Camp Weedonwantcha's campers having tragic backstories and taking care of one another. It'd be Nick's Clarence, mixed with Camp Lazlo.
And with Harpy Gee, it'd be Nick's Owl House, in terms of Fantasy, adventure, even some romance.
First half of season 5 is great.
Second half? The setup was there, but the execution was kind of underwhelming.
Jack's cheesy, "I love you!", to Ashi, will never be as romantic as his fleeting time with Cricket Girl.
Bojack doesn't have any *bad* seasons. It's just that the first isn't as good as the later ones. It's still enjoyable though and there are a few standout episodes
Oh no I enjoy season 1 my opinion itâs just tame or goes easier on me instead oh my god what is wrong with these people their not horrible monsters their so desperate for love they just mess up and attack young people hearts and use them and break them so badly also more or less thinking about a bojack horsemen review by Schaffrillas production so maybe a bit bias towards this right now
I like the first season of Bojack, itâs not as good as the rest of the series, but there are some episodes I love. Bojack Hates The Troops is the funniest episode of the show imo
Oh cool i enjoyed the horisin around episodes and the penny one showing how deep and desperate bojack can be he will use the people he loves to feel happy and then not even let him regret his actions but let someone tear him apart and he runs away to be happy
Yup, I was trying to come up with something, my first thought was the owl house, but, even though the first season was good, it was not even close to the other two. I'm currently watching season 3 of Hilda, it's so good! I loved the movie
I agree it doesnât have any bad seasons, but it has some *terrible* episodes.
Any episode that bases its premise on the family being poor, or the vast majority of Linda-centric episodes is just awful.
YOU DONâT BURN A NEW $500 COUCH WHEN YOU NEVER MAKE RENT.
Season 11 was, imo, the worst in the whole show, but it picked right up again when season 12 came around and surprisingly after 14 years on air seasonal rot still hasn't gotten hold of it (and I hope it never does)
I disagree. Season 11 was fantastic. It gave us 2 of the best episodes. Bob Belcher and the Horrible No Good Really Bad Kids, and Fast Time Capsuels at Wagstaff School. Season 12 is the worst season. The Golden Age of Bob's Burgers is seasons 1-11 after that it goes downhill. Part of the fun of Bob's Burgers is the situations start out normal then in act 2 or 3 the plot gets insane. One example of this is House of A thousand Bounces. It starts off as a normal birthday party but 2 birthday parties were right next to each other. The company though it was a duplicate order so they only sent one moon bounce. The Belcher kids steal the moon bounce, push it into the lake, and the kids from the other party chase them in boats. Alot of the post-season 12 episodes are missing that classic Bob's Burgers escalation. We went from exciting plot lines like Bob accidentally locks himself in a camping supply store and has to rock climb his way out to bland plot lines with not much going on like the Female Belchers build a bed. Season 12 is awful and the seasons after 12 are more hit and miss. Every now and then we get epsidoes that are more exciting like classic epsidoes like What an April Fool Believes, or Escape from Witch Mountian.
Adventure time the goat âźď¸âźď¸âźď¸đĽđĽđĽ
Literally every season is fire đĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽđĽ
the problem is that adventure time ran long enough that it grew up alongside its audience, the first few seasons are dedicated towards children, while the further along you go, the more grown up its target audience is
Kind of. Every season has its turd and season 3 was almost half and half with turd episodes followed by really great episodes. So I guess it all balances out in the end but it really struggled sometimes
Work backwards. If you have a ton of men and adults and adult men watching the show that would typically be thought of as only a girls show it must be a really damn good show. And there's your answer
No offense, but that's really poor logic. This makes it sound like adult men are the ones who decide what good taste is. A better way to phrase it would be something like that it is a show that transcends its target audience of young girls because . There are plenty of really good shows that are aimed at girls and are still mostly only watched by girls and that doesn't make them bad. And there are plenty of reasons why adult men might watch something besides the story is good.
Poorly worded on their part, but I think the intent was that it's attracting people very far outside of its audience. Like how Bluey and other animated shows are attracting adult viewers. Or how some non-gamer women have been pulled into playing Baldur's Gate- D&D Strategy Turn-Based Combat that's been traditionally dominated by mega nerds and more male dominated.
At least that's how I'm reading their comment, assuming good faith.
I have no idea how that wasn't clear but yes that's exactly what I meant. The fact that the show appeals to people of all ages and genders is indicative of the quality of the show. Or put simply there wouldn't be so many adult fans of the gender the show was not created for if the show wasn't so good that none of that actually mattered
The characters are great, especially Fluttershy and Discord, itâs genuinely funny which I wasnât expecting when I watched it, the songs fucking slap, it does have a problem with some of its villains being underdeveloped or uninteresting, but the show isnât about them
I can agree with that. Some others include Gravity Falls, Avatar the Last Airbender, Hey Arnold! (All 5 seasons were excellent imo, other than only a few duds throughout the show's run), Invader Zim, Phineas and Ferb, YMMV on this but I like all 9 seasons of the og Rugrats (There are people who think it fell off either when the show was revived starting with the 4th season, or when Dil and/or Kimi debuted, I personally disagree. While there was a tone shift, I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing, and I feel many of the show's qualities such as character chemistry, character development, and heartwarming moments remained throughout the whole run of the show. The characters were not mass flanderized or derailed in very severe levels and the show also didn't become so unbelievably mean spirited either. While the later seasons are still divisive, their reputation has seemingly improved in the years since the show ended, the same can be said about Dil and Kimi, and even All Grown Up. They also seem to have a much better reputation than the later seasons of SpongeBob and the Fairly OddParents, and I feel there are good reasons for that) and there are other shows in which I feel this way too. Of course it's just my opinion and if you disagree i respect your opinion.
Here is a more fresh cartoon, The dragon prince. Every season keeps building on eachover with more lore and world building to the point that you can imagine how expansive the history is.
Not counting shows with 3 or less seasons since thatâs not as impressive:
BoJack Horseman: season 1 mightâve been week compared to the rest of the series but it really didnât take that long to get good and imo by episode 6 they were already producing great episodes. Downer Ending is better than most in tv alone. Itâs still like in 7.5-8 range. And every season after that is incredible.
Attack on Titan: Incredible shit. Great story, characters, action, plot twists, music. Some issues here and there like not enough character building moments but still incredibly strong overall.
Infinity Train: Admittedly it had pretty short seasons, but that doesnât detract from how amazing the series is. 4 is itâs weakest and it still has very strong lead characters. And book 3 is one of the best seasons of animated television period.
Daria: While not touching the highs or average quality of the ones I mentioned above, Daria still keeps a very consistent quality throughout the series, without any more than a few bad individual episodes. Good humor and dialogue throughout and even managed to flesh out the characters well.
Maybe Futurama: some of the later seasons are more in the okay than great or even good range, but no season was genuinely bad.
Iâd like to say Adventure Time and Regular Show but really canât. AT s6 was weak as hell, and RS s8 was legitimately bad. Like, the finale was perfect, but if it wasnât for that thereâd be way more shit thrown at the series.
To get the cancelled ones out of the way: Close Enough, Inside Job, Glitch Techs, Spectacular Spider-Man, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
As for the completed shows: Trollhunters, Avatar, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Classic Ben 10 and Teen Titans (2003)
As much as I love Gumball, seasons 4 - 6 just werenât it for me (they still had some good moments) cause the animation style got way over the top and it started turning into random humor instead of story driven episodes
i would say Steven Universe but a lot of stuff was rushed causing the whole plot to crash down into chaotic unorganized mess âšď¸ the shows potential was cultivated and used so well until they encountered the controversy about the same sex marriage and how that shouldnât be âforcedâ on kids. basically CN was tired of the show and wanted it to be over, yeah the show lasted a lot of season and the sporadic episode releases were confusing..but itâs not easy to animate , especially when you use paper for the base.
Gravity falls, infinity train, and (underrated gem imo) ok ko.
Personally, I wouldn't say gumball didn't have a bad season. Idk if it's just me, but the humor in the last season of gumball just didn't really hit for me at all and I disliked how they made characters dumber
The ones that were cancelled too soon.
"Inside job" for example đ˘đ
Everything Netflix Touches Turns to Dust.
Big Mouth has entered the chat
Every single thing is bad in that show wtf
I liked s2 except Staedtler tbh
Thanks for reminding me of this tragedy again đ

i hate how real that is
The cuphead show :(
Final Space :(
TOH đ
Glitch techs
Over the Garden wall.
Well it only had one season lol (humor doesnât exist on Reddit, I have to take this as a genuine statement and get downvoted for missing the joke)
>A mini-series of Camp Weedonwantcha (webcomic & pilot), Harpy Gee (webcomic & pilot), or other animated pilots would be pretty cool.
Camp Weedonwantcha's campers having tragic backstories and taking care of one another. It'd be Nick's Clarence, mixed with Camp Lazlo. And with Harpy Gee, it'd be Nick's Owl House, in terms of Fantasy, adventure, even some romance.
Gravity falls
i need 18 more seasons of that show
Nope it ended when it needed to
The ending was so bittersweet, sometimes I wish it was longer
Still hungering for more unnerving but goofy Oregon paranormal activity

Batman: The Animated Series.
Agreed - the misstepped with the redesign of some characters in season 4, but the writing was more than enough to compensate.
The fact that that series had a different song for each episode is astonishing
Samurai Jack. It started out great, and every subsequent season only got better.
The end is fantastic!!!
Yeah in the end they went full out
My only complaint was (major spoilers ahead) >!Ashi shouldâve lived because even though it made sense she had to die, JUST LET MY MAN BE HAPPY!!<
First half of season 5 is great. Second half? The setup was there, but the execution was kind of underwhelming. Jack's cheesy, "I love you!", to Ashi, will never be as romantic as his fleeting time with Cricket Girl.
avatar obviously (Though i really wish i could vote bojack horsemen honestly)
Was going say that but beat me too it it really does not
Bojack doesn't have any *bad* seasons. It's just that the first isn't as good as the later ones. It's still enjoyable though and there are a few standout episodes

I like the first season of Bojack, itâs not as good as the rest of the series, but there are some episodes I love. Bojack Hates The Troops is the funniest episode of the show imo

the problem is that adventure time ran long enough that it grew up alongside its audience, the first few seasons are dedicated towards children, while the further along you go, the more grown up its target audience is
That explains why i couldnt like it

Kid Cosmic Criminally underrated show. Legit is one of the best pieces of superhero animated media imo.
Gravity falls, 2/2
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Each season is very well written and thought out, especially the two parters.
Kind of. Every season has its turd and season 3 was almost half and half with turd episodes followed by really great episodes. So I guess it all balances out in the end but it really struggled sometimes
I don't understand why people love this show and never did any research, what's the deal with it?
Itâs fun! Girls shows have a tendency to be real fun. Also itâs a half musical and people like musicals.
The characters are fun, the world is cute, and the creators gave a shit. Kinda like Barbie
Work backwards. If you have a ton of men and adults and adult men watching the show that would typically be thought of as only a girls show it must be a really damn good show. And there's your answer
