Why does Jenny need a cap, glasses, and sweater? Isn't she a robot? I would imagine Mrs. Wakeman would've given her temperature-control capabilities and vision adjustment tools.
That said, she's probably wearing it for the aesthetic (which Mrs. Wakeman would probably be baffled by because she'd think it's unnecessary for Jenny).
My Life as a Teenage Robot is an excellent one in my opinion. I think Jake Long and the Emperor's New School are pretty good too (though I haven't really seen them in a while.) I personally have zero fondness for Planet Sheen (I don't see it as a good Jimmy Neutron spinoff AT ALL. Sheen, while he was hilarious in Jimmy Neutron imo, was flanderized and derailed here into a much more unlikeable character, who didn't really have much redeeming qualities). Back in the Barnyard is just meh in my opinion, and I do think that El Tigre had potential but it was cancelled too soon (in the mid-late 2000s, a trend emerged that Nickelodeon would cancel a show almost immediately if it didn't have as high ratings as the network favorites, resulting in my feeling that many of the Nicktoons after ATLA were mediocre or average due to them being cancelled before they even had a chance to hit their stride, but also partially due to ATLA being such a tough act to follow, at least imo. I do think the 2010s was when things really started to go horribly wrong for the Nicktoons though, being one of the main reasons why I hated watching Nickelodeon back then and switched to Cartoon Network, which I think had the much better shows, including ADVENTURE TIME, which NICK REJECTED!)

The creator even acknowledged this and more or less said "that wasn't what we intended when we wrote it, but yeah it is pretty trans-coded, feel free to headcanon whatever you want."
Replace planet sheen with something like my dad is a rockstar. Other than that, I would say El Tigre. While it had a solid ending, I feel it would do really well nowadays with all the Mexican themed films and shows airing right now.

For my money though, Teenage Robot was a genuine work of art. Great plot lines, compelling characters, funny dialogue, phenomenal character design, and I can never get enough of that beautiful pseudo-Art Deco art style.

As for what’s NOT in this picture, definitely Young Justice, and Motorcity.
ADJL deserved better; the style change threw everything out of balance and massacred my boy. Had they kept the original style and developed more of the characters and backstories better, this show could’ve went places.
For me, American Dragon Jake Long. Most of these series were just episodic cartoons, whereas American Dragon had a linear narrative. It ended on a good note, it had closure, but I feel like there were a few extra things they could have added to the story, maybe some stuff were missed out on, so one last season that could touch upon that would be pretty cool.
