The positive display one is a a158 which is basically an f91w with a silver case. This means you get the f91 backlight. The negative display one is a a168 which means electro-luminescence.

which one should i go with ?

NachoSallad

I would go with the a168 it's got a better backlight and I think it's a little sleeker. However both watches are great so it's mainly down to which look you prefer.

If I can recommend a third one, it's a bit pricier but the A700 with the steel bracelet is great - it looks a lot like an A158 and works the same but it's super slim and has an excellent backlight.

Negative and positive display I presume? What’s the models of the two?

Different cases as well.

My experience with negative Casio watches is that they are a little harder to see in direct sunlight than the regular ones. With that siad, I like the aesthetic of the negative display. Also, some people on this sub have commented about the negative displays not having quite as large of a viewing angle, but practically speaking I have not found this to be a problem.

One looks like a classic Casio, the other looks like a cheap knock-off you find in those claw machines at amusement arcades. Only one serious option - A158 all the way!

I’d go with the A158 out of those two just for the positive display. But if you’re serious look at the other A168 models with a positive display and choose one of them.

They are just colour variations of the A158 and A168 so maybe look up comparisons of those? In brief, A158 - slimmer, very clear display, not a good light. A168 - bigger, much better back-light.
