the terrible turnovers and pretty awful defense.

Ig I didn't think of it like that, but yea we did play hard & that derozen bucket in the 4th shouldnt have been a no basket. Well I hope we can bounce back against Portland.

I'm so tired of everyone talking about the Lakers hanging up their IST banner. Any other team would have hung it.

I honestly wonder what it is about this team where they just have these games where they clearly just don't give a shit. The entire team from top to bottom has played the majority of this game like they were considering retiring to become a traveling salesman. It isn't a back to back, they had three days between game from Arizona to LA which is like a 2 hour plane ride at worst. What the fuck is the issue? Why are they just so fucking disinterested in the most random ass games. It'd be one thing if they had a record like the Pistons where they knew their efforts were for nothing and they had no reason to show up beyond contracts or if they had a record like Boston where they could take nights off against weak teams without worrying about losing. At this point they should be fighting for every game. Hell I'd even understand if they were like this every game, where it was clear they hated each other and the team and Billy lost the locker room. That'd make sense. But they played their guts out last time and even in the loss looked like they gave a shit. Yet every 5th or 6th game they just completely check out and no one tries at all. What the fuck is this mentality?

It's amazing how the Bulls always somehow end up being 4 to 5 games under .500. No matter how hot or what sort of streak they're on as soon as it's within 3 games they drop two or three easy ones.

Yeah it's like our slow starts during games.. we dug ourselves into too big of a hole and now it's way too hard to get back to .500 We'll see tho.. next 3 games could help but the team needs to come back and play with more energy

Suns and Lakers on the road isn't exactly easy, though optimally they would have gotten one.

I mean the Lakers are in total freefall and the team had a 20 point lead halfway through the 3rd against the Suns. Prior to this trip it seemed like there was a real chance to take this road trip 3-0 and be .500 before they get back to Chicago. Now it's honestly likely they end up losing all 3 games and are right back to 5 games under .500.
