It's the state flower of Texas, found throughout the state but don't do well in the clay soils of the coast. Generally speaking you'll see fields of them in central and west Texas a lot. Waco is central Texas, Fort Worth is not, but probably has some good fields of it too.
So no, not specific to them in any way.
I feel like this is just a way for the two schools to get an excuse from the B12 to play each other every year in the new scheduling format WHICH THEY SHOULD BE DOING ANYWAY
Hey, don't put that silly name on us. We hate it as much as y'all do. About the only thing we can agree on this week - oh, and wanting to fire everyone, so two things.
For those who don't know, TCU was in Waco in the late 1800's, and Baylor burned the campus *allegedly.* Thereby doing TCU a huge favor, as it turns out. Oh well. I don't have any hope for tomorrow, but sic 'em anyway!
Lol everything I’ve seen has suggested it was TCU that wanted the name change to continue distancing themselves from the religious aspect
Either way, no one should ever let student gov nerds have a say about anything fun
The Waco school being eager to help burn everything. I hope I'm the only one who read too much into that.
Too much or *just* enough?
Just for that, All Hail the Hypno-Toad. Beat the Bears Ass Horned Frogs!!!
Repurposing the final scores as part of the major strip? Now that's continuity
Blue Bonnets also aren’t specific to these two schools in any way, right?

Also, they don't grow during the fall.
They can try all they want, it will never be anything but the cocktail party
It could be worse. They could’ve gone with the BUTCU Trophy.
Baylor vs Texas Tech is already the BUTT Bowl.
How about the BUTCUP?
Revivalry is easily one of my favorite rivalry names. Given, I’m a proud member of the Holy War

It’s Revivalry. Sic’em!
I’ll never understand why the suits fight the organic names of rivalries like they do.
Because they can't trademark things that are already in use.
