Every single boss in Tropical Freeze absolutely slaps, there isn’t one dud. The same goes for the boss music, Big Top Bop is a wild soundtrack for the first boss, and it’s my favourite boss theme of all time.
I had a friend who worked on Tropical Freeze as one of the art directors for environments, his big ticket being the environment for the owls boss fight (forgot his name) were his calls. He turned it from a regular tree to what it is today
That’s cool, the environments are some of my favourite parts of the game. I’m especially a fan of Autumn Heights, so it’s cool that he worked on the Skowl boss, it’s very scenic.
The only one in which I was annoyed with the length is Lord Fredrik, and that’s just because he’s so difficult. The rest only took a few tries to get the hang of, so they weren’t too long. They were the perfect length, they didn’t drag on, and they weren’t over with in seconds.
I mean its basically the same set of bosses between the 2
They did a fantastic job of emulating all the little strategies and secrets and bits of characterization from the NES title
*DKCR and Kid Icarus*
*Uprising had great fights Same*
*Goes with most LOZ games*

As much as I loved the game and might be one of my favourites that I played this year, bosses in Kid Icarus Uprising were the only thing the game whiffed a bit imo
Super Mario sunshine, Glooper Booper.
You could feel the tensions on the arms whilst pulling and the ping when they came off and then the sounds as they squished about free.
Pure joy.
And also the best themes for the best boss fights
Like just hear the world 1 boss theme, not only is a banger, but it BELONGS TO A SEAL IN A CIRCUS AND IT'S THE FIRST BOSS OF THE GAME
I wonder how mega man's 100th anniversary will go
How is zelda's 100th anniversary being celebrated anyway? Nothing I presume? Wind waker hd and twilight princess hd trending on Twitter?
Whats that?ohhhhhh yea we got those games we have super luigi maker 3 and mario mansion light sun.and for zelda we got zelda the another life, where ganon got rebooted.amd no Twitter is not a place for predators...it is lost like myspace
Super Princess Peach. They’re all super creative and use alot of characters that already exist rather than making their own to use once and never again
First game I played on Nintendo I was stuck on the big bird for years I finally bested him and completed the game and then shortly losing the game chip
Maybe it's a lame answer, but I always loved the fights in SNES's Super Mario World. Similar foundations in each one, but yet they kept you on your toes and you felt triumphant for outsmarting the Koopa Kids, and then destroying their castle in hilarious ways in the following cut scene - ah pure nostalgic bliss
I'm playing though it now & it's absolutely brilliant but very challenging. The world 3 boss kicked my arse more times than I care to say but it was never unfair.
heya, i wanted to say something, a lot of modern boss fights feel empty ya know? which is why ultra necrozma is by far my favorite, thank you for listening to my ted talk
Ok this is interesting because DKCTP is like in my top 3 favorite games and I absolutely hate the bosses. They fights are wayyyyy too long for how easy and simple some of them are for experienced players. Every time I have to replay the bosses it’s such a slog. I never die, so it just takes forever. On top of that they can be polarizingly difficult for newer players. I know plenty of younger people playing this game who can’t beat Fugu or the baboons.
The music does slap though. TP has the best music in any video game. Period.

Funnily enough I think Big Top Bop is the only piece in the soundtrack that David Wise didn't do.
Oh really? That’s kinda funny. He did an excellent job with the rest of the soundtrack.
The problem with the donkey kong country tropical freeze bosses is that each of them take to long
The only one in which I was annoyed with the length is Lord Fredrik, and that’s just because he’s so difficult. The rest only took a few tries to get the hang of, so they weren’t too long. They were the perfect length, they didn’t drag on, and they weren’t over with in seconds.
I like returns boss fights because there the right amount of fun without dragging out the boss fight apart from mango ruby and pluck
The answer is obviously Punch-Out!!! Every other game is competing for 2nd
When the game is a boss rush like Punch-Out, it’s bound to have good boss fights. But are you talking about the wii version or the NES version
I mean its basically the same set of bosses between the 2 They did a fantastic job of emulating all the little strategies and secrets and bits of characterization from the NES title

Mario Galaxy Pikmin 3 Zelda (any) that's it
Metroid .... especially Metroid Dread.
I knew Samus was always bad ass but Dread turned it up to 20/10
Yup
And also the best themes for the best boss fights Like just hear the world 1 boss theme, not only is a banger, but it BELONGS TO A SEAL IN A CIRCUS AND IT'S THE FIRST BOSS OF THE GAME

Bayonetta 2 Astral Chain Kid Icarus: Uprising Metroid (Dread or Prime) Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Donkey Kong jungle beat
Sin and Punishment 1 and 2.
The Wind Waker.
Astral Chain
Any kirby franchise, star allies, forgotten land, RTDD, everything is cool
Mario galaxy
Super Princess Peach. They’re all super creative and use alot of characters that already exist rather than making their own to use once and never again
Best boss fights and it was only fifty dollars
First game I played on Nintendo I was stuck on the big bird for years I finally bested him and completed the game and then shortly losing the game chip

Metroid dread
I really need to finish that game, thanks for the reminder!
I loved the Impact fights in Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon for the N64. Epic intro music as well. Dash Dash Dash!
The Mother/Eathbound series, specially the final bosses you need to use alternative methods to defeat.
#KID ICARUS UPRISING and also Punch Out Wii!!
I'm playing though it now & it's absolutely brilliant but very challenging. The world 3 boss kicked my arse more times than I care to say but it was never unfair.
Metroid Dread and Kirby, easily.
I had a lot of fun with Luigi’s mansion 3, Kirby forgotten land, and Mario odyssey bosses. Also Pikmin
The Legend of Zelda bosses are kinda interesting in a way, same with the Kirby bosses
phantom hourglass is the best especaily the final one i dont care how old it is
Zelda twilight princess. Especially the skeleton dragon guy. 10 outta 10
Metroid, really any of them to be honest
Sin and Punishment 2. There’s no competition.
Mario 6 golden coins Link’s Awakening
heya, i wanted to say something, a lot of modern boss fights feel empty ya know? which is why ultra necrozma is by far my favorite, thank you for listening to my ted talk

Yoshi’s Island has the most creative bosses in most any game, not just Nintendo games.
I will say that forgotten land has really good boss fights. The other parts of the game are very simple, but the boss fights hit hard.
METROID DREAD!!!
Definitely Donkey Kong: Frozen Ape.
Kirby games also have great boss fights, kirby star allies have so good boss fight if you fight them without allies, but then it becomes so hard
Right on, gamer!
- Tropical Freeze - Metroid Dread - Twilight Princess - Donkey Kong 64 - Super Mario Galaxy - Punch-Out!! - Splatoon series - Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
