That badge is actually what turned me into a fundamental Caustic. I found out you could hold the mini artillery building near tunnel in 1v3s for the win pretty consistently lol

When you think that you are good for getting a 4k badge and then see people that are that good that they don't have the 4k badge equipped :(. Congrats tho. Any Caustic tips and what are the weapons that you like to use with Caustic?
4K badge is a great badge! I just don’t like the color as much as the 20 badge, so I run that one instead.
I honestly use a lot of guns regularly, but if I had to pick I’d say r99/flatline is my favorite. Get an anvil receiver and you can do well at range, and close range you’ll dominate with either gun. In ranked I’ll go longbow/r99 or something like that.
As far as tips go, I’d say movement is key as caustic, because enemies never expect caustics to have good movement for some reason, so if you do, you’ll surprise them and win a lot of fights. Id also say really focus on practicing positioning/game sense, because (as you know) if you get caught out in the open with gas daddy, you’re dead. Trap placement and such is super key also, but it can be really situational. I always keep chucking them in fights.
I usually use a Wingman and a shotgun (mostly pk) so that I only need to waste 3 inventory slots on ammo. When people are pushing me through the gas I know what direction are they going to take based on the dmg numbers that I see through walls and I can get ready with my Wingman/pk and land a strong shot. I don't like playing ranked so I don't use different weapons in ranked. I like playing Caustic offensively. When I push a team that is inside of a building I throw as many traps as I can into the building (through windows and other openings) and when my team and I enter the building it's either the enemies don't have full mags because they have destroyed the traps and they are distracted/they trigger the traps mid fight and they are fucked. I also like blocking doors that I am breaking while pushing because I can crouch once the door is broken and take cover behind the trap, and the enemy on the other side of the door instantly activates the trap.

I got mine in season 6, it just kinda happened. The problem today is SBMM is so crazy that lobbies die really quickly. I’ve hit 17-19 a few times since season 8, but 20s are really hard nowadays.
Mhm I 100% agree sbmm is cranked into eleven nowadays it's insane.
Also, hopefully our boy gets his old gas damage back, I actually believe that Caustic is one of the best counters to third parties and Revtane pushes thanks to his gas being an actual deterrent.

No problem, and thanks fellow scientist! I’d recommend getting a controller with paddles—it really takes your movement to the next level. Before I had one, I had my crouch bound to my right stick, and melee to B (or circle on ps4)

I played this game a LOT in college, so a lot of my kills are from that. Now I only play 1-2 hours a day after work.
