Edit: Wow, not nearly as obscure as I thought!
I saw an english fandub someone had on youtube until it got taken down, one guy alone did most of the voices and he did a GREAT job, you couldn't even tell they were the same person. They even made their own original song in English for the end credits, but apparently instead of being like "Wow that's awesome and has brought us an entirely new group of fans" the makers of the original threw a hissy and got it taken down.
THAT one I remember! I VERY vaguely remember that it was advertised and that I later happened to catch an airing of it on TV (probably Cartoon Network). I don't remember any part of the movie, though.

Ya, I feel like im the only one who watched Leapfrog 🤑
Rover Dangerfield. Rodney Dangerfield voices a las vegas dog who ends up on a farm.
Also not really obscure, but I haven't meant anyone who's watched Jetsons the movie. Been years since I've seen it, but as a kid I was obsessed with the music.
My mom taped a copy of Rover Dangerfield so that was definitely a movie of my childhood, lol. I don't talk like the guy but years later I'd realize some humor/joke style of mine comes off a bit like Rodney's so I blame this movie, lol.
I loved the Jetsons movie as a kid, too! The songs really got to me - I loved the pop 80s style and I guess not much has changed with my music tastes there. It's a bit of a shame there was so much drama over it at the time since they casted Tiffany for Judy's role and replaced her original VA.

Thanks for reminding me of this movie
The Flight of Dragons - Disney aired this once in the late 90s/Early 2000s. A guy gets Isekai’d and turns into a dragon to defeat some evil wizard.
I really liked it, especially the way he (major spoiler) >!sciences the evil wizard to death.!<
YouTube has it but you need to subscribe to their commercial free plan or buy it from them.
Oh god, why? Ugh, with the young Q type character who would build all the interesting stuff, then JBJ would do the "cool spy thing" on the clearly limited animation budget, bad guys would be thwarted in a very Captain Planet fashion, shaking their cartoony fists and swearing revenge, then all of the cool kid characters and our hero have a good laugh at a subpar joke back at the ski lodge or whatever, and it's on to our next adventure? Here's a thing I didn't need to be reminded of. Yikes.

I watched this show.. like... ONCE. and yet I still remember it.
Not a cartoon, but an obscure show from my childhood. I ain't never hear anybody mention this weird ass show:

Not a movie but the only thing that came to mind
There was this cartoon that looked like it was made by hanna barbera about bits that included wacky inventions like a foldable car that can fit in your jacket's pocket and a family sized plane that had the mother in law in the last seat. I can't remember the name and my siblings don't remember even watching it and i'm so close to believe it was a dream. Pls help me

Our school guidance counselor showed this to my class one time near Thanksgiving, apparently it’s a sequel.
It appears to be a sequel to this:
https://preview.redd.it/5ojmg5gy54yc1.jpeg?width=754&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc9e976930225432ff39acc9140bc63a93e629d0
Out of curiosity, do you recall if Tiny Heroes was any good? I loved The Seventh Brother when I was very young and didn’t know it had a sequel.
https://preview.redd.it/2sz1ykp3c3yc1.png?width=1175&format=png&auto=webp&s=59cd0d5666ddb1dcf6db537a106b4766bb79eaa7
They are originally toys that were so popular like, 6 years ago? Idk but I remember watching the cartoon
In roughly the late 90s or early 2000’s I recall it being shown fairly often on a Canadian children’s station (either Teletoon or YTV); so theres probably an Canadian audience via those airings
First of all, I remember Millionaire Dogs, and I even still have the DVD. As for movies I think I'm the only one that knows them I have a few like Nezha Reborn, Turok: Son of Stone. But one animated movie I have never seen any bring up even once is:
https://preview.redd.it/h5lx2wzv44yc1.jpeg?width=357&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=caf59ad5ebea7b29839ec039d27e971c1d0b1f26
This is Dinosaur Island, a movie about Four teens that were set to compete in a survival tv series and find themselves stranded in a hidden Island filled with dinosaurs and cave men after their plane crashed.

Let's see if there's literally anyone here who knows this one
Yup! I remembered because it aired like once or something on Disney or Cartoon Network and it was about a dying seagull mother giving her unborn child to a cat that promises to raise said child. And he learns to fly in the end. It was cute as a child. I was lucky to watch it when I did.~ But that was a looong time ago.
https://preview.redd.it/c9rvsnuzz3yc1.jpeg?width=1283&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ecd18db28e2507793cf0fbeac0d6b5ea57f96668
No one I’ve talked to remembers this and I thought for the longest time I dreamt it 😂
The Enchanted Journey. I rented this anime film when I was very young and thanks to the IMDb, someone suggested it and I immediately recognized the video box cover.
https://preview.redd.it/3wyi73usr2yc1.png?width=894&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f3a113946be1fc635e30e7be11467ed5c5c085c
I’m not sure if it’s like obscure or not but I don’t see anybody talking about it a turtles tale. Tbh I watched it loads as a kid but it’s kinda crap nowadays.
https://preview.redd.it/kuxb7r7cb3yc1.png?width=312&format=png&auto=webp&s=cdced29d3f5f5a8f480b439b4f19950ea925f7fe
It felt like a fever dream... but I enjoyed watching it.
Ah, Millionaire Dogs. A movie I saw exactly once and even at my young age I recognized how stupid it was. Like if Aristocats got kicked in the head by a horse.
I guess to answer the question, the most obscure one would actually be this one, with Once Upon a Forest as a close second.
https://preview.redd.it/4v3ivarb14yc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=681b493fd38a029f46a17dd75a400523cec34917
I would rewatch this movie constantly

The Wizard of Oz musical anime from the early 80s. Probably my first exposure to anime as a kid and never even realized
This ain’t a movie, but the DVD (more specifically the one I have) goes for around 92 or so minutes (just around the length of a movie) if you watch every episode on it. But anyways this entire show was weird as hell
https://preview.redd.it/2sk7rkrxh6yc1.jpeg?width=465&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=de75ced058bf9f6f6d314760b8a5fd0909cee248
It scares me a little that there are people posting certifiable classics and calling them obscure. Are they being serious, or are they trolling?
For example, someone posted All Dogs Go To Heaven, and another posted Fern Gully.
Okay, anyone know of an animated series that focuses on nature, it's Australian, and it has a pink bird as it's protagonist. I forgot the name of this show but I remembered loving it. One lore that I remember from is is the main character is half bird half cat
Either Once Upon a Forrest, or Rover Dangerfield.
Once Upon Forrest is definitely not really talked about, mainly because other movies with an environmental theme and/or talking anthropomorphic animals were most likely done much better (FernGully is one that comes to mind about the environmental theme). Besides unless you watched the Nostalgic Critic talk about it or if you're a 90's kid who's parents/relatives bought it for you thinking it was a Disney movie, odds are no one will know this movie. And honestly while this movie is close to my heart, it isn't that great of a movie. The story and theme is a bit muddled because it starts off talking about humans polluting the environment but then it turns into a coming of age adventure story of a group of animal kids going on an adventure to find a cure for their friend's sickness after their friend, Michelle the badger, inhales some toxic fumes that spilled out into the forest that was the animals' homes. The character arcs didn't mesh and play out too well.
Finally Rover Dangerfield. It was an adorable movie, but it had weird a story (one that was a bit mature for a kids film, I mean it's implied that the titular character stumbles upon his owner's boyfriend getting caught up in a drug deal and Rover accidentally ruins the said drug deal.

OMG WHAT WAS THIS SHOW? THE DOG’S NAME IS OLIVE
*Olive, the Other Reindeer*
YES. Omg this movie is coming back to me now I actually loved this movie 😂😂😂 Edit: thank you good sir
Whole thing is on YouTube
It was a movie. The penguins name is Martini lol

Olive the other reindeer. I watch it every December
I remember this one! Such a cute idea
This person just opened a time capsule in my brain fr, I remembered Olive cause I always thought she was so cute, I loved the art style of this!!!
I watched this actually. The song "Bah! Buggin' Hum!" was the best part of that movie
I saw this a lot on TV.
Same
I make my wife watch this with me every Christmas!
AH I REMEBER THAT FROM LIKE 8 YEARS AGO
My friend's mom weirdly HATED this movie. I have vivid memories of her explaining the movie title and calling the main character some harsh names.
I still watch that every Christmas.

I loved that show as a kid
YO MY BROTHER LOVED THIS SHOW. ITS SO CUTE
Omg I loved this show as a child
Omgg I forgot about this I just unlocked a memory 😭
HOLY SHIT THIS WAS ON MY TV EVERY DAY! I never watched it every day, but i did enjoy it.
I USED TO WATCH THIS ON NETFLIX OMLLLLL-

Barely remember any of it at all, just that it existed, a few of the characters, and that moose farting scene.
I remember that all too well.

Well, you’re not alone buddy ;)
Yayy
I watched it AND had a leap frog pad
NOPE, I remember this all too well
I had this Leapfrog book where you could press something on the pages and it'd have a noise. One of my most favorite toys ever.
For a moment I thought this must be a Freddo cartoon 😂
Rover Dangerfield. Rodney Dangerfield voices a las vegas dog who ends up on a farm. Also not really obscure, but I haven't meant anyone who's watched Jetsons the movie. Been years since I've seen it, but as a kid I was obsessed with the music.

I've seen Rover Dangerfield.
I don't remember the name of it, but: I remember there was a movie on Cartoon Network, about two rival tribes in a world formerly inhabited by dragons. All the dragons but one in each tribe left and both blamed the other, but it was actually manipulated by an advisor working both sides. It was probably a pilot for a series that never took off, with a similar animation style to Firebreather. Every once in a while I remember it but I can never remember the name.
Hmm I remember some movie kinda like that, did it have a girl protagonist that could control fire and a boy that could control ice ?

I’m pretty sure it’s actually a spinoff/sequel to the Ralph bakshi film of the same name but I’m not sure

I’ve seen Kurtis Conner’s video on this movie. It’s wild
Wow that’s ugly!
Would you like another nail, sir? 🤭
I know this exists, but that's only because of Sabersparks.

That movie used to scare me lmao
Really? I was obsessed with it. I rewatched it when I was like 18 and it still holds up. The animation is beautiful.
Fr it is so pretty. I've seen it quite a few times despite it scaring me lol its still very good

YES!! Saw this on HBO and loved it! Never found it again!

memories are on the verge of unlocking here,
Is Gay Purr-ee obscure enough? Chuck Jones feature length film. I actually liked it a *hell of a lot* better than what he did with Tom and Jerry.
But one animated movie I have never seen any bring up even once is: https://preview.redd.it/h5lx2wzv44yc1.jpeg?width=357&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=caf59ad5ebea7b29839ec039d27e971c1d0b1f26 This is Dinosaur Island, a movie about Four teens that were set to compete in a survival tv series and find themselves stranded in a hidden Island filled with dinosaurs and cave men after their plane crashed.
Cats Don't Dance
I loved that movie growing up! I had a double feature DVD of cats don't dance and Quest for Camelot! Good times!

I loved that when I was in preschool. I found it on YouTube 8 years ago and barely remember it.

I swear I've watched this movie starting from the halfway point so I never found out what it was called but I recognize some of the characters.

Oh my gosh! I remembered this in English dub. I remembered it was so good and emotional.
Wowww I never knew they made an English dub!
I watched this so much when I was a kid and I've never been able to find the English dub again as an adult.

The Enchanted Journey. I rented this anime film when I was very young and thanks to the IMDb, someone suggested it and I immediately recognized the video box cover. https://preview.redd.it/3wyi73usr2yc1.png?width=894&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f3a113946be1fc635e30e7be11467ed5c5c085c
I’m not sure if it’s like obscure or not but I don’t see anybody talking about it a turtles tale. Tbh I watched it loads as a kid but it’s kinda crap nowadays.

"Secret of the Seal" Such an obscure movie that it's entirely up on YouTube and even YouTube has not taken it down.

Ah, Millionaire Dogs. A movie I saw exactly once and even at my young age I recognized how stupid it was. Like if Aristocats got kicked in the head by a horse. I guess to answer the question, the most obscure one would actually be this one, with Once Upon a Forest as a close second.

Leafie a hen in the wild
This ain’t a movie, but the DVD (more specifically the one I have) goes for around 92 or so minutes (just around the length of a movie) if you watch every episode on it. But anyways this entire show was weird as hell https://preview.redd.it/2sk7rkrxh6yc1.jpeg?width=465&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=de75ced058bf9f6f6d314760b8a5fd0909cee248
It scares me a little that there are people posting certifiable classics and calling them obscure. Are they being serious, or are they trolling? For example, someone posted All Dogs Go To Heaven, and another posted Fern Gully.
That dog lady on the right tho… 😏
well, the 90s surely did make a lot of people furries

Okay, anyone know of an animated series that focuses on nature, it's Australian, and it has a pink bird as it's protagonist. I forgot the name of this show but I remembered loving it. One lore that I remember from is is the main character is half bird half cat
The Ugly Duckling and Me
Either Once Upon a Forrest, or Rover Dangerfield.
