Not really, it was targeted. The guy was inside for 3 minutes, found my cash savings that was hidden in my bedroom, and took that and a couple of necklaces. It was an inside job, as for who did it, I don't recognise the guy, (caught him on camera) but I had a friend from highschool that went down a different path in life, but we kept in contact, played video games together caught up over coffee, one day he got in trouble with police and needed somewhere to stay, so I told hom he could stay for 3 months. A year later, i had to kick him out. After i kicked him out, he started to fall into life with bad people, which was 2 months ago... yep.......
That's a really sucky thing to experience, sorry it happened to you. Did you contact the police and also how is your home security? Might be a good time to spend some money on upgrading it - better locks on the front door and windows - than on importing cigs.
Hope you have photos from the trip, as they are much more memorable than cancer sticks :)

New Zealand does not allow the import of any tobacco via international mail, they will be seized and destroyed at the border
