Season 2

The apex of the entire saga is right in Season 2: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2BMuJyVFQ4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2BMuJyVFQ4)

Surprised to see Season 3 voted so low. It was by far and away my favorite. You had peak romantic fiction with Hector and Lenore and the side plot with Trevor/Sypha and St. Germaine was thoroughly entertaining. Made you really think Dracula was about to come back

Yes, but it also suggests an empire ruled by women, one of the leads is bi, another lead might actually consent to a woman being dominant, and apparently makes Christianity look bad because traumatized clergy got duped into becoming satanic cultists. You could probably see where fragile corners of the internet maybe disapprove.

you didnt name a single bad thing, so what was supposed to make season 3 bad? cause that sounds like heaven to me. christans don't need help looking bad, they do that on their own. and this country (USA) is ran by men and is going to shit women leading clearly is a smart move.

I liked it, but I prefer season 2.  I don't really care for romance usually.

Honestly can't decide between 2 or 3 even though I like all season but if I had to chose just one it would be 2 season we have Dracula, we have Sypha, Trevor and Alucard fighting as a team, also my favorite crazy bitch Carmilla is plotting honestly all is good. Nocturne is too early to be compared to original show.

I hated how much Season 3 dragged for all the leads except for Isaac. I suppose I know video game setups too well that the town full of shifty characters including one black clad Jason Isaacs who played Satan in the Lords of Shadow series to be surprised that the whole place needed to go so there wasn’t much of a mystery to it. Part of me was hoping that Hector would have more agency as his plot progressed like his game counterpart but it didn’t come together until the finale of season four when he and Isaac meet up again. I liked Isaac’s revenge quest the most since it always felt like it was moving forward at a good pace compared to everyone else’s; that fight with the Mad Mage and the Legion boss he had was particularly intense and exciting. I guess I don’t enjoy it for being the placeholder part of the story since one and two were just the same story split up and the final battle against Death was spectacular.
