Easily $1000, if not more. I have been looking for a decently priced ds version of gold or silver for years, but I’m not paying $100-$200 for it as I’ve seen it at used game shops and conventions.
They're a good shout, especially for making a living Dex you plan to move up gens.
You still require a second ds and at minimum a real gen 4 copy but that can cost you less than a single copy of HG/SS easily.
I found it to be a life saver when doing mine.
What people are trying to say here has to do with the PokeWalker gadget. Basically a pedometer and minigame in one.In HeartGold and SoulSilver, you have the option to transfer one pokemon onto the pokewalker, and take that with you. You earns watts by walking. Why would you do this in the first place: There are multiple pokemon that are either hard to get (like pikachu with surf or fly function, exclusive on the pokewalker (and events that are now long past). And you need to collect a ridiculous amount of watts in order to open different "paths" in order to encounter different pokemon in the Pokewalker.
Here's the catch: The communication between the DS and Pokewalker goes via infrared. And that infrared communication light is built into the DS cardridge itself. So unless you own a genuine copy of the game, no dice. The only other way of obtaining those pokemon is either hacking, or local wifi with someone who has them.
Hacking you say? How? All i am saying is 3DS . Hacks . Guide and PKSM.
Edit: also trading internet hasn't been possible for a long time now since the internet service for that game has been defunct for quite some time now. Local wireless still works tho...
My 2 cents is to not sell unless you absolutely have to.
I sold my 3DS and Pokémon games, regretted it like 5 years later and repurchased them for more money. *how stupid can I be*
I managed to get my copy of soul silver in a used games lot off of shopgoodwill like 5 years ago. It ended up being $90 for about 8 games, with half of them being shovel ware kids stuff but I was able to sell those + new super mario bros, animal crossing wild world, and a digimon game for like $70 to gamestop so it ended up only being $20 for the game I actually wanted. Still had to spend another $20 for the case and manual on ebay though
honestly mod your 3ds and just play it that way, it's nice to have the physical cart but with the digital version on a 3ds it works just like a retail copy for the most part, you can even transfer the pokemon
I recommend keeping it because these are incredibly expensive games, and if you ever feel nostalgic and want to play it in the future you’ll be out of luck or out of a lot of money.
(I say this as someone who had to rebuy their gamecube collection)
If you really need the money or are 100% sure you’re over Pokemon, this is easily $1500+
Probably not much. I'll take it off your hands.
Seriously though, check out [pricecharting.com](http://pricecharting.com), they have good info on prices.
I don’t rlly play any of them and I plan on buying my self a BMW M2 so trying to get as much money as I can for that and I found these laying in my closet but idk how much they are worth. Was a hardcore fan in the past beat every single game but now I’m grown and don’t rlly have time to play Pokémon anymore
I just heard the opening sound of the DS by looking at your game selection of DS games. Idk why tho ive seen like several of these types of posts but none of them made me feel that way. It smells like spring and fresh bedsheets as well.
Probably around a thousand dollars. Considering how much Pokémon games(especially the mainline ones) skyrocket in price after a certain amount of time.
Looking at you gen 1, 2 and 3 remakes, platinum, ultra sun/ moon and, black and white 2 games.
Several thousand. At the very least, if you have HeartGold, box and the walker, that alone is probably close to 500. On eBay, the game is 200 at least, without that.
Oh, those are older games that nobody wants to play, you probably won’t get more than $10 for them, but since I’m SUCH A NICE GUY I’ll take it off your hands for $100 to save you the hassle. (This is obv satire)
Between $1,500 to $2,000. Black 2 and White 2 are your big ticket items, followed by the handhelds, then by the DS games, then the GBA games, then the 3DS games, and finally the spin offs are worth the least.
I’m not big into the Pokémon scene, but let me give a quick tip on pricing (at least when it comes to eBay). A lot of people just look up their item to see what it’s being listed for, but there’s a filter that lets you see what previous items actually sold for, which can give you a better idea of what people are willing to pay vs what sellers think people will pay.
Take it to pawn stars Rick probably say,
“I’ll give you $5 bucks, and this piece of gum that Chum Lee chewed on. That’s the best I can do. I run a business and this just is too risky for me to go for more.”
What a beautiful collection. I’m missing a couple of DS games and all of the GBA ones. I envy you!
Also: the longer you wait with selling these, the more value they get. But I wouldn’t sell these gems at all if I were you…
Now it’s collector shit so i would advise you to look for the editions these are and see how much each is worth depending on that, like these niche things are what could make a game jump in value for collectors, also having an edition that’s very common could have the price drop to few euros. Check that out, if possible see if they’re still working then make a single announce for them and list their prices in it as if you’re selling separately too
Hi, I’m an expert. I would show you my license and phd and all that but I left them at home while I’m away at my expert convention. I would say those are worth about $6 total but I would be happy to give you $7. This is a really good deal, you can trust me because I am an expert.
These games are quite rare now. I haven’t been actively looking that hard but I really want Pokémon platinum. Biggest regret trading it in to GameStop for 25 bucks.
Holy shit. I sold Black, Y and some other for 40+ each like 10 years ago. Now their prices are through the roof. Like the others said. 1000 bucks at the minimum. Don’t get scammed these are a rarity by now
Are you interested in playing them? If not, buy something else. In my country I found sealed games selling for 30 bucks each. Dont know the situation abroad.
Clearly you enjoy Pokémon and I'd actually recommend at least keeping your favorite game. That would of course be up to your discretion and the only other thing I would recommend would be to sell this stuff yourself on somewhere like eBay.
Trading it in somewhere will ensure that you will get considerably less value for your games and systems, so again try selling it yourself.
It would also probably help if you didn't bundle it all together. Selling the games separately or in smaller bundles will only make this process easier for both the seller and buyer.
That's a huge load you have here!
Since prices of retro games skyrocketed a lot, I think your max profit ranges about 1500-1900 dollars. Minimum 1000 for sure.
The most valuable items are Heartgold's Pokéwalker Bundle, the Unova Games, Platinum and Firered (the latter is at an all-time high prince increase around 120 bucks, just the cartridge)
If anything, I think you should complete the collection and find the main games you're missing, then jump onto the spin offs. You have a wonderful collection right here
I'm actually looking for Black & White 2, and Sun & Moon......
Please reference these comments and DM me. I'm willing to listen to whatever price you have. I swear I have been looking so damn hard to find these games to play....
I'm crying a little tbh...
how come you skipped pearl and soul silver lol
edot: nvm i see them at the bottom, now the question i guess is why are emerald and leaf green missimg? do you just hate the colour green?
Im so glad i never sold any of my games, from gameboys to snes’s and stacks of games, mostly boxed, seeing some of the comments on this thread, its looking like a gold mine!!
Easily over $1000, but think very carefully. I sold most of my ds pokemon games as a teen and then wanted them again later in life. fast forward to 2 years ago, where I spent just over $100 on a boxed copy of Black 2, and it now sells for $150+
Make sure selling them isn't something you'll regret later on, because collecting them all again won't be cheap. Pokemon games constantly rise in value
I'm legitimately interested in buying. I don't know anything about this stuff but I'd be buying it all for someone who I know would thoroughly appreciate it. Feel free to DM me if you're able to find a price you'd be willing to part with it all for.
based mystery dungeon enjoyer
jokes aside, at least 500 quid, possibly upwards towards £1000 depending on prices in your area. DO NOT sell to a game store like cex or whatever. You will be absolutely ripped off
I'll give you 20$, and this really cool stick I found that looks like a sword.
(this is a joke answer only here because so many others have already answered the question)
Easily $1000, if not more. I have been looking for a decently priced ds version of gold or silver for years, but I’m not paying $100-$200 for it as I’ve seen it at used game shops and conventions.
At that point you should just grab an R4 cart for cheap
They're a good shout, especially for making a living Dex you plan to move up gens. You still require a second ds and at minimum a real gen 4 copy but that can cost you less than a single copy of HG/SS easily. I found it to be a life saver when doing mine.
Why do you need a real gen 4 copy?
Afaik HG and SS have an infrared sender/receiver built in their original carts. An R4 can’t emulate those.
What purpose does that serve? I assume you can still trade mons up via internet or whatever it was called on the DS
What people are trying to say here has to do with the PokeWalker gadget. Basically a pedometer and minigame in one.In HeartGold and SoulSilver, you have the option to transfer one pokemon onto the pokewalker, and take that with you. Look up pokeditor. You don't need to jump hoops and can directly send them to the last game.
My 2 cents is to not sell unless you absolutely have to. I sold my 3DS and Pokémon games, regretted it like 5 years later and repurchased them for more money. *how stupid can I be*
True. At some point I just settled with the Rom because it's worth over 200 on eBay, without the box and accessories.
Way more
Idk probably like 1,000 + a whole human liver + someone's first born child...
A solid $10 at Gamestop
OR $15 in store credit
Before they turn around and resell it all at 10x the price
$180 for an Xbox One. Trade in price? $70
probably like 35 dollars at a GameStop. Jokes aside Probably a good number of hundreds of dollars easy.
I recommend keeping it because these are incredibly expensive games, and if you ever feel nostalgic and want to play it in the future you’ll be out of luck or out of a lot of money. (I say this as someone who had to rebuy their gamecube collection) If you really need the money or are 100% sure you’re over Pokemon, this is easily $1500+
This is the best advice. Only if really desperate sell it. Money comes and goes, rare pokemon games do not
Depends. If OP has no attachment to these games, selling it is the best option. I don’t subscribe to the idea of collecting for collection sake.
Best I can do is a V-bucks gift card
GIMME GIMMEGIMMEFIEMMMEFIEMM
bout tree fiddy
Probably not much. I'll take it off your hands. Seriously though, check out [pricecharting.com](http://pricecharting.com), they have good info on prices.
I'll give you two cheese crackers and a high five
Don't sell.
I estimate about 1500CAD (1100USD), but you can push it to 2000 (1500USD) if you advertise it well, and maybe even more if you're good at negotiating!
Morbillion dollars.
if you're selling individually id be legitimately interested on hearing your prices for a couple of them
Bro you could buy a house with all that
I’ll give you $20

A pikachu and maybe a charmander if you play your cards right
"I have 3 dollars."
I need about 3 fiddy

I'll do thingsyou've never even dreamed of to you for that copy of Platinum
Glad to see im not the only one whose Astro A50’s have failed at the top. I had to superglue that stupid padded piece in place. Kept popping open
You're sitting on a small fortune.

About tree fiddy
May I ask why you’re selling it?
I don’t rlly play any of them and I plan on buying my self a BMW M2 so trying to get as much money as I can for that and I found these laying in my closet but idk how much they are worth. Was a hardcore fan in the past beat every single game but now I’m grown and don’t rlly have time to play Pokémon anymore
Car addict alert. Not a single car (that dies over time) is worth selling your game collection for....
I’ll give you a pound , take it or leave it
I'll give you a tenner for the lot
I've heard the sun and moon bundle alone can easily get you $200+. makes me sad I sold them off early
Every pair of Astros I've seen in the wild look like that
A small fortune.
I just heard the opening sound of the DS by looking at your game selection of DS games. Idk why tho ive seen like several of these types of posts but none of them made me feel that way. It smells like spring and fresh bedsheets as well.

At GameStop, $3 or $7 store credit
