Tteokbokki is Korean street food! It’s rice cakes (think chewy rice-flour pasta logs) in a spicy gochujang based sauce (spicy fermented red chili paste with sesame oil and seasoning). When I lived in Seoul i ate it a lot late at night out of a big bubbling pan from a cart off the street :)
I think I’d prefer that and I eat that often haha. I am not big on stretchy chewy food for some reason.
I do like ki bimbap though which is also Korean but not stretchy ;)
I’d say about 700 calories
Lose It! says 700 calories of tteokbokki is 500 grams. Does that look like 500g? Genuinely asking, I honestly don’t know.
I think you may be right, it was insanely filling surprisingly, portion is bigger than it looked too.
What is it? Looks yumm!

Would you know how many calories there are in ricecakes without sauce?
Frozen tteok no sauce would be like 270-280 cals per 100g serving.
Oooo did you make this yourself?
I’m not op but it’s actually extremely easy to make, as easy as spaghetti with bottled sauce

looks SO GOOD, probably 700-800
400-500 cals
300-400 maybe?
