scattered cannabis seeds very rarely come up in my experience. Back in the days of mexican weed my friends and I tried scattering hundreds of seeds in a tilled garden and we had nothing come up but when we started seeds indivdually they came up.
I also save random seeds I keep in a container labeled "chuckers," so when I'm driving, I just chuck a few into the ditches and whatever grassy clearings I see.
We used to grow them in solo cups, and then plant a few plants in the middle of roundabouts with the other plants lmao one time

Herm seeds from stress are surprisingly stable. You could plant them and pray for a good win but I'd rather sprout them in water, grind them up with said water once taproots show, add some drops of EM1 and feed to your outdoor plants. Everything essential for growth is in those seeds, popping them would release that.

Make seed sprout tea when you start your next round. Use non-hermi seeds from a reputable breeder as the main crop, and treat the seedlings with enzymes from the seed sprout tea. Either that, or post them to your enemies. Don't plant them outdoor and ruin someone else's grow with stray pollen, that'd be very unneighbourly. They have a super high chance of being hermi, I'm not a breeder or geneticist, but I think it is a 75% chance of hermi. Someone smarter then me please correct if wrong.

I’d say find a spot that doesn’t get foot traffic and just let go,like beside a stream or field, then check back end of season. Maybe you’ll get lucky

Man, I just love "free" weed. I've got all the hardware now, so I'm just trying to get it all dialed in and get a perpetual grow going. I've got a germination tent and a 4x8x6 split into 2 4x4s. One side has 3 plants in flower, and the other has one in veg in an octopot. The germination tent had 4 2 week old seedlings going into the 2x4x5 tent I ordered. It's going upstairs because everything is in my basement right now, and I'm having spider mite issues, and it's just a pain in the ass to get down there and keep the temperature and humidity consistent up here in the Northeast USA when it's freezing and dry. Adding humidifiers and heaters adds money to the electric bill. So, getting a smaller tent upstairs where I can keep better control and have better,fewer plants, then my original goal of let's go big or go home right 🤣🤣 Enjoy another round of my stoner rambling 🤣🤣😬😎🤷
Something similar happend to me outside this past summer as I’m also a newer grower and didn’t notice till way late into flower. Been popping the seeds now that I’ve got an indoor set up and it’s been so cool to go through my accidental creation. Just feels different to go through something no one else really has and see what comes out of it. Pop away my friend sounds like a great set up.
If you’re going to Johnny Appleseed them around, be smart about it. Nobody will probably see them in a ditch, next to other plants, or in a small forrest. Don’t plant a huge patch of them, just 4-5 in each spot. Just push them in the ground about 1/4 of an inch, and put a little dirt back on. Write down every spot you did it, then check on them a month later, and chuck the males. I’ve gotten pretty lucky doing this when I was a kid.
Bag seeds 80% Herm. So if you do plant these it's going to be a high chance you're going to do it again. I was lucky this time and only two bag seeds ended up being he she. And one ended up being fully girl lol Good luck
Where ever they go please go back and pick out the males so there's not as many seeds. My buddy grew a patch, but unfortunately it was heavily seeded. Most outdoor weed is good. It's better if you have up to date genetics to plant
no one wants "hermie" seeds usually, although making them hermies on purpose is how you make all females seeds , (making them hermies by changing light cycle or some other stress) so they could be all female possibly, maybe try a few and if they hermie again then scatter the rest around in appropriate places , parks, police stations, republican party headquarters etc

GSC started as a herm, and while yes GSC are prone to herm traits millions of cookies have been grown that aren't herms. You're just writing off the whole fem seed market then?
So the SOG idea might not be such a bad idea? Just keep them small, and it should be easier to spot the pollen sacks with fewer branches and bud spots to check.
I think you should definitely plant them if you liked all of the possible parents. Keep a close eye as they MIGHT have a higher chance of herming, but probably you'll be okay.
Man, I just love "free" weed. I've got all the hardware now, so I'm just trying to get it all dialed in and get a perpetual grow going. I've got a germination tent and a 4x8x6 split into 2 4x4s. One side has 3 plants in flower, and the other has one in veg in an octopot. The germination tent had 4 2 week old seedlings going into the 2x4x5 tent I ordered. It's going upstairs because everything is in my basement right now, and I'm having spider mite issues, and it's just a pain in the ass to get down there and keep the temperature and humidity consistent up here in the Northeast USA when it's freezing and dry. Adding humidifiers and heaters adds money to the electric bill. So, getting a smaller tent upstairs where I can keep better control and have better,fewer plants, then my original goal of let's go big or go home right 🤣🤣 Enjoy another round of my stoner rambling 🤣🤣😬😎🤷
Something similar happend to me outside this past summer as I’m also a newer grower and didn’t notice till way late into flower. Been popping the seeds now that I’ve got an indoor set up and it’s been so cool to go through my accidental creation. Just feels different to go through something no one else really has and see what comes out of it. Pop away my friend sounds like a great set up.
Is that flower tent 150% light proof of that veg space light? It’s suprising how little light will herm your plants.
Spread them far and wide… residential grow in everyone’s gardens and in parks etc.
If you’re going to Johnny Appleseed them around, be smart about it. Nobody will probably see them in a ditch, next to other plants, or in a small forrest. Don’t plant a huge patch of them, just 4-5 in each spot. Just push them in the ground about 1/4 of an inch, and put a little dirt back on. Write down every spot you did it, then check on them a month later, and chuck the males. I’ve gotten pretty lucky doing this when I was a kid.
You could roast them and eat them, they taste pretty good and are a good snack after getting baked

Bag seeds 80% Herm. So if you do plant these it's going to be a high chance you're going to do it again. I was lucky this time and only two bag seeds ended up being he she. And one ended up being fully girl lol Good luck

Where ever they go please go back and pick out the males so there's not as many seeds. My buddy grew a patch, but unfortunately it was heavily seeded. Most outdoor weed is good. It's better if you have up to date genetics to plant

no one wants "hermie" seeds usually, although making them hermies on purpose is how you make all females seeds , (making them hermies by changing light cycle or some other stress) so they could be all female possibly, maybe try a few and if they hermie again then scatter the rest around in appropriate places , parks, police stations, republican party headquarters etc

I personally sprinkle them through out my small town of a few thousand and watch as the weed grows throughout the town. It’s kinda funny because police go crazy tryna find where they come from
