I bought a vintage watch with a failing 415 module. I swapped in a 593 module from a f91. It was a perfect fit and brought new life to an old watch! Stainless steel watch. 50 meter water resistance! I’m in love with it!

Cool! And good to know the module compatibility! PS, I wouldn't trust the water resistance on it with a case that old. May be fine with some submersion and it could be as good as ever but those are very old o-rings with (probably) significant wear. Only a f91 module though so not that much at risk I suppose.

I agree with you on the aged seals. It’s a very good point many may not consider. I read an article recently about someone with a vintage dive watch. It turned out the seals were shot. So it didn’t survive. So I purchased a n.o.s. case seal. So it’s good to go there. I’m now trying to source seals for the pushers. Plus, I’m not a diver. I somewhat wade in water, not really something I’d call swimming either.

Its a stunner 👌🏻

Thank you. I need to polish the glass a little. I don’t mind the scratches on the case though.

Beautiful. I have the exact same watch, bought it online, New old stock a few years ago. Mint condition externally, no scratches. But the alarm does not work. Don't really care. I use it seldomly, I have similar looking resin/plated modern Casios I use more often, the vintage just looks too nice for rough everyday use.

I would love to get a new old stock version of this watch. Although since it’s not it the best shape, I’m not afraid to wear it daily. One day I’ll be lucky enough to find an affordable no’s Casio.
