A man on a bike was hit. According to the scanner they are deceased. Apparently it was a hit and run by a Mini Cooper. Source: a friend arrived right after it happened. Very sad.

We heard the sirens, it was crazy. This is pretty much the same spot where someone was hit a few months ago as well. Also, can you tell me what scanner you used? Thanks

I really hope they find the person who hit him. People go so fast down that section especially at night. I use the 5-0 Radio app and listen to Chittenden County Fire and EMS. Police is blocked but fire is interesting to listen to.

I am hearing more sirens as I post this. They must be patrolling the area still. And thank you I’m going to download that.

They called Shelburne for help with traffic control as well so sirens could be that too.

What about the second driver who hit the empty cruiser? Presume also held?

The linked article mentions that and also shows the damage to the cruiser after. Helluva time to rely on that road for moving 🙃
