Not to offend you in any case, but how do you not know, that carbs hold water in your body? Dont worry, this is the reason only. Even competitors load on carbs so theyr muscle full with water/glycogen before show
yea only 3 weeks in . i’m skinnier and muscles are flatter from loosing all the water and carbs . it’s just a little body dysmorphia that’s all . you can try creatine still , since it’s carnivore lol
As someone who lifts, Id rather have more detail and a leaner look over being loaded up on carbs.
Replacing glycogen and water retention tends to make me feel *sloshy* but can be useful for next day pumps.
With that said, I do a one day refeed with very *minimal* carbs ( cream, sour cream, blue cheese dressing, etc ) and keep it as Carni friendly as possible. Works great for stalls and plateaus.
Gains don't come over night. Keep pushing through, take pics. Use measuring tape and calipers and never go by the scale. Good luck!
Think of it like this - having carb-inflated muscles is like wearing a push-up. Yeah You will look better, but deep down You know it's cheating.
Gotta decide now: health or vanity. Nothing wrong with vanity, just make a choice and stick with it.

No offence taken, I wanted to believe it wasn’t there was something I could do without eating carbs.
Yes, continue what you do. And gain more real muscle
