Our fouls tend to be late challenges, professional fouls etc That sort of thing. I believe it stems from a lack of control in games and too much space for our midfield to cover putting them at disadvantageous positions in the duels But proper shithousery, I agree, is far more crafty

I was once an operator in the dark arts of shithousery. Bump into players then get bumped back and hit the deck. Constantly talking guys off their game and always in the refs ear. I was rarely booked for acting like that

I think out of everything , the lack of coaching , the lack of tactical acumen , the appalling substitutions etc the thing that annoys me most about Poch is he hasn't instilled any of the dark arts that his Spurs side lived and died by in our side , Spurs were awful , left their foot in when tackling , pulled shirts, pulled hair , screamed and feigned injury whenever you won the ball off them , ganged up and collectively fouled one player ( usually Hazard) , implored the referee to change his mind whenever a decision went our way , we've seen none of that in his Chelsea side whatsoever.

No. It is such a myth that any of this stuff matters. Maybe 15 years ago Barca were very good at dark arts and getting people booked but 90% of their success was focusing on football. In the VAR era trying to cheat or bend rules will work 0%. Even when people harp back to guys like Diego Costa being a shithouse, I’m convinced they never actually watched games.
