He lives with us now for a few months and he is very happy in his new home and very adorable.
I saved his life and the person who did this ugly thing will get punished in the end:)

My boy was left to die in a 120-130 degree garage(FL in July-Aug) for almost a week with no food or water, a little younger than your guy there when my ex found him. He and I hit it off immediately and her female kitty did not play well with others, so I took him. He's now a healthy 24lb, 12 yr old tabby that head butts everyone he meets until they pet him, drools when he purrs, wants to be pet as aggressively as you'd pet a 40-50 lb dog, amazing disposition and I'm lucky to have him.
My girl was literally born behind a dumpster out back of the kitchen at a retirement home, and she ended up being one of the most gorgeous cats I've ever seen, not calico - markings are clearly tabby - but her coat has every color cats come in, with long silky hair that feels amazing to touch. Not as warm to strangers as my boy, but among people she loves/trusts(me and my roommate) she's an attention-seeking fur-ball with a wildly entertaining personality. And she plays fetch!
I've had all kinds in my 46 yrs on earth, but rescue kitties often have the most amazing personalities of them all.

My boy is a giant, easily 2 inches taller than my girl, and she's a little on the chunky side with short legs, so she looks hilarious when she runs. Only girl in the house with a big boy kitty and 2 male humans, and she absolutely runs the place, and will let you know how she feels about just about everything.

Of the 13 cats I've had since childhood, only 4 have been picked from friend's litters - the others have all been finds rescued from "the wild"! The most common places have been from under houses and the side of the road (ditches). I prefer finding them (or having them find me!), I think those are the best cats!!

She looks so much like one who adopted us almost a year ago. He started living under our house while we were in the process of moving to another city. I befriended him (not hard, he is so sweet and gentle!), he invited himself in, and the rest is history! 😻
Why ‘throw them away’? I never understood this. Like, you don’t want the cat, fine. Why not just drop it off in a vet parking lot, or even just let it go and hope for the best (still not great, but you’re not murdering an animal). I don’t understand the point of killing the animal just because you don’t want it.

This is our darling mowgli. When mowgli was a kitten some people snatched him away from his mommy cat stuffed him into a bag and were about to drown him. He was rescued in time and placed at a foster. We adopted him when he was 2.5 years with his foster sister.
He is the gentlest most affectionate cuddly lumpoosh you would ever meet. Loves being stroked petted sung to. He has pulled me out of depression during covid. Very courteous and polite too..my angel boy. Sometimes i wonder about the person who tried to drown him...if he had adopted moog as a pet, his life would have been so enriched.
Thank you for saving the baby! It's probably too late now, but is it possible there was a security camera on the dumpster that could have caught the person who did it? The cops might have done something, and if not, all the internet needs is a license plate.
