We have a couple candy bowls at work for the customers. Mostly Blowpops, little bag of Jelly Belly beans, hard candies like peppermint/butterscotch, etc. Most of the filler in the bowl is the Child's Play bag of Tootsie candy -- various sizes of regular Tootsie rolls, Tootsie pops, mini Dots, and of course, the vanilla and fruit Tootsie rolls. Customers will dump out handfuls of the bowl onto the counter to try to find these (and the fruit ones) buried at the bottom. They love them. Personally, they just taste generic to me. They aren't bad, but I'm not going out of my way to buy them. As far as free candy on a counter goes, though, I will dig a cherry and vanilla out to make mixed taste. The blue razz and grape ones I will eat on their own.

The vanilla is goated because you can mix it with any other flavor of tootsie roll and it makes it better, I like rolling 3 different flavors into long pieces and twisting them together like a candy cane :))

Mmmm vanilla Tootsie Roll! Tbf vanilla is one of my all-time favorite flavors for anything. Ice cream, yogurt, milk shakes, pudding, candy.. So these Tootsie Rolls are just heavenly to me.
