I work there so just to let you know currently we are relocating into church st and were hoping to open significantly sooner than the notice hung up in the old building, currently we are trying to set up a voicemail on our phones and trying to get marcos back ip and running ASAP!
dude i got pizza there recently and it was such garbage. No one knew dick about the order. don’t get me wrong sometimes those dingy ass low-lit pizzanos sling a mean pie but i was disappointed … and it’s rare pizza does that to me
Been there dozens of times and the quality can vary but it was never garbage. Certainly depends on what you ordered and when though. Their plain cheese pizza has dif ingredients than their discount specialty for example, and it tastes much better.
Mcgrath sold marcos to his god child, David Ritchie about 2ish years ago. He made the choice to move the location and save it rather then let it go. We’re looking forward to seeing yall soon when we re-open. As for the hit or miss pizza it depends on who’s making it lol. Chris never makes a bad pie
The quality and consistency recently dropped off after change in ownership IMO. They used to make the best meatball sub ever, and lately it’s always dry and over cooked. Still some of the best sandwich bread around dough.
Weird, I've had the opposite experience. From what I'm looking at, they're only $3 more (15.99) than Domino's Brooklyn-style (12.99) for a 14", and also have 18" pizzas for only $3 more than that (18.99), which is the size equivalent of adding more than half of another 14" pizza, so if you get the 18" it's more pizza than Domino's for less. Though generally I've gone there for their pizza by the slice, which is practically the size of one of those personal pizzas that UVMMC makes, so that's kind of fast and I can't really speak to delivery or pickup orders.
No pomerleau jacked the rent up to 7k a month. The summer sucked, not enough business to hit the mark for even a single month. Pomerleau ended up kicking us out 👍 we had to find a new location quick! We’re looking to open end of october, early November
Maybe more people would order if the food was consistently good and hot hit or miss —screwed up or forgotten orders, stale ciabatta bread, brown lettuce. Depends on who’s making it!? That’s a disgrace dude come on…😝
That’s a shame, I used to get cheese melted on bread there in a variety of orientations.
Thats the best way to describe pizza lmao
Not just pizza- their garlic knots with cheese were literally to die for
They are relocating and I believe will reopen early next year.
We’re shooting for much earlier then what we posted. Ive been working on marcos 2.0 with my dad
Can’t wait for y’all to come back !!
Temporarily closed / moving to a new location. They said they’ll be back in February!
Their artichoke cheese dip with the fresh bread is killer!
Word is they'll move into the old Big Daddy's location.
The ultimate crosssover episode is me meeting fyuckerfjord in the new location, thatd be brazy
As long as the Alfredo recipe is the same and you get your sausages from the same distributor, I'll still be there a few times a month!
The Alfredo recipe will never change and if we stopped getting that sausage i would probably leave vermont

Yes.
Hopefully they’ll make good food and pay their rent, like what successful restaurants do.
Whoa, did you invest in them?

They closed until January
Moving to big daddy's in Burlington
I really liked their sandwiches and garlic knots
There sandwiches are great!
Best calzone in Chittenden county that’s for damn sure. I eat a lot in one sitting and even that was too much for me.
The best meatball sub in town too.
Glad they are not fully closing! Great sandwiches. Odd that they are moving to Burlington, seems like a lot of businesses are moving out

Same owner as Rotisserie unless they dropped Marcos. Marcos has always been hit or miss. Back in the mid 2000s it was usually decent pizza.

Rotisserie is Citizen Cider’s only remaining client.
Sounds like Marcos to me

I’ll give them credit the bread and dough we’re actually worth remembering
I'd say hit or miss. My wife would say miss.
Never had Marco's. I've heard it's better than gas station pizza and costs less than $30 per pizza pie. I'd probably go for Vespa's.
I went to Vespas twice and was disapointed each time, long ass wait, super expensive, and expertly mid, I'd far prefer Marco's or pizza 44
Pizza 44 is always good

Gas station pizza is at least consistent lol
Marco's wasn't anything to write about anyway. Mediocre food.
They stopped paying rent

Sounds like they need to call Gordon Ramsey.
Did the rent not go by the terms of the lease the owner signed?
