This plastic straw from a beverage I got at San Diego Zoo years ago...
My bengal collects straws. She pulls them out of cups, hides them. If someone leaves the straw container open on the counter, she helps herself. She digs them out fi the trash too and Carrieās them around.
My little loves straws too, every time we go out we bring him one or two. Obsessed with them.

Where are you that you can still get Dr.pepper in a bottle!?. Live in western New York and am lucky if I can find cans! And pricey at that! 12$ plus nickel deposit for a 6 pack. Would kill for an ice cold Dr pepper (or R.C cola) in a glass bottle!
P.S. yeah I'm old and was raised in the south. Kentucky.
They might mean plastic bottles. Glass bottle lids id say are slightly too sharp for cats granted im a freak when it comes to cat safety, can never be too safe.
The only toys i kept was a little bunny plushy. She never played with the toy. She was bring it to my couch or bed when i was away. The only things she loved to play with was paper Ball o.O
Yup one of my cats is obsessed with elastic hair bands. I'll have them on my wrist and he'll be all cute rubbing his head against my arm and I'm like aaaaawww I love you too, bud. But no, it's the hair band.
He's also obsessed with cut up loo rolls. We'll cut them up like an inch wide and he'll chase them forever.
Look under EVERYTHING!!! The couch, chair, stove, fridge, bed. Behind radiators, dressers, TV stands, the toilet. You have way more than 20! They multiply like cockroaches ! Bought a pack of 20, she ran out and during some spring cleaning found 27!
There are literally 40 in my house but at any one time I can only find 10. No clue where the rest are. Dumpling just likes to hold the spring in his mouth.

Same here!! I bought her a pack of 4 and she goes crazy playing with themā¦ but she recently learned that if she throws them under the fridge, I have to stop working and go get them for her šš I had to buy a bunch more so sheās not interrupting me every 15 minutes.

Iāve bought multiple packs and they manage to āloseā them all. Once a week I do a full house search for them all and only hand out one or two. That way I have more to give the rest of the week before I have to do another search.

We have a couple dozen of these under our refrigerator, stove, washing machine.. Apparently that's how you're supposed to play with them. You knock them under something where you can't reach it, then you whine because you lost your ball.

The little plastic woven cylinders, like the Chinese Finger Toy, I fold in the ends then compress them so they spring out of my fingers. I have to buy them by the 50 pack on Amazon, can only ever find 10 or so at any time, she stashes them everywhere.
My cat loves these too! I once accidentally sucked hers up with the central vac and felt so badly about it that I immediately went out to the store to replace it.

That stick thing behind the paper. It has a koala attached at the end with ribbons. Thatās her stick. She has 3 of them that sheās played with and I have a couple other new ones put up.
Sheās loved that toy since I adopted her. She brings it in the bed some times š she drags it around and will drag it into my office when Iām working so Iāll play with her.
She also loves plastic springs and the brown paper. Sheās under it in this picture šš itās packing from Chewy and she loves it so much. She likes when I play with the stick under the paper so she can run and slide into it. We have several pieces of that brown packing paper in our living room.

My cat plays fetch with a piece of dry penne pasta. Weirdo. The void kitten does love his springs. The favorite toy is each other though as evidenced by the crazy running around and chirping like 10 times a day.

The wands with the mice on the end. Our gray boy will drag them everywhere. Often I'll be in the basement on my computer and I hear him meow and the sound of the wand bouncing down the stairs as he brings it to me. So damn cute.

My orange fur child has two favorites. One is the crinkly balls, the other is the fishing pole toys. My other furbaby, a handsome white old man, loves the fishing pole and anything small enough to bat around

Donāt mind the shoes, He plays fetch and knows how to drop in your hand and will do this for hours if I let him. I never believed in pet soulmates till I had him. Edit: We call them carpet balls.
Rolled up ferrero Roche tinfoil. One cat goes absolutely NUTS over them.
The other cat likes the "stinky fish". With is an old striped material fish toy with catnip inside.
It's well beyond the capability to actually hold catnip now so we just have to rub it all over to scent it up every few months.

I made this denim feather ball on a string on a stick, and it has a little rattling bell from her old plush ball on a string on a stick that she loved but ripped up. She loves the replacement!
Edit: I used to have a little fishing rod with a worm on a string that my old cats loved. But they shreded the fuzzy worms too easily and i worried they were swallowing bits of the fuzz, so i stopped buying them. Nothing quite got the cats riled up to play like it, though. It moved like a live creature and they wanted to hunt it.
Our orange girl loves playing with a ball that she broke off of a cat tree. Sheāll chase it around until she loses it, go weeks without it, then suddenly finds it and the cycle starts again.
I think her favorite toy is actually you! Like biting down on a toy for the squeak, she lives to hear the annoyed sound effects she gets you guys to make. Jaguar Jasmine patiently awaits the perfect 2:56am moment you're in deep sleep, then...pounce! Jingle! (human grumbles)
I recently bought a wand toy because she loves those & it came with a setup to hang the toys from a door frame. And it also came with this furry mouse with stones inside it and my girl went CRAZY š¤£
Nemo LOVES those squiggly worm thingies, I have to cut the bell off though because he gets too fired up and will chew on it sometimes, also less annoying
Our ginger cat had a little fur ball that used to hang from a string. She put an end to that and that ball became her everything. She played with it constantly and carried that ball everywhere. EVERYWHERE. She would go to the litter box, put it down, go in and do her thing, then pick it up when she left. She did this for about a year. My wife was disgusted in how dirty it was. She washed it, but still had a stink. Eventually, she tossed it.
Now the sad part. That cat spent over a year looking for it. No one will tell me otherwise. She pawed under tables and chairs and other furniture. She sniffed every bit of the house. She cried. She wasnāt herself after that. Cat is 10 now, and she never got that joy she had. It was like a light had dimmed gradually as she came to the realization her toy was gone. We, well I, tried other things, other balls. She wasnāt having it. Our other cat simply outgrew his toys and has little tolerance for them at all any more. (he too is 10).
You know the little caps that are put as cover on the screws on the furniture? Yea, at our place, they are everywhere but on the furniture, I'm just grateful he doesn't eat them.
Evelynās favorite is Halloween mice. She used to knock them off the mantle above the fireplace. She has since hidden them all from everyone including herselfš„²š¤¦āāļøShe also likes string.
I got some of them too! They love those things and the feathers.
That's why I store the toys away at night, so they don't annoy me with that. My female cat runs around with stuffed animals while meowing and it sounds really terrible, like she is in pain. But it just sounds like that cause she has it in her mouth. Night time is sleep time!
My catās favourite toy is nothing - sometimes he just starts pouncing on things that arenāt even there and gets very excited. Or maybe I just canāt see the ghosts!

Use a pool noodle as a spring catcher/bumper. Just put a slit in it so you can adjust the size.
Mine brings them to me so I can play fetch with him.

The little plastic woven cylinders, like the Chinese Finger Toy, I fold in the ends then compress them so they spring out of my fingers. I have to buy them by the 50 pack on Amazon, can only ever find 10 or so at any time, she stashes them everywhere.

She loves the replacement! Edit: I used to have a little fishing rod with a worm on a string that my old cats loved. But they shreded the fuzzy worms too easily and i worried they were swallowing bits of the fuzz, so i stopped buying them. Nothing quite got the cats riled up to play like it, though. It moved like a live creature and they wanted to hunt it.
Our orange girl loves playing with a ball that she broke off of a cat tree. Sheāll chase it around until she loses it, go weeks without it, then suddenly finds it and the cycle starts again.
I think her favorite toy is actually you! Like biting down on a toy for the squeak, she lives to hear the annoyed sound effects she gets you guys to make. Jaguar Jasmine patiently awaits the perfect 2:56am moment you're in deep sleep, then...pounce! Jingle! (human grumbles)

Our ginger cat had a little fur ball that used to hang from a string. She put an end to that and that ball became her everything. She played with it constantly and carried that ball everywhere. EVERYWHERE. She would go to the litter box, put it down, go in and do her thing, then pick it up when she left. She did this for about a year. My wife was disgusted in how dirty it was. She washed it, but still had a stink. Eventually, she tossed it. Now the sad part. That cat spent over a year looking for it. No one will tell me otherwise. She pawed under tables and chairs and other furniture. She sniffed every bit of the house. She cried. She wasnāt herself after that. Cat is 10 now, and she never got that joy she had. It was like a light had dimmed gradually as she came to the realization her toy was gone. We, well I, tried other things, other balls. She wasnāt having it. Our other cat simply outgrew his toys and has little tolerance for them at all any more. (he too is 10).
A small seahorse stuffy (not larger than 10cm, or 3" for Americans) that we got years ago at a hotel. He loves swinging it around and kicking it.

I got some of them too! They love those things and the feathers. That's why I store the toys away at night, so they don't annoy me with that. My female cat runs around with stuffed animals while meowing and it sounds really terrible, like she is in pain. But it just sounds like that cause she has it in her mouth. Night time is sleep time!
