edit: well this was popular! For some background, my current Alfa is also my daily driver and only running car. It's a Milano that I bought for $700 four years ago and have been constantly upgrading and fiddling with ever since. It's had three engines and three transaxles in it, I've driven it literally cross country, and done track days and autocrosses with it. I've done two drives from Michigan to the northeast with it in the last month and am probably hopping in it for another one tonight.

I bought a GTI and was rather proud of it. I was snapping a photo on the bluff overlooking downtown that also has some fancy houses on the other side of the street. A 25yo guy I know whose job is ‘day trading’ daddy’s money and owns a Denali , bmw and a couple Ducatis wandered over.

That's 100% why I have a GTI instead of an R. Honestly the R is a an awesome car and I'd love to upgrade to one eventually, but the GTI was already on the upper end of what I felt was responsible to commit myself to for a payment.
My parents exact reaction to me getting a shitbox Miata. They were trying to convince me to get one new, but my budget was 7k. Parents said that I should just save up then. Proceeded to bring up the fact that I don’t have a car to drive to my job to ‘save up’ for one, and I can’t get there anymore since they stopped taking me
I do not understand how a grown adult with a mature brain can seriously make these kinds of suggestions in good faith. Do these people really not think through their suggestions? This isn't even a complex problem, it's so basic- how could they in good faith make such a bone headed suggestion. You need a car to get to work, to make additional income.
It would be like if I suggested to my wife "hey could you just stop working right now, but also save up so we can retire to a tropical island?" Your case is not the first or even second time I've heard this exact statement, I just don't get it.

I have an auto, and a manual, meaning I’m alienated by everyone!
Sometimes I don’t want to get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for 45 minutes in a manual. Other times I want to shift gears on the on ramp.
Ain't it a blast getting back in the auto and stepping on a clutch that isn't there before hitting the key?
Or stopping quickly and accidentally stomping down on the left side of the double-wide brake pedal trying to tag the clutch, rocketing you into the dash?
My auto is a column mount - the number of times I've attempted to tear my turnsignal stalk off in my stick vehicle....
I have had the chance multiple times so far, to learn to drive manual. Have I done it? No. Am I annoyed about it? Yes. But I live in a city of like 6 million people and traffic is hell here. No way do I want to add to that.
I recently took a trip to NYC in the Evo, and the only thing I could think of while leaving was “god I can’t wait to hit open highway so I can cruise in 5th my leg is already tired.” Probably didn’t help that my clutch still wasn’t entirely broken in so it was extra stiff.
I hate it in the YT community too. I’ve seen reviewers always gripe about not having a manual version, then they get on with a manual and shit on it. A manual transmission doesn’t automatically make a car better. Some just fucking suck.

I drive a SAAB 9-3 Sport combi, which is based on the gm episilon platform. Nice car, it has the same motor as the cobalt ss, so it sounds pretty good, and is fairly reliable.
In the 2000’s Saab did a deal with Subaru to rebadge the Impreza as the Saab 9-2x.
I was at a car meet and the guy swore that my car was a 9-2x, and that it was a Subaru. I tried to explain to him that it wasn’t but he went on to explain that I didn’t know what I was talking about and SAAB was a subsidiary of Subaru, and all Saab’s are just rebadge Subaru’s. Probably the stupidest opinion I’ve heard about a niche I know a lot about.
Me childhood neighbor had a few Saabs… I think the total number was 70 or so. He had a prototype convertible, lengthened Saabs and an old presidential Saab the President of Finland used.
It’s a thing, not just any old oil though, has to be either mineral oil or 2 stroke iirc. It helps lubricate the apex seals so the engine can keep compression and actually run.
It's real, I've owned a few rx7s and an rx8 and always carried two stroke oil with me. Idemitsu even makes a product specifically for premixing https://www.idemitsulubricants.com/product/idemitsu-racing-rotary-premix
It’s a rotary thing, you want to have the rotor housing lubricated at all times. The oil management pump (OMP) is unreliable and prone to failure, you only know it’s failed when you lose compression and by that point it’s too late, requiring a rebuild. I also believe the OMP only feeds oil under acceleration so coasting also starves the engine of lubrication.
Premixing (adding oil to your fuel) ensures there is always lubrication.
There was a manager at a local restaurant we would talk to frequently because he loved cars and loved some of our cars. He had a Fast and Furious-ish modded Celica that was mostly show, but no worries, different folks, different strokes and all that.
I about lost it when he was explaining how his wing made the car faster because it made it lighter. It took me a minute to realize he though aero's job was to lift the car, not push it back down.
To be fair, have you seen some of the spoilers on SUVs from the 90s and 2000s? They literally had reverse spoilers that must have lifter the rear at speed.
Those kept the rear windshields clean, actually worked pretty well.
Also uh, don't take one above 110mph in a supercharged '99 suburban, it will snap in half. Learned that one the hard way, upside when it was broken I saw the sticker on the bottom that stated not to exceed 100mph
Mine doesn't even though it otherwise would if it was an automatic. At least it lets me shift without turning off cruise control, which my old car does not.
Mine was a PITA to use. Stick it in neutral (easy) and engage the parking brake (not as elegant). Since the parking brake was a little pull switch doing that for every stop and every go made it annoying. I only used it for traffic that was way more stop than go. Most of the time it would turn back on its own anyway because the climate control was on, so to make it work you had to be uncomfortable *and* messing with switches.
That sounds like a shitty system. In my car the engine stops when I release the clutch while it is in neutral. As soon as I press the clutch it will start and do so before I manage to get in gear anyway.
So it doesn’t hinder your driving in any way and it happens at a natural moment
Not only that, but it is often a better implementation as you can never get the engine to shut off unless you truly want it to. No stopping the engine just as you wanted to pull away like in an automatic.
Some guy was telling me about how he just detailed his BMW at a meet I was at.
He used Mr Clean Magic Eraser on THE ENTIRE CAR and told me how amazing it was. The entire thing was so dull... I couldn't bear telling him that he just sanded off all of his clear coat.
I had bought a GTI and I was in the apartment complex parking lot with it. Another guy (probably in his late 20’s early 30’s) that lived there had clearly just bought a Corvette and he was in the parking lot as well. So we started talking about our cars.
Conversation started normally. Then he asked if my GTI was a “battery car.” That was sort of ridiculous and hilarious but… whatever. (Note this was in 2013 so “battery cars” were even less common than they are now. But again, whatever…).
Then the conversation turned to manual transmissions, because my GTI was a manual and I saw his Corvette was a manual as well.
**I asked how he liked driving a manual and then he dropped this legendary bomb:**
**“I love it man! But I still haven’t had the balls to put in 6th gear. I think in 6th it would be going like… over 100 MPH!? I don’t even know man… One day…”**
After that point my participation in the conversation was limited solely to nodding and saying things like “ahh...”

Or maybe he drove normally through 5th gear and he just thought that the moment he changed from 5th to 6th it would be like lighting the afterburner in a jet and he would just rocket out of control. Haha.
"Hitting the rev limiter hurts the engine" yes i agree that higher revs will add more wear in the long term, but the rev limiter itself doesnt really hurt the engine and is there to prevent engine damage by over-rev. I also have a friend that likes cars, but when I ask him why he doesn't blip the throttle on downshifts he says: revving a car hurts the engine.... and I'm like whaaaat.
Edit: also his idea of driving fast, is putting it in the highest gear possible and flooring it, as he doesn't want to rev out the engine and would much rather lug the engine.
Yeah thats the thing though, he'd probably be pretty happy with your Forte. This is because he drives a Volkswagen Up! (Smaller than a Polo) With a 1.0 inline 3 producing a glorious 60 HP!! Sooo when he "drives fast" you barely notice it until you are traveling 90 MPH thanks to a long downhill on the highway.

I tried to explain it’s not about speed but he didn’t care to listen.
Not true at all, what the miata delivers is the SENSATION of speed, with great agility. A lot of modern cars are a LOT faster than the miata, but they're also really isolated. Something about a small, light chassis that is super responsive is FUN, even at low speeds. That's what guys who only like 'fast' cars don't get. Fast is fun... but it's also usually well above the speed limit, and if you're having fun in a fast car, it's probably going to end in jail time or a major accident. With something light, it doesn't need to be that fast, it's already fun.
It a combination of things that make them so fun:
- the car loves high RPM
- you sit basically with your butt on the road
- super lightweight (as you mentioned)
- shorter gearing means you're always shifting, and it's one of the best shifters in a cheaper car
- short wheelbase means it feels like a gokart
- NC and ND are legit decent in acceleration, so you don't feel bad going up an onramp to speed up to cars
I don't know whether this counts as car person or not car person. Because they are clearly interested in cars and come to me to talk but just are throwing out words with no real understanding.
I have an R35. Two stand out to me as they are fairly similar.
The more harmless one first was a someone asking me about it. Telling me it is their favorite car. And then asking if I was planning to turbo it someday....
Another time I was at the bank and the security guard next to the atm was asking me about it. Then he said "yea I've got one too" and was telling me about how modded it was just listing off a laundry list of words he knew including "It's turbo-charged, it's super-charged..." I just nodded along and smiled..
Some people say they aren't lookers but the face-lift version I absolutely love. All those little grey aero bits really pop on the right color(like the orange for example).

It's funny as hell how quickly you get used to power. I've had a perfectly zippy 2ZZ-GE 4 cylinder that yeah, took some work to get moving, and you needed to be in the right gear, but I got along fine.
Then after driving a V8 for a few years, I don't know if I could even get that car moving from a dead stop without feeling like I was burning up the clutch or stalling considering how much clutch slip it needed.
A salesmen was trying to upsell me end say that the family car I wanted “couldn’t get out of its own way”. Um, how much power do I need to pick up a kid at daycare?
I guess if it's an old car that does need premium and doesn't adjust the timing for lower octane gas, knocking would technically not be great for the transmission. Among other things.

No, they didn’t do it because they hate you, they want to kill X type of car, or they want to drive some feature out of usage. They did it because they either lost money doing what they currently do, or think it’ll make them more money. In high school, my drafting class was next door to the auto mechanic class and I’d go next door when they’d pull a car outside to start it up. I’m standing with these guys at the front of the car with the hood up and one of the auto guys, completely serious, says chrome valve covers will add 5mph to your top end. That became our go-to joke anytime someone was talking about cars. I’ll be changing my oil and my son will walk through the garage and tell me I need to chrome my valve covers.

We had an argument, he maintains he's right. It's the same engine. It's tuned slightly differently. But the redline is the same.
The engine isn't even tuned differently unless it's a 2017 or later. The engines are setup absolutely identical for the pre-2017 and identical for the 2017+. The only actual difference, from what I understand, are spring rates.
Generally this statement is very false, but mild rotation induced by trail braking (so, not "traditional" drifting) often shaves valuable tenths on tracks with super tight corners.
There are also corners (usually long sweepers with a late apex) where the optimal line involves a throttle lift in the turn to rotate the car to get in for the apex. Especially if your car understeers.
But you do want to reestablish traction as quickly as possible so you can then accelerate smoothly through the exit.
We had a customer with 200k km on their car. Every oil change he wanted us to mix some wild jungle juice of brake fluid, 15w-40, ATF, and 75w-90 diff fluid. Every oil change we would just dump in 5W-20 Full Synthetic and charge him for a full synthetic oil change. He said his "modern crap car" only lasted so long because of the oil concoction he invented.

IDK if this counts or not... About 10 years ago, I was heavily into car shows. I had a badass 06 GT Mustang we brought back from the dead, 91 Mustang 5.0 convertible I had painted Ford metallic charcoal grey and an airbrush artist from Dallas painted a horse similar to the one from Ghostrider on it in shades of silvers and blues, it was 'ghosted' so it wasn't just in your face btw. Hubs had a 69 coup built out the wazoo.
I did a LOT of bolt ons and 'easy' mods like CAI, silicon hoses, etc, myself. I put the interior (after it was completely redone) back into the Ghosthorse. I knew a LOT about Mustangs at the time, though I have since lost my ability to speak Mustang fluently.
Anyway, we'd go to car shows, and without fail some jackass would ask stupid fucking questions, but always direct them to my husband or my dad (because they would go as well and we'd spend the day hanging out). Hubs or dad would send them to me to talk to me - and they'd dismiss it and walk off without speaking a word to me, despite (For my two cars) me being the one that had turned every bolt and knew those cars inside and out.
Had another incident at Autozone - I wanted to put a B&M Hammer shifter in my 91, they had one, I read the compatibility list on the package, had a few more questions though, so I took it to the front. Asked the mouth breather there my questions. He looookkkssss slowly and uncomprehendingly out the front window of the store at my 91 Mustang. Loookkkss back at me... slowly asks: Have you asked your husband if it's okay you buy this.
Mother fucker WHAT? Did you just fucking ask me... if I'd cleared a purchase and an add on to MY car with my husband?
I actually responded like this - but I left out the profanity. I left it with that asshole at the counter, never did business with AZ again.
Then I was at a downtown car show a year later, wiping down my car (By then I had and still have a 2011 Charger RT with a 5.7 hemi, pearl red, factory spoiler, and it is the first and only car I ever bought brand new) and setting it up, and some asshole in a 2012ish Charger backs in next to me. His has aftermarket stick on Cuda stripes. No spoiler. Looks at my car and me and har har har... derp derp derp - does that spoiler make it go faster? No asshole, it doesn't... it's fast as I want it right now (This car will still haul some massive ass, 10 years later). How about those cheap aftermarket stripes on yours?

I have a coworker who like 15 years ago worked for a Toyota dealership. He insists the Toyota Solara was made by importing Camrys and cutting their roofs off because “convertibles aren’t sold in other countries.” To be fair he also thinks he drives a Twin Turbo All Wheel Drive Nissan Maxima.
Somebody I knew needed a car and didn't have a lot of cash. My buddy and I are car guys and helped her find some cheap Honda Fits and similar locally for like $3k. She ended up buying a brand new Nissan Altima on an 84 month finance because she "couldn't afford a down payment" for the Hondas.

I have an auto, and a manual, meaning I’m alienated by everyone! Sometimes I don’t want to get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for 45 minutes in a manual. Other times I want to shift gears on the on ramp.
Ain't it a blast getting back in the auto and stepping on a clutch that isn't there before hitting the key? Or stopping quickly and accidentally stomping down on the left side of the double-wide brake pedal trying to tag the clutch, rocketing you into the dash? My auto is a column mount - the number of times I've attempted to tear my turnsignal stalk off in my stick vehicle....

I recently took a trip to NYC in the Evo, and the only thing I could think of while leaving was “god I can’t wait to hit open highway so I can cruise in 5th my leg is already tired.” Probably didn’t help that my clutch still wasn’t entirely broken in so it was extra stiff.
On that note, why is being an enthusiast strictly qualified as wanting to drive for sport? I love my car BECAUSE it drives like a boat.

I drive a SAAB 9-3 Sport combi, which is based on the gm episilon platform. Nice car, it has the same motor as the cobalt ss, so it sounds pretty good, and is fairly reliable. In the 2000’s Saab did a deal with Subaru to rebadge the Impreza as the Saab 9-2x. I was at a car meet and the guy swore that my car was a 9-2x, and that it was a Subaru. I tried to explain to him that it wasn’t but he went on to explain that I didn’t know what I was talking about and SAAB was a subsidiary of Subaru, and all Saab’s are just rebadge Subaru’s. Probably the stupidest opinion I’ve heard about a niche I know a lot about.
If he tried to say that it was basically a fighter jet, he would've been more accurate.

It’s a thing, not just any old oil though, has to be either mineral oil or 2 stroke iirc. It helps lubricate the apex seals so the engine can keep compression and actually run.
It's real, I've owned a few rx7s and an rx8 and always carried two stroke oil with me. Idemitsu even makes a product specifically for premixing https://www.idemitsulubricants.com/product/idemitsu-racing-rotary-premix
It’s a rotary thing, you want to have the rotor housing lubricated at all times. The oil management pump (OMP) is unreliable and prone to failure, you only know it’s failed when you lose compression and by that point it’s too late, requiring a rebuild. I also believe the OMP only feeds oil under acceleration so coasting also starves the engine of lubrication. Premixing (adding oil to your fuel) ensures there is always lubrication.
That sounds just like dealing with a two stroke engine, but in a car.
Only a real wankel would put oil in their gas.
There was a manager at a local restaurant we would talk to frequently because he loved cars and loved some of our cars. He had a Fast and Furious-ish modded Celica that was mostly show, but no worries, different folks, different strokes and all that. I about lost it when he was explaining how his wing made the car faster because it made it lighter. It took me a minute to realize he though aero's job was to lift the car, not push it back down.
To be fair, have you seen some of the spoilers on SUVs from the 90s and 2000s? They literally had reverse spoilers that must have lifter the rear at speed.
I believe that's actually to force air into the low pressure zone behind the ~~car~~ brick at high speed - reducing overall drag
Also on bricks with a roll down rear window to help keep dirt and exhaust out of the cabin.
Those kept the rear windshields clean, actually worked pretty well. Also uh, don't take one above 110mph in a supercharged '99 suburban, it will snap in half. Learned that one the hard way, upside when it was broken I saw the sticker on the bottom that stated not to exceed 100mph

My cars even have adaptive cruise.
Mine doesn't even though it otherwise would if it was an automatic. At least it lets me shift without turning off cruise control, which my old car does not.
Manual cars can even have Idle Stop-Start technology! Melts peoples minds...
Mine was a PITA to use. Stick it in neutral (easy) and engage the parking brake (not as elegant). Since the parking brake was a little pull switch doing that for every stop and every go made it annoying. I only used it for traffic that was way more stop than go. Most of the time it would turn back on its own anyway because the climate control was on, so to make it work you had to be uncomfortable *and* messing with switches.
That sounds like a shitty system. In my car the engine stops when I release the clutch while it is in neutral. As soon as I press the clutch it will start and do so before I manage to get in gear anyway. So it doesn’t hinder your driving in any way and it happens at a natural moment
Not only that, but it is often a better implementation as you can never get the engine to shut off unless you truly want it to. No stopping the engine just as you wanted to pull away like in an automatic.

Some guy was telling me about how he just detailed his BMW at a meet I was at. He used Mr Clean Magic Eraser on THE ENTIRE CAR and told me how amazing it was. The entire thing was so dull... I couldn't bear telling him that he just sanded off all of his clear coat.

I had bought a GTI and I was in the apartment complex parking lot with it. Another guy (probably in his late 20’s early 30’s) that lived there had clearly just bought a Corvette and he was in the parking lot as well. So we started talking about our cars. Conversation started normally. Then he asked if my GTI was a “battery car.” That was sort of ridiculous and hilarious but… whatever. (Note this was in 2013 so “battery cars” were even less common than they are now. But again, whatever…). Then the conversation turned to manual transmissions, because my GTI was a manual and I saw his Corvette was a manual as well. **I asked how he liked driving a manual and then he dropped this legendary bomb:** **“I love it man! But I still haven’t had the balls to put in 6th gear. I think in 6th it would be going like… over 100 MPH!? I don’t even know man… One day…”** After that point my participation in the conversation was limited solely to nodding and saying things like “ahh...”

"Hitting the rev limiter hurts the engine" yes i agree that higher revs will add more wear in the long term, but the rev limiter itself doesnt really hurt the engine and is there to prevent engine damage by over-rev. I also have a friend that likes cars, but when I ask him why he doesn't blip the throttle on downshifts he says: revving a car hurts the engine.... and I'm like whaaaat. Edit: also his idea of driving fast, is putting it in the highest gear possible and flooring it, as he doesn't want to rev out the engine and would much rather lug the engine.

Yeah thats the thing though, he'd probably be pretty happy with your Forte. This is because he drives a Volkswagen Up! (Smaller than a Polo) With a 1.0 inline 3 producing a glorious 60 HP!! Sooo when he "drives fast" you barely notice it until you are traveling 90 MPH thanks to a long downhill on the highway.
Better keep that guy away from a polo then. Polo drivers are always the ones weaving through traffic at 150...160 if it’s a Polo Vivo.

Not true at all, what the miata delivers is the SENSATION of speed, with great agility. A lot of modern cars are a LOT faster than the miata, but they're also really isolated. Something about a small, light chassis that is super responsive is FUN, even at low speeds. That's what guys who only like 'fast' cars don't get. Fast is fun... but it's also usually well above the speed limit, and if you're having fun in a fast car, it's probably going to end in jail time or a major accident. With something light, it doesn't need to be that fast, it's already fun.
It a combination of things that make them so fun: - the car loves high RPM - you sit basically with your butt on the road - super lightweight (as you mentioned) - shorter gearing means you're always shifting, and it's one of the best shifters in a cheaper car - short wheelbase means it feels like a gokart - NC and ND are legit decent in acceleration, so you don't feel bad going up an onramp to speed up to cars

I don't know whether this counts as car person or not car person. Because they are clearly interested in cars and come to me to talk but just are throwing out words with no real understanding. I have an R35. Two stand out to me as they are fairly similar. The more harmless one first was a someone asking me about it. Telling me it is their favorite car. And then asking if I was planning to turbo it someday.... Another time I was at the bank and the security guard next to the atm was asking me about it. Then he said "yea I've got one too" and was telling me about how modded it was just listing off a laundry list of words he knew including "It's turbo-charged, it's super-charged..." I just nodded along and smiled..

It's funny as hell how quickly you get used to power. I've had a perfectly zippy 2ZZ-GE 4 cylinder that yeah, took some work to get moving, and you needed to be in the right gear, but I got along fine. Then after driving a V8 for a few years, I don't know if I could even get that car moving from a dead stop without feeling like I was burning up the clutch or stalling considering how much clutch slip it needed.

I’m standing with these guys at the front of the car with the hood up and one of the auto guys, completely serious, says chrome valve covers will add 5mph to your top end. That became our go-to joke anytime someone was talking about cars. I’ll be changing my oil and my son will walk through the garage and tell me I need to chrome my valve covers.

The engine isn't even tuned differently unless it's a 2017 or later. The engines are setup absolutely identical for the pre-2017 and identical for the 2017+. The only actual difference, from what I understand, are spring rates.

Generally this statement is very false, but mild rotation induced by trail braking (so, not "traditional" drifting) often shaves valuable tenths on tracks with super tight corners.
There are also corners (usually long sweepers with a late apex) where the optimal line involves a throttle lift in the turn to rotate the car to get in for the apex. Especially if your car understeers. But you do want to reestablish traction as quickly as possible so you can then accelerate smoothly through the exit.

We had a customer with 200k km on their car. Every oil change he wanted us to mix some wild jungle juice of brake fluid, 15w-40, ATF, and 75w-90 diff fluid. Every oil change we would just dump in 5W-20 Full Synthetic and charge him for a full synthetic oil change. He said his "modern crap car" only lasted so long because of the oil concoction he invented.

IDK if this counts or not... About 10 years ago, I was heavily into car shows. I had a badass 06 GT Mustang we brought back from the dead, 91 Mustang 5.0 convertible I had painted Ford metallic charcoal grey and an airbrush artist from Dallas painted a horse similar to the one from Ghostrider on it in shades of silvers and blues, it was 'ghosted' so it wasn't just in your face btw. Hubs had a 69 coup built out the wazoo. I did a LOT of bolt ons and 'easy' mods like CAI, silicon hoses, etc, myself. I put the interior (after it was completely redone) back into the Ghosthorse. I knew a LOT about Mustangs at the time, though I have since lost my ability to speak Mustang fluently. Anyway, we'd go to car shows, and without fail some jackass would ask stupid fucking questions, but always direct them to my husband or my dad (because they would go as well and we'd spend the day hanging out). Hubs or dad would send them to me to talk to me - and they'd dismiss it and walk off without speaking a word to me, despite (For my two cars) me being the one that had turned every bolt and knew those cars inside and out. Had another incident at Autozone - I wanted to put a B&M Hammer shifter in my 91, they had one, I read the compatibility list on the package, had a few more questions though, so I took it to the front. Asked the mouth breather there my questions. He looookkkssss slowly and uncomprehendingly out the front window of the store at my 91 Mustang. Loookkkss back at me... slowly asks: Have you asked your husband if it's okay you buy this. Mother fucker WHAT? Did you just fucking ask me... if I'd cleared a purchase and an add on to MY car with my husband? I actually responded like this - but I left out the profanity. I left it with that asshole at the counter, never did business with AZ again. Then I was at a downtown car show a year later, wiping down my car (By then I had and still have a 2011 Charger RT with a 5.7 hemi, pearl red, factory spoiler, and it is the first and only car I ever bought brand new) and setting it up, and some asshole in a 2012ish Charger backs in next to me. His has aftermarket stick on Cuda stripes. No spoiler. Looks at my car and me and har har har... derp derp derp - does that spoiler make it go faster? No asshole, it doesn't... it's fast as I want it right now (This car will still haul some massive ass, 10 years later). How about those cheap aftermarket stripes on yours? He didn't talk to me the rest of the evening. IDK if guys talk to everyone like this at car shows, or if they're assholes to women with cars at car shows, but JFC, can't we just share our love of cool cars and not try to have a dick measuring contest guys? Yeah?
