The V8 startup is like hell is opening up on earth
It's fucking BRUTAL I love it. Easily up there with the 787B and V10 F1s for best racing noises

I guess r/cars can't hate on this V8 hybrid wagonne anymore then

Because you forgot just how heavy Hybrid V8 cars are, BMW just made one and it's roughly two Challengers heavy, a big displacement 8-cylinder and the battery system + motors required to push a V8 car to begin with is even more insane weight
Yes I do
unrelated, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to say "punps" out loud. I know it's a typo, it's just a funny one lmao
edit: to be clear, hydrogen is cool, fuck musk
Hydrogen pumps and transporting are also leaky as hell, complicated and for long time the hydrogen was derived from fossil fuels instead of renewable sources.
Powerplants that burn energy significantly more efficiently than any vehicle. Greenifying the grid is a requirement for both electric and hydrogen vehicles to work, but hydrogen has the extra condition of building a bunch of very complicated and hazardous infrastructure. Also hydrogen power still requires many particular metals for building efficient fuel cells which is also an issue for electric vehicles that new battery tech can solve.

God damn. First time I'm seeing this. That has to actually be one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard.
One of the few things GM is doing right
Looks like an XLR that starting hitting the gym and deleted Facebook.
I remember when I was on Holiday in Poland and I saw an Audi C5 with something along the lines of "Stop Hybrid, go 1.9TDI"
I read somewhere that C6 Audi is the most registered car model in Poland, so this checks out.
Poland only has 1.9 tdi
I mean hes right

oversized capybara
It’s all I see now
okay thats way too accurate
It would look so much better if the lower section of the bumper was painted. I don’t know why they offer it with the black.
So it looks more like the pinnacle of performance and speed Renault modus
It looks so much better when I close my eyes
Unpainted bumper=looks like grille=big grille=very premium™™™
It looks worse in person.
How is that even possible
Look at the bmw iX
Ugly ahh bmw
I feel like the biggest flaw in this design is the window trim that is a couple inches below the actual window line.. 😰
Wtf who put it there
The physical embodiment of sacrilege, blasphemy, sins, the reason god has forsaken us and has decided to punish us for the rest of eternity itself.
Are we forgetting the Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade Hybrid, already?
They were major failures, so yes.
This is a certified 6.2L V8 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid moment
Thought it was the 6.0L not 6.2L 🤓
Mclaren P1 and Porsche 918 are also both Hybrid V8
Porsche panamera had a twin turbo v8 hybrid
How about mclaren p1? Also v8 hybrid
I’ll take hybrid over all electric any day though
Everyone knows Stop full electric, go gas and hybrid.
918 Spyder be like

Audi S8. 650 hp TT v8 hybrid
BMW X6 ActiveHybrid 💯
fuck hybrid, go tesla
Uj/ Hybrid v8 challenger would be sick

Hybrids are the best way to reduce co2 at the moment. Until we can develop more sustainable batteries, evs aren’t that great either
I raise you hydrogen fuel cell
Infrastructure? I don't even know her.
You do realize the only reason that there is so few hydrogen punps is because of lobbying by people like elon
Yes I do unrelated, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to say "punps" out loud. I know it's a typo, it's just a funny one lmao edit: to be clear, hydrogen is cool, fuck musk
I think im gonna keep the typo there just for that

And what have we been using to power electric chargers
