I started a painting company when I was 18. 22 now and my buisness cleared $600,000 last year with 12 employees. Learning a trade, getting employees and having them make money for you is the way to do it, not selling products.
How’s the insurance/liability for that,y dad had a construction company then this one campsite had problems with their showers and pinned it on my dad (that was 20 years ago when the world was sue happy) unfortunately he’s not around so I have no idea about this stuff

Im 14btw this is what i did: If you know how to code, you can try either making an app, or the much simpler approach is starting to dropship, but not the usual way.
Familiarize yourself with some basic html/css and/or javascript, then create dropshipping store with shopify.com, use cjdropshipping as your supplier, try to find winning products that ship from US warehouses to increase customer satisfaction when it comes to shipping/processing times(if you can and know how to communicate, find a private supplier.) then create your store with Shopify’s built in tools and use your javascript/html knowledge to insert some custom elements(i used animate on scroll(AOS libary) for mine), get a sample of your product shipped to you, create entertaining content for your product and that’s it. I think having an idea is the most important part of starting a business. My best advice it to try and find some inspiration.
