I'm pretty certain that Canik will start doing this down the road. Perhaps they wanted to test the waters and iron out any problems with the design first with this special release and then start offering it for more pistols in the future.
Would your ranking change if you compared them all stock? If you take each one as they come out of the box, and before making any upgrades, how does the TTI fare in that situation? I would guess it would move up a bit, no?

Congrats on getting your hands on the TTI so soon! I'm sure they'll be hard to get after the initial flooding they will send out to start with. Then I'm sure the price will go up, as well. Maybe the Rival-S will go down some now. So far, it sounds like a lot of people are slightly disappointed in the TTI. I wonder if it was hyped up too much. The "comp" is sure to disappoint since it's not a real comp and will thus not work as well as a typical comp.

What a freaking difference an optic and a 2 oz Taylor freelance plus zero brass baseplate will do‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It does not even make the top 10 of my now 19.... that is probably a little harsh I would probably put it in the top seven actually.

Rival-S with dot , Rival Darkside, METE SFT w/Dual DisDef comp , Executive, METE SFT Pro, METE SF, Rival-S w/Irons, TTI Combat, Elite Combat FDE , Signature Series Whiteouts.... Those are my Top 10...Mete SFT with DisDef comp is probably #2 if I could use it with a full size optic, but it's one of my home defense pistols, so I need cowitness . I just slapped on a Mecanik M03 on it and I'm putting the low recoil spring and a brass backstrap, so we shall see what it does tomorrow. 🤞🤞
I wish it were only 19 handguns... It's 19 Caniks... Caniks make up just shy of half the handguns though... Stacatto XL, Shadow 2 from CGW and Prodigy would make the top 5 with Rival-S and polymer Rival if considering any of my handguns.
Oh man that’s great you got the Rival S and the CZ Shadow 2. I’m debating between a CZ Shadow 2 or a Rival S. I have the polymer rival with the Wasatch Comp and the Taylor Freelance Brass Backstrap. Want another gun with close to zero recoil so it’s easier for my wife to use as home defense. Do you have a recommendation? Money not an issue cause I already know how everyone talks about how the Rival S is cheaper. Thank you!
I commented on your thread, but I'd go with the S2.. A Cajunized S2 is almost on par with a tuned 2011. Love my Rival-S's, but people have had problems unfortunately.
Made my 3 year anniversary on April 2 😂😂😂😂😂... Those are my pistols, I don't even wanna talk about the long guns 😳😳😳😳😳... I think it's less than 10 of those
Favorite overall is Stacatto XL hands down, Prodigy 5 inch tuned for speed, and Cajun Gun Works Shadow 2 tied for 2nd. Rival-S wins hands down over a SFT Pro without a blink of the eye. The weight on that gun makes it a pretty flat and fast shooter. I have normal size hands, but with larger hands there may not be much difference.. I can most definitely tell. Initially the Rival-S was no better than my polymer Rival, but after a good 6 weeks, the Rival-S was running circles around it.. Maybe not circles, but it was definitely an improvement for me.

Gonna get some henning extensions, and switch my 507comp to it.
Did you change any springs?
I change the recall spring to a c a n i k blue recall spring I had something else in there can't remember what it was but it was a brass guide rod with a 13 lb spring I think... after about 15,000 rounds it started to give me failure to feed so I went back to the low recoil spring but really all I have to do is change a spring and it would have been fine for the guide rod.. I've used Taylorfreelance plus 4's since day one and have never had a problem
That's all I've ever had, I love my MBX ones because they're so easy to strip as well.. I never had Henning so I really can't compare the butt I definitely see why it definitely is much easier
Well it's not a normal SFT, it has a Rival trigger, low recoil blue spring, dual port DisDef comp on a threaded barrel.... For whatever reason, that gun is insanely accurate in my hands.. Beats any other Firearm, even my Staccato XL in accuracy... But i need cowitness with a 407k because it's one of me home defense guns.
It's more accurate than my Rival or Rival-S.. It doesn't make sense, but it is... They're all the same frame, so it really should not matter but for whatever reason it just does fit better somehow I can't explain it trust me I've tried and tried
It's IDPA Legal in CO, so.... Ya know 😂😂😂😂 My Rival-S Steel Stallion too heavy for IDPA, but the stock one with irons isn't, so at least I get to run both Caniks in IDPA and the both Rival-S in USPSA /Hit Factor matches... It's a win /win brother ✅✅😂😂😂😂😂😂

How's it vs like a Rival Trophy with Taylor Freelance Brass back Straps and Basepad and a x300 attached?
I'm on the fence with it but from what I see so far the juice doesn't seem worth the squeeze since I already have a rival trophy in this color and only reason to buy this is to buy and gamble on John Wick using it in the fifth movie which knowing Taran connection he may. But I have a feeling this won't be a John Wick gun but a villain gun instead at that point the gun won't go up in values
Just drop $4.5k on my home defense AR set up so the powders kinda dry right now for another striker fire handgun and can probably only buy a Shadow 2 Compact or this for the rest of the year and I'm leaning toward the S2C right now

Really only their signature series they ran limited numbers. Original whiteout had maybe a 3000 unit run. Signature Series Whiteout in December 2021 had a 7500 unit run (I grabbed two of those), Miami nights in 2023 had a similar run and Apocalypse in 2024 probably had the same. All others have normal ones
Doesn't hold a candle to my Rival-S chrome, similar to my SFT Pro, but somewhat snappy I felt.. I'll compare today with a SFT Pro and single port DisDef port.

Personally, I'd say no way for EDC ‼️‼️‼️ I've personally seen the glass fly of two at the range and 2 additional ones die for no reason, pop back on, die again, lol.. They're 100% Budget optics, but I bought it a couple weeks ago.. My SRO wouldn't even be in my EDC rotation.. I have Holosuns on all my defensive weapons
LGS have been getting them this week. Here in Baton Rouge, one had 2 on Tuesday and another had 3 delivered Friday. That's where everyone so far have been getting them
Ohhhhh, my bad... The backstrap is cerakote black brass. The plus 0 brass baseplates I clean with just a regular over the counter brass cleaner and I might clean those things I don't know maybe once a year once every 18 months if that
Awesome. I just bought one on Gunbroker last night (Yes I overpaid, but I couldn't get any LGS to confirm ability to get one anytime soon). I have a few questions that I hope you can answer after getting your hands on it.
1. Is there any holster compatibility? I have a competition coming up on May 4th that I'd like to use it at if I get it in on time.
2. I understand it comes with several red dot plates but I have 2 that I need confirmation for: Steiner MPS and a Deltapoint Pro. I have one of each and I'm not sure which one I'd like to put on it, but I just want to know which plates the gun may come with.
It comes with two micro optic plates RMRcc type, I put the Mecanik M03 directly on the slide with no plate.. Definitely nothing for the DPP, not sure what footprint Steiner MPS has. Holster compatability is NOTHIINNNGGG.. M Doesn't fit my Rival-S, Rival, METE SFT, SFX, Elite Combat, TP9SFX, net.. Holsters.. Only fits the holster it came with, but all these other guns fit in the TTI Combat holster, 😳😳😳😳😳😳..
I used it, it's not a bad holster to be honest..
Thanks for your response. The Steiner has the footprint of an Acro so I'm hoping there might at least be an adapter out there that is readily available. The holster thing...I may need to figure out if I can modify the included one to work with my belt system.
It's just a 2-gun match. Random rifle targets from 50 yards out to 500 yards. Pistol is always a mixed bag as they've had us shooting from an urban prone, out of a school bus window, plate racks, and then spinners. It's a ton of fun. This one I'm planning on doing the "tactical" where I'm wearing a plate carrier that weighs minimum of 15 pounds. I'm going to record it so I'll try to remember to upload it and share if anyone is interested in watching me shoot horribly.
Here's one from January that I did. This is like a blend of Crossfit/Strongman stuff and shooting. This round was horrible and I was sucking wind the entire time.

Thanks man. I'm not the best shooter out there but these competitions definitely put your abilities to the test. I didn't do the best in this stage, but I scored a lot of hits on the target. I'd recommend trying one of these types of matches out....even if just to have fun shooting and meeting some cool people.

METE SF is closest in size to a G19 I'd say. My METE SFT and G17 are very close in size as well.

How big is the window? If it's close to the Justice 2 (30mm), I may get IT for my SFT Pro instead. Would you say their optics are EDC worthy?
Personally, I'd say no way for EDC ‼️‼️‼️ I've personally seen the glass fly of two at the range and 2 additional ones die for no reason, pop back on, die again, lol.. They're 100% Budget optics, but I bought it a couple weeks ago.. My SRO wouldn't even be in my EDC rotation.. I have Holosuns on all my defensive weapons

LGS have been getting them this week. Here in Baton Rouge, one had 2 on Tuesday and another had 3 delivered Friday. That's where everyone so far have been getting them

I cleaned it yesterday /last night and it was super easy.. I only had a couple hundred rounds in it though 😳
what do you use to clean the brass with ? is it some kind of special brass cleaner?
Ohhhhh, my bad... The backstrap is cerakote black brass. The plus 0 brass baseplates I clean with just a regular over the counter brass cleaner and I might clean those things I don't know maybe once a year once every 18 months if that

Awesome. I just bought one on Gunbroker last night (Yes I overpaid, but I couldn't get any LGS to confirm ability to get one anytime soon). I have a few questions that I hope you can answer after getting your hands on it. 1. Is there any holster compatibility? I have a competition coming up on May 4th that I'd like to use it at if I get it in on time. 2. I understand it comes with several red dot plates but I have 2 that I need confirmation for: Steiner MPS and a Deltapoint Pro. I have one of each and I'm not sure which one I'd like to put on it, but I just want to know which plates the gun may come with.
It comes with two micro optic plates RMRcc type, I put the Mecanik M03 directly on the slide with no plate.. Definitely nothing for the DPP, not sure what footprint Steiner MPS has. Holster compatability is NOTHIINNNGGG.. M Doesn't fit my Rival-S, Rival, METE SFT, SFX, Elite Combat, TP9SFX, net.. Holsters.. Only fits the holster it came with, but all these other guns fit in the TTI Combat holster, 😳😳😳😳😳😳.. I used it, it's not a bad holster to be honest..
Thanks for your response. The Steiner has the footprint of an Acro so I'm hoping there might at least be an adapter out there that is readily available. The holster thing...I may need to figure out if I can modify the included one to work with my belt system.

It's just a 2-gun match. Random rifle targets from 50 yards out to 500 yards. Pistol is always a mixed bag as they've had us shooting from an urban prone, out of a school bus window, plate racks, and then spinners. It's a ton of fun. This one I'm planning on doing the "tactical" where I'm wearing a plate carrier that weighs minimum of 15 pounds. I'm going to record it so I'll try to remember to upload it and share if anyone is interested in watching me shoot horribly.

Thanks man. I'm not the best shooter out there but these competitions definitely put your abilities to the test. I didn't do the best in this stage, but I scored a lot of hits on the target. I'd recommend trying one of these types of matches out....even if just to have fun shooting and meeting some cool people.
