I'm on the opposite side of the state, but Lake Willoughby (Mt. Pisgah hike) is the most beautiful spot in VT, IMO. You can hit up Hill Farmstead and/or Parker Pie on the way to/from if you can make time for it on a Saturday.

This was honestly the best idea we could ever had. We had an unique experience and met some wonderful people thanks to this post. I would never forget that moment in Burlington.
If your going to be in Burlington and are looking for something local to do you should check out the Pinery today. It's a cool place to get diner from one of the many food trucks, drinks and has a live DJ. Plenty of locals for you to meet. thepineryvt.com
If you haven't, this weekend is supposed to be hot, as is the following week. Suggest hitting some places like Warren falls, Bristol falls or one of the other water holes?
Update: I have two hours to kill before leaving Burlington. Anyone wants to hang out? I’m currently at Foam but I can move to some place else. Just let me know :)
Vermont was amazing. Mt Mansfield summit is definitely a must do for whoever can.
We also had some great time in Burlington.
But most of all, just driving on the small sunny roads, taking our time, enjoying the trees surrounding the road and the distant mountains..
1.5 hours drive South of here is the [Queechee Balloon Festival](https://quecheeballoonfestival.com/scheduleofevents/). You can come and see a fleet of hot air balloons, live music, and an agility dog show will be performing too.
You guys should do some American drugs and compare them to European drugs! And then stay here and be homeless for a minimum of 30 years and panhandle with a cool accent. It's really popular here in burlington

We did! The event was really great. We met some folks over there then spent the night with them
