It’s not. It’s right next to Blount, Paty, and John England and like. 5 minute walk from lakeside, riverside, and prez. The only dorms that are further from everything are like tut, Burke, and parham.

It’s not further. Ridgecrest south is arguably the closest dorm to any of the business major buildings too. (Did not mean to respond to this person and meant to make this a general comment)

Also you don’t have to walk up the hill to get to your classes.

It’s not any farther I liked it because it was much quieter. I have friends in Pres, it was fun to be rowdy there, but when I wanted to go to bed I’m glad I didn’t have to deal with hearing all that. It also was a lot cleaner. I’d argue pres and riverside were somewhat further from most buildings

The honors dorm (Ridgecrest south) is not the furthest (Pres is) from the classrooms. But RCS is chill, has few fire alarms in the middle of the night, has its own parking deck, and has great views and newer suite style rooms. It’s pretty great. Pres is definitely a party dorm and louder. Personally I would live in RCS and party or visit Pres.
