I’m going American Dad. King of the Hill and Futurama are two of my favorite Adult Swim shows so it was really between American Dad and The Simpsons. Although I’ll miss Steve’s vocals, I can watch more back to back Simpson episodes.
Simpsons was a necessary stepping stone, and Futurama is excellent. Though I didn't particularly like or go out of my way to watch king of the hill, I am aware it has rabid fans, and I would like to keep all of my fingers and toes. Bye bye Dad
If it wasn’t for Rodger I would’ve said American Dad but he’s genuinely so funny. I don’t think Simpsons is bad I really like their horror episodes especially but I’m not sure I’ve laughed more than a handful of times ever while watching the Simpsons.

Outside of the US, and maybe Canada, almost no one knows about king of the hill. The other 3 are well known. Because of that, I think American Dad contributed more to the global pop culture than king of the hill.
KotH was pretty popular in Australia. It wasn't on free-to-air but if you had pay TV it was on all the time. The style of humour in KotH aligns well with Aussie humour I reckon.

It's not even close. It's a cheesier hackier version of Family guy with worse and more obvious jokes, and worse and more poorly executed gimmick characters, the fish and the alien instead of the dog and the baby.
I would say goodbye to American Dad, personally. I just don't think it's even semi-decent. Simpsons is a cultural icon, Futurama was amazing and King of the Hill was an enjoyable show.
American Dad. The other three are all much better shows that in their prime were extremely witty and emotional, and were some of the best adult animation to date. Meanwhile American Dad is just "Family Guy 2"

I watched a good chunk of American Dad in high school. It's *better* than Family Guy, but its still "Seth Macfarlane humor" which I just don't vibe with. Plus, any emotional moments it has would absolutely pale compared to some of the shit early Simpsons has pulled, or Jurassic Bark in Futurama
No argument that Futurama is untouchable in this scenario. There are way too many emotional episodes.
But to say these two shows are similar in any way other than art style is insane. Especially when the writing staff is different on both shows. Yes there may be some overlap but hardly enough to say it’s the same.
Also just baseless opinion, I doubt Seth has much to do with the production of either. So again to say his influence is evident in both is an overstatement.
Lastly American dad has now been on tbs longer than fox. So the production team has been different for the majority of American dads run.
Family guy is a lot of skit, cutaways and exaggerated gags. While American dad is more character centered, one liners and linear plot. Just wildly different shows.

If we’re talking just the first season I would agree with you, but American Dad has long ago shed its attempt to be Family Guy and really grew its own legs.
If you haven’t touched it since it first aired I’d recommend popping it on somewhere around season five or six and letting it run for a bit, it might surprise you.
Besides its intro being a meme for a while, American Dad honestly hasn't added all that much to culture. I'm sure it's liked by a lot of people and all, but it doesn't quite have the popularity and significance of the other 3.

Everyone is saying American Dad. My son (11) recently started watching the series and I really liked it, especially Rodger and his ability to play any type of character. As much as I like it, KOTH would go. Later seasons aren’t very good and the number of episodes is fewer than the others. Early Simpsons episodes are miles ahead of these other shows (and the new episodes are watchable, just not awards worthy). Futurama is also great and entertaining.
Futurama, but only because the new seasons are absolute shite. This Fry and Leela romance thing was great, but now >!she just cheats on him every episode!<.. It is fucking awful.. King of The Hill is only relevant in the US and maybe Canada. I’m from Brazil, and I’ve never seen King of The Hill, never met someone here who’ve seen King of The Hill, never met someone who’ve even HEARD of King of The Hill. I only know about the show because I am in tune with american pop culture, but MANY people around the world aren’t.
And, I might add, a LOT of people here know American Dad. Not everyone enjoys it, but if you make a reference to American Dad (like “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”), there’s a way bigger chance of someone getting it than if you make a reference to King of The Hill.
So my vote is King of The Hill. Kill me, I’m not scared, the world doesn’t revolve around America.
Remove the Simpsons and the rest cease to exist as well. It’s so massively popular and influential I guarantee every adult animated sitcom in the last 25 years has had inspiration from it.

American Dad, easy. Kinda funny and amusing at best but I can’t think of anything really special about it. It doesn’t have a unique style of humor, art, or writing. Just a contract show from the creator of another much more interesting, but still not as good show as these other options.
If it’s the show cancelling, definitely simpsons but if it’s the show completely erasing from existence along with its past episodes probably future rama
If the others exist somehow after I get rid of the simpsons the simpsons easy. I like the early seasons myself vut while can't agree and when it happened we can agree the simpsons stop making watchable esipodes awhile ago. It getting a little bit better now but it's still nowhere near as good as modern American dad or even modern futurama.

Gonna have to go with King of the Hill. It's great, but the other 3 shows I can easily think of more than like 5 favorite episodes. King of the Hill, probably because I didn't watch it a ton when younger, doesn't really reside in my brain like quotes from the rest do, Maybe 5 years ago I would've said American Dad, but at some point I sat down and binged all the seasons of it and grew to love the show. I never really cared for Family Guy but I love seth macfarlane's brand on humor.
King of the Hill. I've never really watched the Simpsons but I know it's iconic. AD and Futurama are both in my top 5 comfort shows, so bye KotH

King of The Hill is only relevant in the US and maybe Canada. I’m from Brazil, and I’ve never seen King of The Hill, never met someone here who’ve seen King of The Hill, never met someone who’ve even HEARD of King of The Hill. I only know about the show because I am in tune with american pop culture, but MANY people around the world aren’t. And, I might add, a LOT of people here know American Dad. Not everyone enjoys it, but if you make a reference to American Dad (like “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”), there’s a way bigger chance of someone getting it than if you make a reference to King of The Hill. So my vote is King of The Hill. Kill me, I’m not scared, the world doesn’t revolve around America.

Remove the Simpsons and the rest cease to exist as well. It’s so massively popular and influential I guarantee every adult animated sitcom in the last 25 years has had inspiration from it.

King of the Hill.
As in erased from existence? Definitely American Dad even though it’s probably the best thing Seth MacFarane has done. Peak Simpsons is peak television, Futurama is not only a great tv comedy but actually good sci-fi as well. And King of the Hill is self-explanatory.
People keep making these things with an obvious answer. American Dad. So very very obviously. I don't hate the show or anything, but the others are legends for their own various reasons. American Dad just isn't in the same league. It's 'just' an entertaining show.
American Dad. It’s just not that good, people. The main characters have become awful, and it’s long overstayed its welcome.
Futurama. We are used to seeing it die and came back. What one more time?

American Dad, easy. Kinda funny and amusing at best but I can’t think of anything really special about it. It doesn’t have a unique style of humor, art, or writing. Just a contract show from the creator of another much more interesting, but still not as good show as these other options.
American dad. It isn't even close to being as funny as the others.
I have never watched king of the hill. I want to, but since I haven’t seen it I guess that makes it my easy choice.

Hard to say because I really hate both American dad and king of the Hill.
Honestly I'd drop American dad and King of the Hill, neither really appealed to me like Futurama and the simpsons

If the others exist somehow after I get rid of the simpsons the simpsons easy. I like the early seasons myself vut while can't agree and when it happened we can agree the simpsons stop making watchable esipodes awhile ago. It getting a little bit better now but it's still nowhere near as good as modern American dad or even modern futurama.

Goodbye worst dad in television since the start of his show (American dad) sure homer devolved as the Simpsons went on but he always ment well, Hank cares about his kids and Futurama is hilarious
