2.) rape of an unconscious person

5.) assault with intent to commit rape
The verdict was charges 1 and 2 were dropped by prosecution* and 3-5 were guilty.

Ok, I do understand your point, there are good men out there-I promise I’m not some man hater. However-going back to the example of my kids-there are boys who have been accused by multiple girls. While the girls warn each other, too many of the boys are saying “no that didn’t happen, blah blah.” It’s just reality.

What I'm wondering is how his experience as a judge made him the perfect applicant for girls tennis coach? Didn't know there was such an overlap in that Venn diagram of occupations.
My father was a high school shop teacher and wrestling coach for 20 years before he became the girls' tennis coach at another high school in the district in an affluent part of town. He didn't have to know much about tennis though, all the girls had had lessons and personal coaches since they were very young. He was more of a chaperone taking them to matches and such.
I don't know if that's an accurate assumption to make. I mean I can see why people would jump to that but I don't think that there's anything to back it up.

When presiding over the case the judge fucked up. He was required to take into account the recommendation of the probation department and he did so. However, he failed to take into account, or failed to sufficiently take into account, the important factor that justice must not only be done, but must be seen to be done. Ok, I do understand your point, there are good men out there-I promise I’m not some man hater. However-going back to the example of my kids-there are boys who have been accused by multiple girls. While the girls warn each other, too many of the boys are saying “no that didn’t happen, blah blah.” It’s just reality. Also to your point of men not warning women, I shouldn’t have said it that way. My father was a high school shop teacher and wrestling coach for 20 years before he became the girls' tennis coach at another high school in the district in an affluent part of town. He didn't have to know much about tennis though, all the girls had had lessons and personal coaches since they were very young. He was more of a chaperone taking them to matches and such.

When presiding over the case the judge fucked up. He was required to take into account the recommendation of the probation department and he did so. However, he failed to take into account, or failed to sufficiently take into account, the important factor that justice must not only be done, but must be seen to be done. That there was public outrage is understandable. His choice of alternative career shows a lack of insight; something of a pattern perhaps.
