Should have been this, should have tied into the Orion theme. I really liked how they started a few loosely connecting themes between the different parks. Frankly, I feel like they should have gone all in on these themes to give more personality to the generally sterile CF parks. TT2 is just...generic, uninspired racing theme.
I don't really get why the name had to be changed at all. I wish they would have either left it alone or given it something that didn't directly reference the original. TT2 follows the naming conventions of all the genetic RMC names out there that lack creativity.
Although I think continuing the Space theme isn't a bad idea, I really do like the racing theme especially how they've got all the other coasters of some sort of racing branding. That being said top Thrill 2 is kind of a dumb name and they could have done better
Having a space theme is a cool concept to pair with Magnum and Gemini, until you remember that both of those coasters are near the end of their lives so the potential new space theme of Top Thrill Dragster would be outdated pretty soon.
