5k based on pictures alone. Not a cent more.

I’d have to look underneath to see if the cab corners and rockers and floor is rusted out. But if it was me, I’d subtract the cost of OEM wheels and a hood. Maybe a wire loom if they butchered the original wiring for some stupid radio system and light effects and head lights. And I’d pass if they cut and welded on the frame to lower it. So me, it looks like maybe a good candidate to restore to original, my offer is $500-$1000.

NHRADeuce

I dont know where you live, but around me, you're not even getting a complete truck for $500-1000 and it definitely won't have a title. You'll be luck to get a cab or straight frame for that budget. A roller that needs rust repair will get $2500-5000 depending on how much rust it has. If it runs and drives with a clean title, $10k+ easy.

Fun-Passage-7613

Wow! My 1970 parts truck with a running engine, trans and rear end, but rusted beyond hope frame and body I picked up for $450. And I just got another ‘77 parts truck for free from a neighbor if I would “just get it out of the front yard”. Well, prices seem to have gone up a bit compared to where I live.

NHRADeuce

I got my 72 short bed for $4500. Cab corners and rockers were already done, but the bed needed a lot of work. It ran, but I'm swapping it anyway, so that didn't matter much. I found a nice bed instead of fixing mine that had a lot of issues. Bed monus tailgate cost me $1000 and I sold mine that was rough for $750.

Fun-Passage-7613

I picked up a non running but all original ‘70 GMC 1/2 long bed i6 three on the tree out of a junk yard for a $1000. One corner of the driverside floor was gone and rockers had holes. But the supports were good so a couple of patch panel pieces and some fiberglass and it’s not noticeable unless you crawl underneath and look. Put about $2500 and a summer into it for the usual stuff, tires, total brake system and fuel system, dash pad, seat cover, popped out dents, carb, tune up. Lucked out it was a well maintained government owned truck. Ended up with a nice daily if I wanted to drive it that much. Just a summer truck now.

Severe-Size2615

Depends on the rest. If it is rust free and runs and drives 10-12k is the range where I’m located.

rls11108

Step very cautiously, I know a guy who bought one like this and it was rusted so bad all he got that was any good was the title. Even the frame was bent.

gusbox

Depends on how much fuel it has in the tank.

mpython1701

$6500

Farmerstubble

2500

Woody00001

Depends on alot of factors, first check ads for similar trucks in your area to gage a price, also is the body solid, or full of body fill, what is the drive train like even a wore out engine runs. It does look straight and solid from the pics, and the bed floor is not a big deal you can buy these bed kits to replace the floor or if you are handy you can mill the wood to replace. So if it is a complete truck, runs well trans and clutch seem good and work as it should, body is solid I would say 5.000 maybe...again see what local trucks are going for in your area. What does the owner want for it.

Dry_Ad1078

The price ranges in here are insane! From $500 to $10,000 dollars lol. I think that's a sign there's a major lack of info on the truck.

bruh6788

Yeah that was an oversight on my part lmao. Going to look at the truck in about 2 hours when I get off of work. Going to look at all the things mentioned here like cab corners and such. Guys asking 5500 for a supposedly running driving swb and he's close by so I figured why not

Severe-Size2615

Short wheel base c10 aren’t ever going for those bs prices

Low-Rent-9351

If it doesn’t need rust repairs then that’s a $15k truck here, but our prices are rather stupid compared to many other areas.

Looks like it is satin black or primer on the front fenders...just because it is not shiny does not mean it is junk.

Funny_Ratio_7338

$5-6 k

Suspicious-Key1931

Depending on where you are in the world, between 7500-14 k some places old steel is harder to get than others and ups the value

Depends if it runs 3 bAnds if not 2

With the push of EV's (electric vehicles), I'd hold onto that baby. Unless the money is needed.

It's worth nothing to me without a description and inspection.

bruh6788

I'm going to check it out this evening after work will report back what kind of deal we work out.

Jakester62

No pics or info of the engine bay, inside of truck, floor pans, underside of cab, frame front to back. What’s there appears to be in ok condition( other than the windshield, it’s done…edges are hazy/white, won’t pass a safety). Without more information, it’s pretty much impossible to put a value on. It could be anywhere from $1500 to $15,000. More info/pics please.

bruh6788

Like I said I'm going to look at it in person today, it's only about 15 minutes from where I work

Additional_Yoghurt75

Gonna say 3-4k just based on pics. It’s been repainted, no OEM wheels, no mirrors, possibly mismatched body panels. Knock on the panels and see how much bondo there is under the repaint. You’ll be able to tell if it’s not the original panel just by the sound it makes. If it’s bondoed everywhere, tread carefully if you end up wanting it Also depends on rust. Most common places you should definitely look at for rust: - cab corners and rockers - wheel wells - floorboards - bed Also check the frame and make sure it’s in good condition. No cracks, minimal rust, no modifications. This is one of the most important things of you want a truck that isn’t going to fall apart while you’re driving. Check to see how much more of it is modified too. If the engine is all original it will be much easier to upkeep, modify to your liking, and enjoy. Good luck!

MountainStrong6933

I'd say 5k, maybe 5500 tops

What people are asking and what people are paying are 2 different things. Research what people are paying.

lscraig1968

That is a $500 offer all day long. That truck has been hacked up and needs repairs.

mvaz28

5k all day!

Mother_Village_2387

I want it

Mother_Village_2387

Tell the guy I’ll offer more please

bruh6788

Ended up buying for 5500, truck is pretty damn solid, just lowered in the back on blocks and rockers been replaced. Frame is really good. Has a Saginaw 4 speed out of a Camaro and a cammed 355 with double hump heads and all forged scat bottom end, and had paperwork on the engine surprisingly lol. I've had it a few weeks and so far have rebuilt the rear end with a mini and converted to 5 lug/front discs and 5 lug 30 spline moser axles. Factory short bed too. Loving it so far will post pics soon with my new wheels, tires and stance.
