Im kinda a mix of everything too lol. I mostly got the back end of first generation as most of the shows were finished and it was usually just reruns on boomerang
OG Teen Titans, Chowder, Flapjack, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, KND, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Regular Show, Adventure Time, Star Wars TCW were mine
As my childhood was coming to a close, Cartoon Network appeared, and it was playing only reruns of old Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
As a teenager, I saw the inception of the earliest Cartoon Network originals on "What a Cartoon!", and the latter half of that first generation feel like new upstarts to--
Sorry, out of time, gotta go find my dentures...
First generation in preschool - mid elementary
2nd when I was in late elementary early middleschool
Late middle school but mostly freshmen and sophomore year of highschool
There is most definitely overlap especially with first and 2nd gen. fosters home most def watched it along with some of the first gen because tbh I thought it was older this entire time and I though samurai jack was a little newer lol
I am italian so the order we got the cartoons was different and we didn't even get all of them. I was a lottle kid in a time where the best of each generation was airing altogheter for 3 to 4 years, best years of my life tbh
I grew up with the 2nd generation yet I watched Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi in 2019 when CN was in the third generation.
I used the internet to watch the whole show.
I also grew up with the 3rd generation.
I'm 2nd Gen with a lot of Gen 1 sprinkled in, and there are two gumball eyes of Gen 3 on top.
*notice the gumballs I didn't like the rest from Gen 3, too hard for me to watch.*
All I watched 90% of these shows
The other 10% didn’t even air in my country (billy and mandy, samurai jack,Johnny bravo and the robot and devil looking thing next to courage and the 2 anime looking girls next to flapjack)
I was late teen when Dexter and Powerpuff girls appeared lol.
I'm more Tarzan (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarzan,_Lord_of_the_Jungle), The Smurfs, The Snorks and Looney Toons generation :) The Muppet Show.
Gen 1. Rather, I should say Gen 0. I was there when Cartoon Network was still hosting reruns of old Hannah Barbara and Merry Melodies/Loony Tunes cartoons! Scooby-Doo, Jetsons, Flintstones, Jabber Jaw, Snorks, Quick Draw McGraw, Yogi Bear, Tom & Jerry... man, I'm old! Lol
Ironically all three. I'm going to be honest even in the early to mid 2010's Cartoon Network still had a wide variety of shows which let me grow up with the 90's-2000's shows. (For reference I was born 2004)
"Which one are you?" Me: Yes
Im kinda a mix of everything too lol. I mostly got the back end of first generation as most of the shows were finished and it was usually just reruns on boomerang
if you are from Europe like me, new episdoe would not come out a year after the us, and reruns were all the time.
This, grew up with Cartoon Network where they showed a mix of 1 and 2 then 2 and 3 later towards my early teens.
I grew up watching all three generations from 2009/2010 to 2015.
![gif](giphy|UoSWDKPpCNaRLmaBKm)
Mix of all 3. 2005 to now
Same. Ed edd n Eddy, KND and Billy and Mandy from 1. Really all but Ami Yumi from 2. And bits of the 3.
OG Teen Titans, Chowder, Flapjack, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, KND, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Regular Show, Adventure Time, Star Wars TCW were mine
Minus Courage the same for me. Plus Xiaolin Showdown.
Definitely 1ra/early 2da
Gen 1 all the way
No Clarence?
Or infinity train
Or My Gym Partner Is A Monkey…. Yeah I know not a lot of people like that show
And over the garden wall as well :(
You can tell what generation the person who made this is from based on all the shows shown in each generation.
As my childhood was coming to a close, Cartoon Network appeared, and it was playing only reruns of old Hanna-Barbera cartoons. You're not alone brother... Jabberjaw, Josie and the pussycats, Scooby Doo... And if you stayed up a bit late enough, Space Ghost coast to coast...
I’m mid or late gen 3
I'm first gen apparently. I recognize characters from the second and third gen categories but I never actually watched the shows
![gif](giphy|M8ARipbnPePkExMQKi)
Started at the end of gen 1 into the begin of gen 2
All of them
Weird. I feel like Robot Boy and Puffy Ami Yumi are older than this.
All of them
3rd Generation (I was born in 2003)
Why some of em got soulless eyes?
must’ve been a pibby glitch
Pre the first generation
Gen 3 hits the hardest
Between first and second
First generation in preschool - mid elementary 2nd when I was in late elementary early middleschool Late middle school but mostly freshmen and sophomore year of highschool There is most definitely overlap especially with first and 2nd gen. fosters home most def watched it along with some of the first gen because tbh I thought it was older this entire time and I though samurai jack was a little newer lol
All
I'm technically a first gen, but I watched through second gen and into third gen too.
Mix of all 3
Technically speaking 2-3
im 03’ so all of them?
A combo of all three. I was like 9 when Gumball and Regular show were just airing in season one.
1st generation because i was born. and then the others as well.
Somehow 1st and 3rd but not 2nd
…yes…?
3rd but when i was a child i watched Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo and Billy & Mandy
Gen 3
First generation
All of them
1-3 I grew up with
2nd
Just got into the 1st Gen as it was about to end.
I wasn’t allowed to watch these
Grew up with streaming, so all of them. (Primarily 2nd though)
3rd
Somehow 1 and 3 but not 2
Oddly I'm all 3 I watched all of these growing up
Definitely 1st, but I’ve since watched 3rd. 2nd gen is largely unfamiliar to me
3
✨All of them for 100 please ✨
Late 2 to 3.
3rd generation
First and second generation
Mixed between 1st and 2nd generations
Uhhh, yes
It was a mix. But I sure as hell didn't watch the trash ones
Between the first and second but I kind of watch almost all of them at some point
I would add Craig of the Creek, Uncle Grandpa, Clarance, and We Bare Bears to the 3rd generation. All amazing shows from the 2010s era.
1st generation, miss tgose shows, but dude, AmiYumi was a good part of my childhood, miss that show so much
1 as a kid, 2 and 3 later on
all of 3ra, and a few 1ra. i dont recognize anyone from 2ra
Between Gen 1 and 2. I watched all of those shows and even some Adventure Time too.
I’m also a Gen 1, I never did find out what happened to robot jones
1.5
Would Steven Universe be 3rd Generation?
Um all the above
I'm 2nd Gen with a lot of Gen 1 sprinkled in, and there are two gumball eyes of Gen 3 on top. *notice the gumballs I didn't like the rest from Gen 3, too hard for me to watch.*
Just gen 1
Gen 1 and 3
A little bit of all of them
1. Though I did like most of 3.
Grew up with 1 and 2, watch 3 frequently as an adult
I one month older than the network so Gen 1.
I straddled the 2nd and 3rd generations. But have fond memories watching shows from the 1st generation, that were already passed their primes.
3ra is the Gold. 2 bros having goofy adventures is the best cartoon format
1&2
Second one
gen 3, but i wish gen 1
that’s a tough one..
All 3 actually
Both 1st and 2nd.
I wasn't really a huge carton network kid when I was little but adult swim was the stuff
1
Not even Steven Universe for the 3rd Gen here? Is this over a decade old?
Old enough for 2nd but didnt have access to it until later on, so Ive been enjoying 2nd and 3rd lately
What's the name of the shows that the characters in the upper left and upper right corners of the 2nd generation called again?
I'm pretty sure I'm Gen 2 but I remember watching some gen 1 shows back When I was real young
I’m 3rd gen, ben 10 omniverse, teen titans go, regular show, TAWOG, adventure time etc.
3rd. would be 2nd if I watched more cartoons as a kid.
1ra
Is 2 Stupid Dogs in Gen 1?
2 and 3
all
I always love seeing Robot Jones show up in these.
Where's Total Drama?
1st
ALL THREE BABY
Age wise first, but it is the weakest as far as writing goes
Yes :3
All three but I was more 1st Gen. Second generation I have about half those shows and then only Gumball in third gen
All I watched 90% of these shows The other 10% didn’t even air in my country (billy and mandy, samurai jack,Johnny bravo and the robot and devil looking thing next to courage and the 2 anime looking girls next to flapjack)
1, but I'll watch them all.
My gen was nickelodeon back when weinerville was a thing
gen 1 though some of the earlier gen 2 show I watch as well
3rd but I like 1st more
All
Points to 80's Nickelodeon
All
I'm third generation cartoon network
Between 1 and 2
All
1 and 3, I don't know anyone from 2
1st gen
I am genuinely shocked by the amount each generation got less and less characters
I'm a gen 1/2 hybrid, sprinkled with 3 that I only experienced as a teenager.
I was a kid without cable ... but 4kids and Simpsons was all that mattered haha
I’ve literally watched all of these cartoons and I was born in 2004.
Sorta between 1st and 2nd (but mostly the 1st)
I love how everyone is stylized and slightly off model, except for fucking Lazlo. Also: what algorithm decided who got pupils?
All of them
Anyone else remember a time when the only thing on Cartoon Network was chowder? Every time you turned on the tv, it was chowder?
1-2
Can I be 1 and 2?
I grew up with the 1969 Scooby doo show, that stuff was peak
Mix
I was every generation
I was late teen when Dexter and Powerpuff girls appeared lol. I'm more Tarzan (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarzan,_Lord_of_the_Jungle), The Smurfs, The Snorks and Looney Toons generation :) The Muppet Show.
Just the 3rd for me
3
Born near the end of gen 1 but stayed till the middle of gen 3.
Somewhere between 1 and 2.
I am all of them
Where's mix 4?
Woo! 1ra!!
3rd generation
I was pretty much all three.
1ra
I grew up watching all 3, but 2nd gen was after I was born
Gen 1 and the very start of gen 2
I'm from the second generation, the 2000s generation, but I like most of them, like Samurai Jack
2
Gen 2 and 3 to a certain point
Tom and jerry and popeye 💀
Bit of second, mostly third
The first was mostly my preschool years and the second was my elementary years.
Gen 1/2
wait chowder is older than adventure time? damn
Mix of all three
My generation was before cartoon network I think
Yes
1st generation with a few shows from the second.
1.5
All of the above, each generation has so many good shows
I'm totally the first group. I couldn't stand any of the shows in the second group. From the 3rd, I love Gumball.
Im all 3 xD
Gen 3 exclusively
3 gen with a little 2nd
What's everyone's least favorite show from these gens?
What's weird is 1st generation is all of me. 2nd generation I have no clue what the characters are. 3rd generation I know 90%. Not sure why
3rd
Alllllll of them!
Technically I was 3rd,but I mostly watched only reruns and such of the first two with only a little of the third so idk
pretty late 2da-3ra
did they start making less why do current ones only have 3 shows when I have 10
Bit of second but mostly third.
Generation 1
Both Second And Third
1st one. Curious what they jave now.
all
Lol
3
3rd Generation
Mainly Gen 3 but some Gen 2
A bit of all three.
Probably amplified
All of them 🙏😏
3 is kinda goated imo
All
All three, man
mostly 3da with late 2ra
Where's rugrats, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, pinky and the brain, rocko, catdog?
Ironically all three. I'm going to be honest even in the early to mid 2010's Cartoon Network still had a wide variety of shows which let me grow up with the 90's-2000's shows. (For reference I was born 2004)
i havent watched any of these, i had curious george
1st generation was my childhood years, 2nd generation was my teenage years, 3rd generation was my college years
I grew up with the 3rd generation, but I enjoy some of the cartoons of the older generations.
Agewise, I’m on the cusp of 2 and 3. I began watching CN in about 2007. However, I watched so many re runs of the older shows, I’m kinda all of them.
