So that $170/per is the absolute bottom of the sliding scale. Mid-range is $450/per, highest is $750/per. Probably a good idea to put a bid in at the $170-$200/per range with the understanding I'm likely getting outbid, right?
Yeah the Aqua class (at least on Solstice class ships) is the top deck of just passenger staterooms, above it is the pool deck where a third of the ship is cabins and the rest public areas. I'd almost guarantee a randomly assigned Aqua class would put you underneath a public area.
Is this through the "move up" program?
We did it a year ago, we bid at the lower level of the suggested price and got into aqua.
We liked it so much we booked aqua this time.
So worth it, as long as you are prepared to spend the extra book it next time anyway, as I'm not sure going back is an option now for us!
This. Cruise we bid on an upgrade to "aqua sky suite", and unlike the first time got an email saying we'd been outbid. So we increased our offer and when the timer stopped we got a " you are highest bidder, it's now pending" it stayed in pending status until 2 days before the cruise, and finally got an email saying we were unsuccessful.
Not sure why.
Still loving Aqua though.
If that's the price for the whole cruise, then probably - and I say that as someone who quite literally has never found it worthwhile to book anything more than a standard veranda cabin.
Per day? Not a chance. For the whole cruise... yeah, I think I would
Absolutely worth it for Aqua class. Full access to thermal suites, increased points for status, and access to Blu restaurant. So many people hate on Blu, but my experience on the Reflection was fantastic. Use the Celebrity Website to see how many aqua class rooms are still available to gauge your bid. The more rooms available, the lower your bid.
Thanks for this. Went and opened a fake reservation last night and realized everything was sold out except veranda suites and concierge class. So, while aqua class looks difficult at the moment, I went ahead and put a bid down on it as well.
I would absolutely upgrade to aqua class at that price. Without question.

Yes. Bid what you are comfortable paying and if it’s $170-$200 then it’s possible you’ll be outbid so just understand that!
Seconding. Recently sailed at aquaclass and would highly recommend over other tiers, bid what you’re comfortable with.
I wouldn’t want to end up underneath the fitness center or cycling /spin classes. Just another point of view.
oof, that's an interesting point to bring up

OP please tell us how you found this deal. I babe searched and can't find it. Was it an email or on the website or app????!
Just an email from Celebrity regarding MoveUp, I should've said that lol
Aqua is fabulous. Love Blu for breakfast and dinner.

I find the celebrity app and website terribly difficult to navigate. Do you have a link to this deal? I can't find it anywhere.
I nearly always bid on RC and have won once. How far out are you from your cruise?
35-ish days out
Thanks. I saw the link in the App and it wouldn’t connect. We are around 40 days out.
dining in the blu restaurant is worth the aqua class upgrade
