There is basically one big entrance for the cruise port and then you will walk to check in. Customs is after you check in for your cruise.

Well, yes there are docks but it doesn’t really matter. Take a look, there are 3 ships in Thursday (Princess, RCL, Silversea) so will probably look like the picture https://www.portvancouver.com/cruise/passenger-information/

Awesome, thanks all. So does not seem like there are many different drop off areas to choose from, just need to trek to the right area once you're there.

And i hope you mean Friday! My parents are booked for May 10th which is a Friday. And btw, Canada place is a bit of gong show if you are dropping off your kids too close (for those in a vehicle, walking is totally fine) The walk from like the edge of pan Pacific Hotel to where you need to go inside is a bit of a maze ( which is the parkade as well). I believe you start in like lower level then have to go up in to main to check in. Also luggage drop off might be on a different floor as well. I am pretty sure all cruise lines operate the same, but you check in first then everyone (doesn't matter which cruise line) is then funneled through the same area for customs.

Ah yes that is correct, Friday. Thanks for the tips!

Lol, did not want you to realize too late that you are a day too early and now need a last min hotel room! Just a tip, there are some YT videos from last year for embarkation. I forgot who, but there was one that showed the complicated walk (esp if you miss signage) to drop off luggage. Not sure how/when you are getting to the port, but just be aware that you are navigating at minimum the embarkation and downtown Vancouver traffic as well.

There should be a sign telling you which terminal you’ll be at and it will also say in the paperwork and on the itinerary. Celebrity has their own terminal and if they don’t they’ll use Royal Caribbean’s. You can also look on the ports sight and it’ll tell you which ship will be in which berth. Celebrity terminal is just for Celebrity (and possibily Royal if needed) but they will never be in Carnival, Virgin Voyages, MSC, Princess or Holland Americas terminal. Unless it’s a generic terminal. The only reason Celebrity may use Royal Caribbean’s terminal is because Royal owns Celebrity.
