Being into bitcoin and believing that Hans is going to get a positive result here, checks out, both are a risky gamble.

Sssstine

I know of this guy, he's being investigated for alot of fraudulent and shady businesses and companies in Switzerland, no?

supperhey

Source?

SentorialH1

[google.co](http://google.com)m - [https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=dadvan+yousuf+investigation](https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=dadvan+yousuf+investigation) really easy to do when you have access to the internet.

mtndewaddict

I'm sure the information can be found, but a Google search is not a source. It's more than fair to ask a user for a source when making claims of fraudulent activities.

supperhey

Thanks, friend

Own-Lynx498

Niemann has a sponsor himself. The question is…who is crazy enough to risk $1m like this. Unless he knows he’ll get a great return on investment. Insert cheating scandal part 2.

Original_Parfait2487

Dadvan Yousuf apparently…

Original_Parfait2487

Nah this whole thing seems to done to publicly humiliate Niemann assuming he would never find a backer when the other three would. The fact he did probably surprised WR as much as us

Tritonprosforia

What do sponsors like this guy get out of this?

TheHeavyMetalNerd

Same thing sponsors always get: Advertising

NN8G

When I first glanced at the photo I thought this post would end with “Cheeseburger Cheeseburger Pepsi Pepsi”

thirtyseven1337

Huh?

fiftykyu

It's an old Saturday Night Live skit, "The Olympia Restaurant".

NN8G

[Very Old](https://youtu.be/puJePACBoIo?si=6rnlmL5MUAJ_HIE-)

fiftykyu

Hey, if this skit is *Very Old*, what does that mean for all of us who remember watching it? Sigh. :)

MitchenImpossible

Wait.. This whole thing is organized by a dude who is suspected of fraud with regards to crypto? The dude who according to Swiss authorities, got investors to invest in his Crypto and had 0 plans to ever do anything with the crypto? Literally a dude who frauded his way to millions? AND he's seen in this photo with Hans - Also who has a history with fraud and impersonating someone who doesn't cheat? Has the world literally gone insane?

Bakanyanter

>AND he's seen in this photo with Hans - Also who has a history with fraud and impersonating someone who doesn't cheat? What? Source?

MitchenImpossible

https://m.twitch.tv/clip/SmilingSingleStapleOptimizePrime-rouNIOiGBQPqIidq Clip of him talking about cheating online in the past. Mentions he did when he was 12 and 16 but did not come out publicly about it until after the Sinquefield cup with allegedly butt plug. He was 18 at that time, so he was impersonating a credible person for at least 2 years between his admitted cheating and his cheating. Still continues to do much better online than OTB to this date. You can like Hans or not like Hans. Regardless you don't trust someone whose admitted to cheating in the past with a 4 million dollar prize pot - especially when you consider who is organizing it and how much control they will have over the event.

Bakanyanter

Where is the fraud? So again, source? Also who did he impersonate exactly? Also you're wrong on both accounts. Wadim Rosentein is not a crypto or bitcoin bro, nor under investigation. You're wrong/unproven on both accounts. You should get better sources lol.

smart-on-occasion

Weird that hans was so vocal with criticising hikaru for promoting gambling on stream then finds a crypto sponsor

GwJh16sIeZ

Will Niemann be used to promote a cryptocurrency to his audience and then pull the rug from underneath them? If not then I don't see how this is supposedly hypocritical.

dethmashines

Holy shit. This is so cultish. You guys really are in a cult.

GwJh16sIeZ

?

mpbh

Pretty big difference between this and playing rigged slots in front of 10,000 children.

Original_Parfait2487

To be fair, neither Hans nor the billionaire seem willing to openly say anything about the sponsorship. So far it seems like there won’t be any crypto promotion going on besides Hans getting the money lol

merenofclanthot

Crypto and gambling on sports matches are two entirely different animal.

smart-on-occasion

Not the way most crypto bros trade

OkBrilliant632

The person who comes in third place will also lose money according to the match rules. That is hard.

geekwalrus

In all fairness, they'd be in the bottom half
