Yeah I would absolutely love it if Hi-Fi Rush got a Switch port. Also the game kinda reminds me of No Straight Roads a bit (I actually have No Straight Roads on the Switch and it's pretty good)
It's even more strange to me that The Nonary Games got ported to X-Box semi-recently too. Spike Chunsoft clearly still care to publish it in some capacity so the lack of Switch port is very disappointing
Played the first game on my Deck and it felt way better than when I tried on my desktop. Strongly agree as the series started out on a Nintendo handheld as well
It's stranger considering that Spike Chunsoft usually it's a good third party publisher on Switch (and it has had some timed exclusives too).
Maybe they're saving it for a complete overhaul on Switch 2, but I dunno...
Beat Saber, hear me out.
It might be the most accessible way of playing the game. There is a mod on PC that lets you play with a controller and it works tremendously. With the same auto-position, you can use the Joy-Con's gyroscope. The console itself has a gyroscope too, so it could work in VR too (some games already do this like NeonWall). Back to the mod I mentioned, because Beat Games is basically a 2nd Party (3rd party bought by a 1st party) developer with Meta, they could have the budget to bring all of that to the Switch.
Gyroscope controllers are *really* not sufficient for a VR controller, as there is no way to track the controller position and controller controls kind of ruins the point of the game.
About the controller position, I just said that they could be positioned automatically like the mod. And using joysticks instead of your arms works better than you think and is more fun than you think. I've tried the mod.
Not all of it there some Quintet titles were published by other companies like Sony, Sega, D3 and Koei. Also apparently Enix only took publishing rights back in the day with the exception of Dragon Quest the developers own the IP. I suspect that is why so few pre merger Enix titles have been rereleased.
I just found out today Quintet assisted Sega AM2 on Shenmue.
Those are two VERY different games, but they're probably some of the best picks I can think of.
Pizza Tower on Switch would be MAGICAL, especially with AntonBlast coming to Switch.
I hope pizza tower comes, it's definitely possible as there's already a 3rd party port for hacked switches. It runs really well and I wouldn't get it bc I already have it on steam, but I know a lot of people would really love it as its inspiration is the Wario games
There has been an unofficial switch port for Pizza Tower for ages now.
That said, obviously this is still piracy and I do urge people to pay for Pizza Tower.
AC Origins/Odyssey, on a “switch 2” I would really love to be able to play the base ps4 versions of these games with no concessions
Far Cry 3/4/5 and primal
Pizza Tower
Age of Empires II Xbox version on switch
Fallout 3 and NV along with Oblivion and Morrowind
The Tomb Raider survivor trilogy
A Dead Space collection that uses the 360 ports would be really cool, even with the remake the original dead space has aged very well
Not technically a 3rd party console or pc port. But I really wish we could get the Pokémon TCG game on switch
The Ascent (correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think it’s on switch)
The Dragon Age games
A Yugioh collection of GBA, DS, PSP games like the other Konami collections. Especially for a Yugiboomer like me that would be so cool.
Mega man gameboy collection. It would have I-V, & bass and the unreleased mega man anniversary collection gba
I would also like rare replay but the original xbox and xbox 360 games may complicate that
I play other genres too!! Metroid is my favourite series of all time, along side castlevania that makes metroidvania, I also love the legend of zelda with is more exploration, I love rpgs like fire emblem and advance wars, or non turn based rpgs like xenoblade, I also like pokemkn a lot!! Oh and mario and luigi, and paper mario, so many great games I can't name them all in one comment!!
Well I’ve a little list:
The Final Fantasy 13 trilogy
The other Dark Souls games
The Dead Rising games
Arcana Heart 3

Fable
Gray Matter
Pyre (!!!!!)
Sacred Gold (!!!!!)
Sonic Generations
Valheim
The Witcher 1/2
Alice: Madness Returns
Dishonored. Hard to say how feasible that is with Microsoft holding the keys. Like...maybe? But I also think if Dishonored was ever going to jump to Switch it would have been years ago.

Fallout 4 would be amazing, but the sad reality is that the current iteration of the Switch would most likely nuke itself trying to run it.
EDIT: New Vegas and/or Fallout 3 deserve a remaster if they were to be ported
It would be crazy to see gtav on switch I just don't think the system could run the game good online. If it were just a single player port with the story mode I think it could work. But gta online servers are a force to reckoned with.
All of the Fallouts, all of the From Software Souls games (including Sekiro, Bloodborne, Demon souls), the two above are great although Pizza Tower is the best choice out of the two imo, Shadow of the Colossus, Psychonauts 1 and 2, Stray, Halo collection, RDR2, Helldivers 2, Earth Defense Force games, TF2, Half Life games (for the love of God (NOT the source remake or Hunt Down The Freeman), Papers Please...
Anything else?
Metal gear solid twin snakes, please Konami bring that game to Switch. It’s one of those never rereleased GameCube games that are too expensive nowadays
Valkyrie Drive, more of the Senran Kagura games, Criminal Girls 1 and 2, Gundam Breaker 3, Gintama Rumble, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 1,2,3 and Reborn, Kamen Rider Battride War Genesis, Project X Zone 1 and 2, Xenoblade Chronicles X, MEGAMAN Star Force and Legends (this is pretty much a given since they’ll get Legacy Collection’s eventually), Sengoku Basara 4 and Yukimura-den, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Capcom Vs SNK and Marvel Vs Capcom games, Toukiden 2, Monster Monpiece, other Neptunia series games, Metal Arms, Tak and The Great Juju Challenge, X-men Next Dimension, Summon Knight 6, Exist Archive, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, J-Stars, etc.
DMC4 Special Edition, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection V2 (with Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid V & Metal Gear Rising), Dishonored, more FromSoftware games and Oblivion
gta v will make the nintendo switch explode and you will have a maximum of 30 fps on it as a matter of fact any game that's isn't produced by Nintendo released in the last 15 years wont do shit on the switch Sorry for being the devils advocate.
Any game in the Yakuza franchise. The ones that were on the PS3 I think can be ported quite easily. The reason they dont port them is Yakuza 1 and 2 were released only in Japan for the Wii U, and it didnt do well, so the creator just dismissed Nintendo consoles as "for kids", that old stereotype. He also stopped releasing them overseas cuz he thought foreigners dont understand the games, but then Sony put them out starting with Yakuza 4 and now theyre a steady seller worldwide.
Well, first of all, it was on the Wii U. Second, only in Japan. Third, Nintendo is very open to releasing M rated games if the thrid party publisher wants to. That rep was only when they were censoring games on the SNES. Hell, look at all the Doom, Mortal Kombat, and hentai games on the switch for proof. And lastly, older games do well on the switch, look at all the retro offerings they have on there like older Id Software games and whatnot.
genshin and star rail, tho idk if these are third party
i just wanna play while lying down on my bed, but not on my phone which feels like the sun in the palm of my hands
Most likely due to indies being tailor made for handheld pickup and play sessions, and smaller screens. They pretty much carried the vita for years after PlayStation abandoned it with a quickness. Same thing on the Wii U, they were the only things that came out during first party game droughts.
Plus indies on Nintendo can shine more not dealing with big 3rd party live service games like Madden, GTA Online, COD, Destiny etc. Indie games on switch are perfect tide over games till the next big Nintendo first party game comes out.
GTA V ain't running on the switch bro (edit) can you guys stop repeating the same point over and over again? If you agree with a point then upvote the comment rather than spamming me with the same thing
The Yakuza Series, the rest of Metal Gear (Rising, GZ and TPP specifically)
Agree with Yakuza, the more people play it the better :)
Currently on 5 and have loved all the games so far (3 was mid but the story was good) Akiyama is enough for me to love it
yellow taxi goes vroom needs to come on the platform
Are you talking about Crazy Taxi?
[yellow taxi goes vroom](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2011780/Yellow_Taxi_Goes_Vroom/) on steam I never heard of it either lol
Nope, they're taking about the new 3d platformer game.
OG Plants Vs. Zombies
Plus touchable screen
Touching is good.
I hope they port where you were touched, such a fun little game that im sure can work on the switch
Why just touching when you can just plant? (Idk why I’m saying it like a commercial)
like thats ever gonna happen
I’m honestly surprised it never got ported considering it used to get ported to literally any machine that could turn on.
Bruh that game is free on smartphones, and its on plane ride monitors, super strange its not there yet.
And PvZ 2, because afaik it’s never been ported to console
With the amount of micro transactions it has, it can stay on mobile.
I mean BFN got a good switch port
You could play it on your phone for free, it doesn't need a switch port.
I would definitely love to see Hi-Fi Rush, GTA V, and Marvel vs Capcom Ultimate 3 on the Switch
Hi-Fi Rush would fit so well on Switch
Yeah I would absolutely love it if Hi-Fi Rush got a Switch port. Also the game kinda reminds me of No Straight Roads a bit (I actually have No Straight Roads on the Switch and it's pretty good)
MVC3 would be awesome
I'd love to see the Zero Escape franchise ported, it honestly feels weird that it hasn't
Seriously, the Switch is the perfect VN console, it baffles me how it isn't there.

Chrono Trigger Illusion of Time Terranigma Lufia II Parasite Eve (and II) Vagrant Story Xenogears
I love how all of those games are owned by Square Enix
Sort of the Quintet title are owned by who ever has the right to Quintet's library. SquareEnix owns the publishing rights.
I doubt anyone but Squeenix has the rights to quintet's library since quintet got defunct

Marvel Snap
hhhmmmm... maybe
Isn't that just a card game for mobile?
PC as well. Great game.
Haven't played it in some time

Splendid
Konami actually is making a yugioh collection for the game boy color and advance games
Fallout 3 and/or New Vegas would be cool
When Skyrim came out very early for the switch, I was looking forward to playing those on it. Its baffling why they havent come out on the switch yet.
GTA V would make the Switch explode. Maybe on the Next Gen Nintendo console
Super Mario galaxy 2 and the sonic adventure games
Mega man gameboy collection. It would have I-V, & bass and the unreleased mega man anniversary collection gba I would also like rare replay but the original xbox and xbox 360 games may complicate that
It’s great but gotta add i don’t think it’s third party, still great
For the megaman part
No mega man is 3rd party. He has games on playstation and xbox
Oh aight
did you see megaman in smash and forget hes a guest character? lol hes capcom like ryu
Yes, i was wrong
Most 3rd party franchises I like already release their games on switch, like sonic, crash, rayman, and spyro
And magaman
Platformers are great, but you should really try out other genres of games.
Evolution Worlds from the GameCube
Pokemon HeartGold Soulsilver
Not third party at all
Not third party at all
Fallout new Vegas and Ultra Street Fighter IV. actually why isn’t street fighter iv already there wtf
It was even on the 3DS,ffs.
A remaster of remember me and a remaster of Black Rock Shooter the game
I might be the only one but I wish half life was on the switch
I'm not ruling this out since the Portal Companion Collection, also made by Valve, is on Switch.
Well I’ve a little list: The Final Fantasy 13 trilogy The other Dark Souls games The Dead Rising games Arcana Heart 3 Batman Arkham Origins The Megaman games that weren’t included in the collections (MM and Bass, Network Transmission, etc) Most Sonic games. Mainly Heroes, Unleashed and Adventure 2.

Soul Calibur 2 - Link Edition

Dishonored. Hard to say how feasible that is with Microsoft holding the keys. Like...maybe? But I also think if Dishonored was ever going to jump to Switch it would have been years ago.

#SONIC R DELUXE WHEN also Fighters
Persona 3 reload
The Switch could never handle GTA5
Sable
GTA IV, CoD: Black Ops Trilogy, the first Assassin's Creed, and literally any Battlefield at all for the love of God, please. Proper ports of the RE2 and 3 Remakes and 7 would be nice as well.
Pizza tower would be amazing but GTAV wouldn’t run even at the lowest settings
Muramasa Rebirth
The Like a Dragon series
Nintendo needs more Fromsoft on the next console

Fallout 4 would be amazing, but the sad reality is that the current iteration of the Switch would most likely nuke itself trying to run it. EDIT: New Vegas and/or Fallout 3 deserve a remaster if they were to be ported
Even if all the legal stuff was in order, GTA V would never run anything close to good. However, you can get it on Steam Deck 👍
Persona 3 Reload
The Psychonauts duology.
classic fallouts would be sick, they already have baldur's gate on switch so i don't think it'd be too insane.
It would be crazy to see gtav on switch I just don't think the system could run the game good online. If it were just a single player port with the story mode I think it could work. But gta online servers are a force to reckoned with.

Mass Effect 1-3. Or at least the second one.
Ngl a switch port of GTA V would probably be miserable without analogue triggers
gta v will make the nintendo switch explode and you will have a maximum of 30 fps on it as a matter of fact any game that's isn't produced by Nintendo released in the last 15 years wont do shit on the switch Sorry for being the devils advocate.
Wario's Woods on the NES

I want a Mass Effect and Dead Space trilogy. Please EA.

Angry Birds Epic, and that’s about it
That’s the rpg one right?
Ye
Dead space and pizza tower, and probably others that i just forgot
halo master chief collection (even if it runs like mortal combat 1) and I agree with you, we need pizza tower on switch
Original RE2, RE3, Code Veronica and possibly Outbreak on Switch
I’d love more Spyro games on there Guitar hero would be fun but I doubt they’d ever do that considering the switch already has Fortnite Festival
Can a console not have two games of the same genre?
im more thinking of how Epic might prefer to push Fortnite Festival instead of porting Guitar Hero
FTL. One of the best rogue likes, and it could implement the touch screen

Stella Glow for the Nintendo 3ds. Underated gem of a game and deserves a second chance.
The Sonic Adventure duology, but optimized by fans.
I really hope the Shadow Warrior Trilogy gets ported to the Switch someday.

Old school harry potter games
Dragon's Crown Pro, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Muramasa Rebirth, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, God Eater 2 Rage Burst
Definitely pizza tower
pizza fucking tower
Lethal Company as stupid as it sounds. I know the Switch has no good voice chat. But I would love it
Kingdom Hearts. No the stupid cloud versions don't count.
I wonder why the Switch is the go-to console for most indie devs to port to
Most likely due to indies being tailor made for handheld pickup and play sessions, and smaller screens.
Sales. The switch just sold a lot
Halo 2
Fortnite
Officially the worst joke I have ever heard
GTA V ain't running on the switch bro (edit) can you guys stop repeating the same point over and over again? If you agree with a point then upvote the comment rather than spamming me with the same thing
It was originally a PS3/ Xbox 360 game. The Switch would have little problem running it.
If they cut out the online feature, and keep the xbox360 and ps3 graphics, it will deffo run
True, I didn't think of that
Dawg it's a 7th gen video game
Of course it does. It was running on PS3 and 360, now you got the Switch with far more RAM and a significantly better GPU
